Chapter 147 - Chapter 147 Closing your eyes usually means you're asking for a kiss, right?

The cafeteria was silent for a few seconds as all the students stared expectantly at Yin Xiu, hoping he would accept their food and integrate into the group.

Yin Xiu stared silently at the plate in front of him, his mouth watering.

He looked away and silently tried to pull out the knife, but it remained firmly pressed down and he couldn't pull it out.

Don't let him eat the food in the refrigerator, don't let him respond to the students' invitations, and don't let him kill the students.

This unknown presence that lingers around me seems to be restricting me because of some element. It has no fixed object, no similar element, and it will immediately stop me whenever I touch something that I shouldn't touch.

After much thought, Yin Xiu concluded that the only thing in the instance that wasn't fixed but required constant vigilance and could not be violated was the rules.

He pondered the rules carefully in his mind and suddenly realized a problem.

I don't quite remember the rules anymore.

He doesn't quite understand this instance, nor does he fully understand the situation around him, but he does understand himself.

Having gone through countless instances, he couldn't possibly forget the rules.

Yin Xiu frowned, realizing that the problem lay with himself, not with those around him.

What's strange isn't everything around me, but myself.

He looked up at his classmates who were so enthusiastic towards him, and his expression gradually turned cold.

Another strange place.

It's impossible that so many people in the instance care about him; nobody would like him, especially so many people.

He's been in this dungeon for so long without any obstacles, living a peaceful life every day, and with so many people caring about him—does this seem like a dungeon?

Perhaps he himself is having problems and is unable to discern the correct situation. In that case, doing the opposite of what is happening in the general environment might provide the answer.

After a moment of contemplation, Yin Xiu pushed away the plate offered by the student in front of him, picked up a raw chicken leg that had fallen on the table, and said calmly, "I suddenly remembered that we really shouldn't waste food, otherwise Auntie will be sad."

As soon as he picked it up, the students around him immediately became nervous. "Don't eat it! It'll make you sick!"

"Eating that stuff is really bad for your health, don't eat it, don't eat it!"

"That's right! Put it down and eat ours!"

The students' nervousness only strengthened their belief in Yin Xiu's idea.

He glanced at the half-cooked chicken leg, which was even still bloody, and then simply closed his eyes and took a bite.

The texture inside his mouth wasn't pleasant, so he didn't even bother chewing and just swallowed it whole. He hurriedly finished one before opening his eyes.

He looked up and noticed that the students in front of him did not look well. They were all staring at him with complicated expressions and repeatedly trying to stop him, saying, "Don't eat anymore, it's really bad for your health."

Someone tried to come up and take the chicken leg off the table, but before they could even touch it, Yin Xiu pushed them away.

The more they resisted, the clearer Yin Xiu became, feeling that he had found the direction to break this confusing situation.

Yin Xiu picked up the remaining few, hurriedly stuffed them into his mouth to satisfy his hunger, and then closed his eyes and gnawed away.

Since he'd already eaten one, eating two more wouldn't hurt, right? He wanted to see how this situation would develop.

After a few chicken drumsticks, Yin Xiu vaguely noticed that the chicken drumsticks in his hand had changed. The pink, torn parts no longer seemed to be blood and raw meat, but rather cute pink gummy candies.

He recognized the gummy candy; it was the one the cafeteria lady had given him.

Is that a gummy candy sandwiched inside the chicken leg?

Why did his aunt try so hard to give him candy? Has his cognitive development deteriorated to the point where she had to trick him into eating candy in this way?

He was stunned for a moment. The instant he realized the problem, the students who had just been standing in front of him quickly retreated, as if they were avoiding something.

Yin Xiu turned his head following their wary gaze and suddenly discovered that a strange man in a black suit had appeared behind him from nowhere, staring at the students with a gloomy expression and exuding a sense of danger.

"Who are you?!" Yin Xiu immediately turned away from him, gripping the hilt of his sword and staring nervously at the person opposite him.

How could he be completely unaware that such a strange and dangerous man was standing behind him!

A moment of surprise flashed across the man's face as he was met with his cold question, before a sinister smile slowly crept onto his face, his eyes narrowing slightly. "You can see me?"

When he smiled, he revealed sharp teeth between his lips. As he spoke, Yin Xiu could clearly see the dense array of accessory teeth in his mouth, which was terrifying.

This monster, which was clearly not human, actually maintained a smile and asked him in a kind manner!

Yin Xiu's face was cold as he tightened his grip on the hilt of his knife. "I'll ask you one more time, who are you!"

The man pursed his lips, a subtle displeasure emanating from him, causing a sudden chill to descend upon the entire cafeteria, instantly putting Yin Xiu on high alert.

"Looks like you haven't recovered yet," the man said quietly, slowly taking a step closer to Yin Xiu. "But never mind, it's good that you can see me. I'll always find a way to restore you from the contamination."

He smiled, a hint of danger in his eyes, "I'll help you recover in my own way."

Yin Xiu didn't know what he was muttering, but he sensed something was wrong. He drew his sharp, long Miao sword, gripped it tightly with both hands, and confronted his opponent.

He would definitely make a move if the other party dared to get even a fraction closer to him.

The atmosphere between the two was tense. Yin Xiu stared at him coldly, a flash of murderous intent in his eyes.

The man was well aware of Yin Xiu's decisiveness, so he didn't approach him directly, but stood a few steps away from him with a smile.

But the next second, Yin Xiu's wrist, which was holding the knife, was suddenly wrapped by something cold and slammed onto the cafeteria table.

With a loud thud, Yin Xiu was pressed firmly onto the table, his hands gripping the knife raised above his head, the chilling aura desperately suppressing his greatest killing intent.

"Let go!" Yin Xiu struggled violently, trying to pull his wrist back.

The man strode forward, grabbed the hand holding the knife, and smiled, "Boyfriend, don't point a knife at me, it will hurt me."

Yin Xiu struggled, but the chill wrapped around his wrist tightened, and he couldn't shake it off no matter what he did.

He suddenly realized that this man was the unseen being who had restrained him last night, and what was with the "boyfriend" thing? What was he calling him?

"I don't have a boyfriend!" Yin Xiu gritted his teeth and kicked out, but the other person grabbed his ankle.

He wasn't angry. Instead, he smiled and leaned closer, pressing his forehead against Yin Xiu's, and said gently, "I can wait until you recover before I scold you, but right now, it's more important for you to recover."

The sudden closeness meant that Yin Xiu's vision was filled entirely with the man's dark eyes, as if his gaze was instantly taken over by him, and he could see nothing else but the man.

He said in a low, soft voice, "Come on, boyfriend, look at me."

The other person's voice was slowly seducing him.

The dizziness returned, but it wasn't the sharp, headache-inducing tinnitus of before; it was a very soothing and light feeling.

Yin Xiu stubbornly turned his head away and closed his eyes. It was impossible for him to obediently submit to such an obviously dangerous presence.

The man smiled as he stared at Yin Xiu's closed eyes, his index finger brushing against Yin Xiu's hair.

Their breaths mingled so closely that danger and ambiguity were separated by only a fine line.

The man held Yin Xiu's wrist as he struggled to break free and said softly, "Boyfriend, I've heard that when humans close their eyes at such close range, it's usually because they want a kiss."

"Yeah?"
