Chapter 13 - "We can make a deal."

Hearing some noise, Theeran came outside and saw Bhadran shooting and killing a white man. He went closer to them. There was no sign of tension or fear on his face. He was completely normal.

Bhadran, handing the gun in his hand to his men, said, "Find out who this guy is and what he's doing here. Also, find out how he got inside. One of the guys here must have been responsible for letting him in." At this, one man in the group of henchmen trembled with fear.

He was the one who had let the white man in. If his master found out, that would be the end of him. The next moment, his life wouldn't be in his body. That's why he was trembling.

Until this day, nothing like this had ever happened at his house. Everyone would stay at least 10 miles away from the master out of fear. They wouldn't want to unnecessarily provoke him.

Given this, if this man had dared to come inside, he definitely wouldn't know about Bhadran. If he had known, he wouldn't have even dared to set foot on this side of the place.

"Dispose of him as usual," said Bhadran, getting up and trying to go back inside the house. Upon seeing Theeran standing there, a look of shock appeared on his face. Bhadran hadn't expected him to be there. Bhadran narrowed his eyes and looked at Theeran, who stood there without any fear or tension.

Hari also looked at him in surprise and asked, "Hey, milk carton, when did you come? Aren't you afraid?" Bhadran continued to look at him suspiciously.

Theeran replied, "Why should I be afraid? When you elders aren't afraid, why should I, a young boy, be afraid?" Hari looked at him in confusion. He further asked, "Hey, you milk carton, why are you saying the exact opposite?"

"I said it correctly," said Theeran, and quickly turned around to face Bhadran directly. "I need to talk to you," he said. Bhadran, while looking at Theeran, gestured to his men. At this, everyone dispersed and took up their positions on guard.

Hari, seeing Sarath watching this with his mouth agape in astonishment, patted him on the head and dragged him away.

Sarath asked, "Brother, who is that child? He's standing and talking so boldly in front of our boss?" Hari replied, "Hey, he's not a child, he's a little devil."

Sarath said, "What are you saying, brother? You're calling a child a little devil? Look there, that little boy is talking to our boss without any fear," he said proudly.

Hari, not sharing in that pride, said, "Yes, this milk carton shouldn't have so much courage. Look, he witnessed a murder firsthand and yet he's standing there so casually with his chest puffed out," and he began to listen to their conversation from a short distance.

Theeran, a little boy who was only knee-high, looked at Bhadran, who was wondering what he was going to ask. Theeran asked like a grown-up, "Yes, who are you? Why did you tie the sacred thread around my mother's neck?"

Bhadran frowned and looked at Theeran in surprise. In his presence, even big businessmen and politicians would be afraid to speak. Yet, today, a little boy was boldly asking him questions, looking him directly in the eye. Looking at Theeran, Bhadran replied, "My name is Bhadran." Immediately, Theeran asked sarcastically, "Bhadran, huh...? Just Bhadran? No initial? Or is there none?" Bhadran glared at him irritably and corrected him, saying, "N. Bhadran."

Sarath, who was watching this from a distance, almost fainted. "Brother, as you said, he's not a child, he's a little devil... He's even mocking the master," he said, leaning against Hari, who was also shocked.

"Damn it! Look at the audacity of this little brat! He's mocking our master. And he's answering without getting angry? Everything that's been happening here since morning is just amazing," Hari said, continuing to watch them.

Sensing Bhadran's anger, Theeran said, "Hmm... How do you feel? Are you getting angry at my question? It's the same for me. Since I was born, everyone has been asking me and my mother the same question." Bhadran looked at him in confusion.

"Why? You know who your father is, right? So why don't you just answer those who ask?" When he asked this, Theeran pursed his lips and retorted, "Neither we nor our mother know. She is alive in this world only for us. And we are the same. So, you stay away from her," he burst out. Bhadran looked at him in astonishment.

Theeran continued, "I don't know why you married her. But don't think you can make her your puppet and manipulate her as you please. If you think that, your life..."
