Kit's demeanor was a stunner to every onlooker. She didn't look even a tiny bit concerned with Lucas outburst. She calmly moved past him and headed for a specific spot where a blondie stood. Lucas nearly coughed blood. This was utter disrespect. "Well, what about me but how can you fuck'n ignore me? Yo, I am your ex-at least show me some face."
Everyone around the school had gotten wind of the news quickly and they all headed for the hallway, Rishie inclusive. She was astounded at this dude's ability to stir up trouble and attract all kinds of beauties next to him; though who she hadn't expected to see was her cousin, what the hell was she doing here?
And what was with the way Lucas looked at her, maybe they knew each other? And how brazen of him to hold a girl in such a tight embrace! Why did she even care anyway?
Kit stayed unconcerned by any of the thoughts that raced through people's minds.
With every sway of her well-moulded curves, the males' faces turned redder and hotter, some even fanatically fainted on the spot. They were three who fainted though, the cause for their fainting had later been attributed to the poor ventilation of the hallway.
"Hey cuz! Been so fuckin' long..." Kit exclaimed as she stood before Rishie.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Rishie puzzledly asked.
"Isn't that rude of you, dear cousin?"
"I know you're up to no good Kit," Rishie replied.
"Says all perfect Rishie!" Kit sarcastically commented.
Rishie was frustrated by the sudden turn-up of events. She knew Kit fully well. Kit was not only a cause of trouble but she was trouble itself. Wherever she went, hearts broke. Wherever she stayed, love left. She was undoubtedly attention-seeking and limelight ridden.
Lucas wasn't impressed by any of that, rather, he became more and more confused. Then at last he got it, the connection! It had to be it. Then that would explain everything. That was why Rishie was on his case, why her granny had acted cold towards him, they were all in cahoots with Kit, shame on them, they were going to learn of his true colours.
He lifted Lin's chin, stared her directly in the eyes. The atmosphere around them turned incomprehensible. Everyone was astounded by what was to happen next. Their eyes told the whole story. Lust and love flared in the air. His eyes seemed to say, the words,
"I want to love you"
He inched his lips closer to hers. Lin's heart was racing. Then everything around them seemed to disappear, right out of existence. Only the two remained. She panted and couldn't seem to catch her breath. Then their lips met. Their hearts seemed to halt (her heart). The world joined in a tranced pause.
