Chapter 159 - Chapter 159 "God of Slaughter" is not a derogatory term!

"The child is so big, why does he still need someone to pick him up?" The director said as he walked out of the yard, smiling as he tried to reach out and pull Yin Xiu's arm.

As soon as he arrived, Yin Xiu's knife flashed and slashed across his neck with great decisiveness and efficiency.

"Although I've forgotten why I hate you, I can't control my knife when I see you." Yin Xiu touched the man's chest with the tip of his knife, and the man fell to the ground.

The woman in the courtyard screamed in terror and rushed out, but Yin Xiu had already wiped his knife and turned to walk away.

From the time he never entered the orphanage to the time he did, it seems to have followed his life's timeline, so what happened next was...

As Yin Xiu walked, he heard the sound of the waves.

He strode forward quickly, passing through the hazy mist, and sure enough, he saw a small patch of sea beyond. The light of dusk shone on the surging shore, where piles of rocks led to what appeared to be a sheltered place where layers of books were stacked.

The disorganized books seemed so out of place with the coastal scene that Yin Xiu momentarily thought he was seeing things.

But as he squinted and looked closely, he suddenly noticed something moving behind the layers of books.

As he crossed the beach, he kept glancing in the direction of the book, trying to recognize what it was before leaving the area.

Perhaps the sound of footsteps caught the little thing's attention, for a tiny head suddenly peeked out from behind the book, its dark eyes meeting Yin Xiu's gaze.

It seemed to be a person, but not entirely. Its upper body was that of a very young child, holding a book about the same size as itself and looking at it. Its lower body was covered with tentacles and lay on a thick book.

It was clearly a monster, crawling on the beach with its hands, leaving behind a trail of black slime on the sand.

The moment their eyes met, the other person suddenly became excited and crawled across the beach at lightning speed, shouting as he crawled, "Yin Xiu! Yin Xiu!"

What the hell? He saw a dark, half-human monster crawling toward him at lightning speed.

Yin Xiu frowned, turned around and ran.

Judging from the information, it seems to be Li Mo, but I'm not sure. Anyone who doesn't call him her boyfriend is a fake!

As Yin Xiu ran ahead, the monster chased after him, shouting Yin Xiu's name all the way until Yin Xiu sped into the mist at the speed of light, at which point the sound faded into the distance.

As he ran, Yin Xiu arrived at the retirement town he knew best.

At this time, the town square was not yet so lively, and the walls were not covered with rule sheets. The players were distant from each other and did not want to have too much entanglement with others.

Beneath the enormous square statue, someone was still struggling to shout, "I've summarized and recorded the rules for surviving in this town and saved them as a guide. It may not be perfect now, but it will definitely become more perfect in the future."

"I don't know if it will be of any use to you, but it's always good to have one in your hand."

As Yin Xiu crossed the town square, he saw a white figure distributing rule sheets amidst the crowd in the setting sun.

Back then, he was all alone. Players wouldn't trust strangers and preferred to rely on themselves. No one would entrust their life to another. Even in small towns, there would be instances of players robbing other players' items at all costs. Players whose items were stolen would undoubtedly die in the next dungeon raid.

People doubt each other and are suspicious of everyone around them. There is no trust or bond. The person who distributes rule sheets and passes on strategies to others must be an outcast in the town.

Yin Xiu strolled leisurely over to his side, and the other man immediately handed him a rule sheet with great enthusiasm, "Friend, can you take one with you?"

The person in front of me was pale and thin, looking like he could die in the dungeon at any moment. It was ridiculous that he was thinking about others when he was about to die himself, especially in a town where players were fiercely fighting each other.

Yin Xiu's gaze swept over his bloodless face, then landed on his arm with its bright red cuts and bruises, and he said in a low voice, "You just had your props stolen, didn't you? How come you still have time to hand out rule sheets here?"

Why would someone who is already on the verge of collapse want to help others?

Ye Tianxuan's face suddenly curved into a smile, "Oh my, you're the first person to stop and talk to me. I didn't expect you to care about other people's well-being, Yin Shashen."

Yin Xiu stared at him with droopy eyes, "Stop being sarcastic with me, or I'll kill you."

Ye Tianxuan put away the rule sheet in his hand, turned around and stepped onto the stone steps under the statue of Lady Ye. He faced the countless players walking by in the town, pointing to the people who were fighting for it, and then to the people who were cowering in the corner with a look of despair.

"There are many players in the dungeon who are just as weak as me. Everyone enters here following their own desires, but they don't have the strength to pursue those desires. Even if they regret it, they can't get out."

He stretched his hand toward the sky, his palm cupping the setting sun. "I can't save everyone in the instance, but I want to save those within my power. First, the one or two I encounter, then everyone around me, and finally this town, or perhaps an entire instance."

"One day, the players in this town will be changed, and their muddy spirit will be filled with sunshine, because hope will make them shine."

His figure facing the sunlight was full of vigor. "I will prove that even in places where life and death are separated by a hair's breadth, humanity will not rot. Everyone just needs a ladder to climb up."

"That's why I help everyone."

Yin Xiu looked at him, trying hard to recall how he had answered Ye Tianxuan when they met back then.

Ye Tianxuan was standing on a high place, reaching out his hands and putting his hands on his hips. The movements were so big that he couldn't stand still and his foot slipped, almost falling down.

Yin Xiu raised his hand to support him and safely placed the little white flower on the ground.

He remembered his answer back then.

"Be careful. You can't even stand on your own two feet, yet you're thinking of helping others up."

Yin Xiu couldn't recall whether he meant to mock him at the time, but that's what he said.

"Do you think I can do it, Yin the God of Slaughter?"

Seeing that Yin Xiu was about to leave, Ye Tianxuan followed behind him, secretly rolling up the rules sheet and trying to attach it to the belt where Yin Xiu hung his sword. Yin Xiu slapped it away and replied irritably, "I can do it, I can do it. Don't call me Yin the God of Slaughter anymore. Call me that again and I'll stab you."

"Oh." Ye Tianxuan stopped, watching Yin Xiu's retreating footsteps, then waved. "Yin Xiu, I will also become an independent person like you!"

He raised his hand to his mouth and shouted, "God of Slaughter isn't a derogatory term! No! It's a respectful term! A respectful term!"

Everyone else thought the God of Slaughter was cold-blooded, ruthless, and terrifying.

What Ye Tianxuan saw was that he could clear the dungeon independently, he was incredibly powerful and invincible, he was amazing!

We need to find a way to get our hands on this sharp knife and use it.
