"what do you mean you know what I am I am nothing" I said pulling back to the couch
"It isn't fun scaring people" she said shivering slightly "Anyway I'll come back at seven in the evening and you can show me the beauty of night" she smiled and dashed past me like a land scared for it's life but in that moment I caught a wiff of her scent not manufactured but natural a scent i remember yet i had never had contact with it before ' its definitely not past life that's for sure' a voice in my head said 'she's before the accident' another said 'what is the accident' I thought carresing my forehead for the potential headache I felt coming.
"I can feel you staring Michael what is it" I voiced out creeped out at what he was staring for
"You really don't remember" he said "The doctor said we give it time but two years is plenty of time to me" he added
"Don't tell me its the I fell from the balcony and hit my head story I hate it the lies are just there for the plucking" I said looking at the ceiling
"No truth is after Joan hurt you, you came home pretending you were okay but I saw your eyes and i knew you weren't fine" he started narrating 'ohh he has it also wow' I thought.
"You tried getting mom and dad's attention but they didn't notice so you went out as you said and I followed you. I saw you space out while you were walking mummuring to your self then breaking off in a fit of laughter at the sky like you were mad with tears falling from your eyes" he paused just in time to catch me staring at him
"Let me guess I was singing why why why why" I said laughing slowly
"No" he answered "you were mummuring bones don't cry with tears in your eyes that you were trying so hard to dry with your sweater then you saw her" he added
"Who" my ears perked 'Danirah' a voice said in my head 'shut up' i thought with other voices resounding in my head
"Danirahs mom" He said with smile on his face "you see she was laying in the middle of the road trying to get up but her legs weren't moving she kept yelling to Danirah to not come save her but you didn't seem like you were listening instead you ran towards her racing with a truck that was heading towards her with a constant stream of tears flowing from your eyes" he stopped to look at me. I managed to connect two and two together but I wanted to hear it from him
"You see I knew you were running to save her from the truck and to save your self from the pain" he said "You manged to reach her and push her out and in that split second you jumped before the truck hit you like a tennis ball to the other side of the road. I reached you in a few seconds yealling for people to call an ambulance and then I heard you sing with a broken voice 'Bones don't cry but they ache each note i play is a new heart break' I started crying knowing you were dying on the inside not physically but emotionally" he stopped looking a bit teary eyed.
'stupid body' i thought 'wanting to live' another voice added.
