[Time skip: One month later]
Keifer's POV
As the sunrise filtered through the curtains, I slowly stirred awake. Jay—my wife—was still asleep, her head resting peacefully on my chest. Her baby bump was much bigger than last month. I didn't know why, but it scared me. She was already nine months pregnant, and I still didn't know her exact delivery date.
Lost in my thoughts, I felt her move.
She opened her eyes.
"Morning," she said sleepily.
I smiled. "Morning, babe."
She smiled back and slowly sat up just as her phone buzzed. I picked it up and handed it to her. It was Freya.
She answered the call.
"Hello," she said, still half asleep.
"Huh? Why are you here?" Jay suddenly said in shock.
"I think Section E is here… okay, fine," she added before hanging up.
"What happened, babe?" I asked.
She turned to me. "Section E is here. They're concerned about us."
"Why are they concerned about us?" I asked.
"Like you don't know," she said. "They don't know when our baby will arrive, so they want to keep an eye on us."
I chuckled softly. Soon after, we both freshened up and went downstairs.
Chaos.
"Good morning, lovebirds," they all said in unison.
Jay rolled her eyes, and I laughed.
"Jay, we brought breakfast 🥞," they said together again.
Her face instantly lit up—of course it did. It was food.
We ate breakfast and later watched Stranger Things. After some time, lunch came and went. Soon after, Percy and Aries arrived.
They walked straight toward Jay.
"Did he make you cry?" they both asked.
Jay looked disgusted.
"Shut up, both of you. He takes care of me so much," she said.
My heart did a stupid flip 💖.
After a while, Percy came over to me.
"Baby Keif, how are you? I missed you so much," Percy said dramatically.
"I asked Aries baby to come here, but he said no," Percy added before hugging me tightly.
"Eww! Percy, fuck off!" I said, shoving him away.
He pouted and walked toward Aries.
"Aries baby, let's go. Keifer betrayed me," Percy said, clinging to Aries's arm.
Everyone burst out laughing 🤣.
Then Cin announced, "Okay guys, let's play Truth or Dare."
Some cheered excitedly, some sighed, and Jay just rolled her eyes.
Soon, all of them sat in a circle in the living room 🔴.
[Cinema Room]
Cin spun the bottle 🍾, and it landed on Yuri.
[It was already evening 🌆]
Cin grinned. "Truth or dare?"
"Truth," Yuri replied calmly.
Cin smirked. "Are you dating someone? 😉"
"Yeah," Yuri answered.
Everyone gasped.
Cin leaned forward. "Who?"
"You said one question," Yuri replied coolly.
Cin sulked before spinning the bottle again. This time, it landed on Percy.
"Truth or dare?" Cin asked.
"Dare," Percy said confidently.
Cin hummed. "Go and kiss Aries 😘."
"Huh! Easy," Percy said. "Baby Aries, come on."
"Eww! Percy, fuck off!" Aries snapped, backing away.
Percy chased him around the coffee table while everyone burst out laughing. Jay—my wife—was laughing so hard her eyes were teary.
After a while, the game settled down and began again.
Cin spun the bottle. It landed on Drew.
"Truth or dare?"
"Dare," Drew replied.
Cin smiled. "Do the chicken dance."
Without hesitation, Drew did it—and everyone burst out laughing.
Once again, Cin spun the bottle. It landed on Eren.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
Cin smirked. "Okay, tell us—how many girlfriends have you had?"
Eren started counting on his fingers… and kept counting. Everyone groaned and moved on.
Cin spun the bottle again.
It landed on me.
"Truth or dare?" Cin asked.
"Dare," I said.
Cin smiled wickedly. "Go and kiss Jay."
I stood up, walked toward Jay, and gently kissed her baby bump. Slowly.
Jay's cheeks turned pink 💗.
"Hey! That's cheating!" everyone shouted in unison.
The game continued for a while longer until—
"Keif," Jay called softly.
I turned toward her and froze. Sweat was dripping down her forehead.
I rushed to her side. "Jay, what happened, babe?"
"I think it's time," she whispered.
Without hesitation, I scooped her up in my arms and rushed toward the car. Section E followed behind us, all panicking.
Me, Jay, Percy, and Aries got into one car.
Aries drove like a maniac.
Jay and I were in the back seat. I held her hand tightly, kissing it over and over.
"Jay, we're here. We're here," I kept saying.
"Don't you dare leave me. Don't you dare leave me."
As soon as we reached the hospital, I didn't care about anything else. I carried Jay inside immediately, my heart pounding as Aries followed close behind.
I didn't wait for anybody else. I just scooped Jay up in my arms and rushed inside. Aries had already informed the doctors that it was an emergency.
Soon, Jay and I were taken straight to the operation theatre.
Her eyes began to droop, slowly closing.
I panicked.
"Jay, don't you dare leave me," I said desperately.
She forced her eyes open just as a nurse approached.
"Sir, you'll have to leave," she said.
I turned to her sharply.
"Don't you dare separate her from me," I roared.
The nurse panicked and nodded.
Hours passed.
Six hours.
Every single hour felt like an eternity.
Jay was screaming, trembling, shouting in pain—but I never let go of her hand.
"Keif… I can't do this," she whispered, shaking.
My heart shattered seeing her like that.
"Yes, you can, babe," I said softly, holding her face.
"Look at me. You're the strongest woman I know. Maybe not for you or for me—but for our baby. You carried our child for nine months. Please, babe… just one push."
She nodded.
Not just any nod—the nod that gave me strength. The nod that said she can.
"I see the head. Just one push," the doctor announced.
I kissed Jay's forehead.
"You're doing so well, babe."
She nodded again and pushed one more time.
Then—
A loud cry filled the room.
"A healthy boy," the nurse announced.
"Mrs. Watson, one more push," the doctor said.
I froze, confused.
"I think they're triplets," the doctor added.
My world stopped.
She carried three of us 💗.
I kissed Jay's forehead again.
"You can do it, babe."
She nodded.
After five minutes, Jay pushed once more.
A loud cry followed.
"A healthy boy," the nurse announced.
Three minutes later, Jay pushed again.
Another cry echoed through the room.
"A healthy boy."
Jay looked completely exhausted.
I kissed her forehead gently.
"You did it, babe."
She nodded, smiling weakly.
"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Watson," the doctor said.
"Thank you," I whispered.
The nurse brought our babies—three tiny bundles wrapped in blue swaddles. Small sticky notes were attached to remember their order: 1, 2, and 3.
Jay smiled as we looked at them.
They were so small… and so perfect 🥺.
Jay held babies one and two, while I held our third.
As I looked down at him, my eyes filled with tears of pure happiness.
To be continued...
