Chapter 163 - Chapter 163 The Town Will Respond to Him

Inside the black passage, Yin Xiu led the two monsters forward. As they walked, Ya Ya suddenly vanished.

Yin Xiu quickly reached into his pocket and found that the prop coin had not returned, which meant that Ya Ya had not transformed back into her prop form.

He pondered for a moment, then slowly turned his gaze to Li Mo beside him. "You took Ya Ya away?"

Li Mo smiled unmoved. "No."

"Then how come she..." Yin Xiu pondered. Since Li Mo was still here, it meant that the monsters around him were unaffected, but only Ya Ya suddenly disappeared and didn't turn back into a prop...

He suddenly remembered the last note on Ya Ya's props.

Besides him, there's another person who can use it when they're in danger, but... Zhong Mu didn't enter this instance, did he?

As if he had just thought of something, Yin Xiu's expression turned grim. "Could this time's dungeon boss be able to enter the town?"

Li Mo smiled calmly from the side, "If his abilities are similar to mine, perhaps it is possible."

"Then the whole town would be…" Yin Xiu frowned and strode forward.

He walked through the dark passage to the end, where there was a door, but inexplicably there was a table with a chessboard on it.

Yin Xiu picked up a chess piece that looked very much like himself, and then looked at the other chess pieces on the table. As he passed through each node, he roughly understood the inexplicable changes in the scene he had seen before.

It was Ye Tianxuan playing a game with the dungeon boss. Judging from the result, it seems that Ye Tianxuan won and led him to the end, which is why he came out.

He looked around the table but didn't see Ye Tianxuan's chess pieces. He clearly smelled the fragrance of flowers when he passed through the white mist earlier, so Ye Tianxuan should have used him to help him.

Yin Xiu turned his head and watched as the door led Li Mo away from there.

After pushing open the door, he returned to school.

This time, however, the school is slightly different.

As soon as Yin Xiu stepped out of the kitchen, he heard the howling wind and the cries of people in the school, and saw tiny purple lights floating in the air, along with a familiar smell.

After sniffing the air, Yin Xiu's expression darkened further. He silently clutched the divination results from the City of Bliss in his pocket, and strode out with a grim face.

The entire school was completely different from when he first entered the kitchen. The sky was no longer pitch black, but covered with dark clouds, a gloomy and oppressive expanse.

The school was shaking violently, the wind was howling, and the towering waves could even be seen from parts of the school's outer walls.

The school was indeed floating on the sea. It seemed that everything he had just passed by had triggered something, and the entire school was undergoing a strange change.

He strode towards the playground and finally saw the source of the chaotic noise in the school.

Those were many players who had already become monsters. Some were players from the town, and others were players currently in this instance. They were all gathered around a spot under the teaching building. Some sat there silently, while others cried incessantly.

Seeing the sorrow etched on those familiar faces, Yin Xiu's bad premonition deepened.

"What are you all doing here?" He stood in the wind, staring intently at the center of the crowd's gaze, trying to see through their line of sight to see what was there.

Startled by Yin Xiu's voice, the players in the town turned around abruptly. They stared at Yin Xiu in astonishment, exchanged complicated glances, then silently wiped away their tears and moved closer to him, blocking his view.

"We... well, we were pulled into this instance by a monster. I didn't expect that monster could actually go to the town..."

Yin Xiu remained unmoved by their answers and attempts to cover up their actions, staring intently at that spot. "Then, what are you crying about?"

The players' expressions froze. "Because they've all turned into monsters...it must be really sad..."

Yin Xiu narrowed his eyes. "Where's Ye Tianxuan? Isn't he with you?"

He didn't believe that Ye Tianxuan wouldn't do anything for all the players after they were pulled into the town and turned into monsters.

The lingering smell of smoke in the air is the best proof that Ye Tianxuan must have done something to make them wail and cry here.

"Boss Ye... Boss Ye, he..." The person who answered was flustered and didn't know how to respond.

However, Zhong Mu's voice rang out from the crowd, "Forget it... you can't hide it forever. Let the big boss come and take a look."

The players in the front row whispered, "But Boss Ye instructed us before... in case something happens, try not to let Yin Xiu know..."

"But we can't hide it like this now, can we?"

The players fell silent. They glanced at Yin Xiu furtively, then quietly looked away, unsure of what to do.

In the end, they moved aside.

Yin Xiu stood there and immediately saw Zhong Mu, who had turned into a monster, holding someone. Ya Ya was also beside him. Just as Yin Xiu had expected, Ya Ya had indeed sensed the danger Zhong Mu was in and that's why she came over.

"Brother..." Ya Ya was a little at a loss. She subconsciously stepped forward to block him, afraid that if Yin Xiu saw this, he would also show a sad expression like the people around him.

But Yin Xiu silently took two steps forward and saw that it was Ye Tianxuan.

His face was pale, but his eyes were serene. Despite the blood on his face, he looked very calm.

"Is he asleep? Or has he passed out?" Yin Xiu asked in a low voice.

The players remained silent, not daring to answer him. Who knew how the provoked Yin Shashen would go berserk?

Previously, Boss Ye had specially trained them on emergency avoidance methods in the one in ten thousand chance of encountering Yin the God of Slaughter going berserk. However, that was only for dealing with the cold-hearted God of Slaughter from the past. Now, they didn't know what to do.

The players' silence made the wind whistling throughout the school sound particularly jarring.

Yin Xiu stared at the person, not even getting too close. He remained silent, and everyone else did too.

The crowd stood there densely packed, each person standing ramrod straight, like a silent farewell.

Li Mo secretly glanced at Yin Xiu. He could sense that beneath the man's expressionless face, his emotions were fluctuating greatly.

Although his emotions fluctuated greatly, he remained expressionless and didn't shed a single tear. He simply stared at Ye Tianxuan before slowly closing his eyes.

"Okay, I understand." His short, light sentence carried more weight than everyone else's wailing and sobbing.

Yin Xiu then opened his eyes again, his gaze icy. "Now, I'm going to kill the murderer. Are you going?"

The players immediately perked up, wiping away their grief and their eyes blazing with anger. "Boss Yin! Do you know why Boss Ye died?"

"Go! Of course we'll go! How can we not avenge Boss Ye!"

"Maybe I did something wrong by myself, but we can definitely do it together!"

In the past, Ye Tianxuan was always the one who stood in front of them, bearing all the wind and snow. Now that he is gone, they must also stand on their own and follow Yin Xiu to fight in the formation.

Yin Xiu drew his longsword, its cold light flashing in the wind.

The entire school was churning in the storm, and a huge figure slowly emerged from the sea.
