Chapter 149 - Chapter 149 Why is there blood on both of his mouths?

Yin Xiu stared at him, drew his sword back, swung it around, but didn't sheath it. "You know me quite well."

The man nodded. "Do you want to know my name?"

Yin Xiu said lazily, "I don't want to know. Anyway, I can remember it again if my memory returns."

"Don't you want to know?" the man pressed closer, still persistently asking.

"I don't want to." Yin Xiu brandished his knife, then looked up at the students in the cafeteria who were huddled in a corner, terrified by what had just happened. "I have important things to do."

"Oh." The man said nothing more.

The comments section was restored, and we were finally able to see the scenes in the cafeteria.

Upon arriving, they saw Li Mo standing next to Yin Xiu, and then the two looked at the group of strange students standing in the corner of the cafeteria, still somewhat confused.

"Is Brother Xiu thinking about his roommate?"

"I'm not sure, let me check again."

"Why do they both have blood on their lips?!"

"Holy crap, did Xiu-ge eat some weird stuff with his roommate? Look how scared those students in the cafeteria are, they must have seen something really terrifying."

"If it's Brother Xiu, it might actually be possible!"

"Oh, thank goodness the screen went black just now, perfectly avoiding the scary scene, haha."

"So what's the current situation?"

"I don't know, let's see."

The atmosphere in the bullet comments was relaxed and cheerful, while the atmosphere in the cafeteria was tense and frozen.

The students during the day are self-aware and follow the rules while maintaining their enthusiasm for Yin Xiu, but after witnessing what just happened, those who are afraid will still be afraid.

Monsters are beings that instill fear in players. If players are no longer afraid, or even turn around and bite back, then it is the monsters that should be feared.

The students were watching Yin Xiu warily, unsure of what he would do in this semi-conscious and confused state.

"Can we kill them?" Yin Xiu asked the man, pointing his knife at the students.

The students were terrified.

"You can't kill him." The man smiled and replied to Yin Xiu. "There are rules; you can't kill your classmates."

The students gradually relaxed again.

"Really?" Yin Xiu frowned. "I don't even remember there being such a rule."

After saying that, he looked at the man and said, "You wouldn't be trying to protect your own kind by deliberately using the rules to trick me and prevent me from killing monsters, would you?"

The man pursed his lips, and after a few seconds, he smiled and said, "The rule is that you can't kill, but I can."

He's so clever; he figured out a way to prove his innocence to his boyfriend in just a few seconds.

The students were terrified again.

How can they be in danger of death when there are rules protecting them? That doesn't make sense!

"Is my confusion related to them?" Yin Xiu asked again.

The man nodded, still remembering the gift boxes that interfered with Yin Xiu's consciousness, and the tempting words he heard every day. These monsters could not be allowed to linger for even a second!

"Then let's kill them first and see if I can recover." Yin Xiu sheathed his knife, raised his hand and pointed at the strange students, "Prove to me that you're on my side."

The man smiled slightly, revealing terrifying sharp teeth. "Yes, sir."

A few seconds later, a strange scream rang out in the cafeteria, blood splattered everywhere, and the scene was extremely horrifying, making the entire online audience tremble with fear.

"I thought I'd avoided some scary scenes today! How could I still see them?!"

"As expected of Brother Xiu, some monsters are bound to die when clearing a dungeon. So far, only one security guard has died. Something felt off, but now I feel relieved."

"The path that Xiu-ge takes to pass through the pass is paved with the corpses of monsters."

"That felt so good!"

Under the man's attack, the strange students fled in panic while trying to persuade Yin Xiu to beg for mercy.

They surged towards Yin Xiu, tears of blood streaming from their eyes, crying out, "We were so good to you, weren't we? Why did you treat us like this?"

"We're classmates! We're the ones on your side!"

"Trust us, and we will become good friends, and we can stay together forever."

"We like you very much, we really like you, and we would never hurt you."

"That man is the one you should be killing!"

Their crying was genuine, as if they truly cared for Yin Xiu, posing no threat whatsoever, and appearing utterly innocent.

Yin Xiu stood straight in place, staring at them unmoved, and slowly drew his knife.

As soon as he drew his sword, the strange students were so frightened that they immediately hid from him.

Yin Xiu stared at them and sneered, "That's the difference between you and him."

Can't he tell the difference between the unwavering trust shown when a knife is swung at him and the fear that makes him dodge a random, aimless draw?

The eerie students screamed, their voices cut off by the man's bite.

Yin Xiu lazily walked to the side to sit for a while, intending to wait for him to finish killing and return to report the results. When he turned his head, he suddenly saw a figure in the disabled person's window.

The woman with the long, slender neck was looking at me with a gentle smile, her gaze kind and tender.

This is also a monster that is different from other monsters; you won't be afraid of it.

"You are also...someone I know?" Yin Xiu pondered, wondering if he had such a good relationship with the monster before his cognition became confused.

"No." The woman shook her head, but a smile played on her crimson lips. "I'm just an auntie who serves you food."

Yin Xiu stared at her, scrutinizing her. Although she said those things, she was indeed different from other monsters and was not afraid of him.

The woman inside slowly stretched out a hand from the window, holding a small bag and shaking it. "This is a gift from your aunt."

Yin Xiu stepped forward and took it; it was a packet of candy.

He suddenly remembered that he clearly remembered his aunt when he was eating chicken legs, but then he forgot about it again.

"Auntie, is my cognitive problem very serious?" Yin Xiu frowned and looked at his aunt through the window. "How can I recover?"

His aunt pointed to the candy in his hand, "This can only provide temporary relief. To fully recover, you'll have to find it yourself."

"it?"

Auntie pointed to the ground, "The monster behind this school."

She looked at Li Mo, who was wreaking havoc over there, and said, "That man looks a lot like it. At first, I thought it had transformed into this form to confuse you, but later I found out they are not the same person."

"Perhaps…" Aunt looked at Yin Xiu thoughtfully, "Perhaps if he were by your side, I could let you go to that dangerous place."

Auntie pointed behind her, "The kitchen, a place that leads out of the school."

Yin Xiu was taken aback. He remembered that Ye Tianxuan had found out about the kitchen passage, the place where school food was transported, from his aunt on the first day, but he had never had the chance to investigate it.

So that's such an important place?

"It's very dangerous inside…very dangerous, so only Auntie in the whole school has the medicine to restore cognition." Auntie stared at him intently. "If you go, you might not come back intact."

Yin Xiu remained unmoved. "Auntie, don't worry, I'm not alone."

Auntie smiled and said, "How can you say you're not human?"

"No... Auntie, I mean I have a monster following me..."

"Of course Auntie knows. Auntie understands the language of you young people very well."

His aunt teased him, which made Yin Xiu smile slightly.

The harmonious conversation between the two stood in stark contrast to the bloody carnage that raged in the cafeteria.
