Ian's POV
There was nothing but Darkness until a small faint dim light which seemed far came into my vision. As my mind ran to grab that small light which gave me some hope in this abyss of darkness, a voice came. It was lower than a whisper. Almost as if it was trying to tell something that it was not allowed to.
As my mind ran and ran the voice which was faint became clearer and clearer along with the light becoming larger and larger and as I almost was giving up the voice said something clear and loud "Wake up, Ian!"
The moment I heard the voice, a strange but calm and comforting smell surrounded me. It was the same rough smell which woke me up that day. I could sense that the smell now as seemingly became tender and sweet compared to that day. The comforting aura of the smell made me almost forget who had that same smell.
My land lord!
I slapped my eyes open and as I was trying to figure out what was in my surrounding. I couldn't ignore the fact that there was a man sitting beside me in a black suite. As my vision cleared it was no one other than my land lord.
I tried to sit up wards rather than lying when my land lord who had a very worried expression. But as I tried to get up my hands and back started to hurt and I couldn't move. To make matter's worse my land lord just looked at me and started to smile bit by bit "How are you feeling? Are you alright?" he asked but from his expression it was like he had seen some thing amusing.
I ignored the fact that he was still smiling and just said "Yes, a little..." and just as I thought that things could get worse, a doctor entered.
The doctor's plain expression some how made me worried that some thing could have gone wrong with me. Doctor on the other hand just asked my land lord to go out of the room and my land lord did but with my land lord the scent which comforted me also some how started to decline and before moving out my land lord just said to call him if I felt nauseous.
The moment my land lord was out of the room, the doctor sighed and said "Is he your boy friend?" "Of course, NO!!" was my answer but that some how had doctor's eyes wide open and as if there was some emergency he took out his stethoscope and listened to my heart beat.
Doctor sighed again and said "Listen, you may not know but you are a omega and that man who went out just a while ago may just have marked you." Of course listening to that was as if I was listening to my life getting cut down in half by every word.
"What?????" I asked. Not knowing the things which could have happen to me. Doctor just sighed and said "I know damn well that you are that A.O.B writer who said that he wanted the world to be A.O.B and you should be knowing these thing even better then I know in this current situation. That alpha has given you pheromones for more then one time and right now you are covered in his scent."
It was obvious that there was some thing wrong. "But... He is my land lord!" I said to the doctor. "Land lord or not doesn't matter! If you two are not included in any romantic relationship then this marking is not a good thing. Talk to him. If he is interested in you then what is the matter? you just a writer any ways and on top of that he seemed plenty rich."
Hearing doctor's words just shoot arrows inside me. Of course, the whole world knows me to the point that the doctor is saying that I know better then him. Even before I could process all the things that doctor said. The doctor got up to leave and said one final thing "See, since you are just turning into a omega you body is changing and this change might take a 6 weeks or some thing to complete. So, it is advised for you to stay in this hospital and also don't leave your bed since if you do then who knows some one will come charging at you and I believe you know why."
Doctor's remark just left me more scared and of course I know why. How could I not know when the whole world is turning up on me just because of that idiotic statement? I sighed as I thought that the world is now no less then a hell for me.
And just as I was going to pick up my phone which was slacking off in the corner, my land lord entered. He was still having that faint smile on his face which had when he saw me struggling to sit up. "Sorry for causing you trouble, Mr. Richardson" I said while windrowing my hand from taking my phone. My land lord sat beside me on the same chair that the doctor sat.
After he sat down beside me I could smell the same calm and comforting smell of strawberries yet again. His smile widen as he said "You have some thing to talk about with me?" "Yes..." I replied. My mind was still thinking what to say next like how could I just straight up say 'Why did you mark me?' or 'Want to become my boy friend?'.
After 10 minutes of the awkward silence. His smile faded a little bit when he said "Did the doctor tell you some thing?" I was NOT mentally prepared at that time to really say any thing but then again if I didn't say right now then when should I? "Uhm..... Mr. Richardson....." I said still thinking if there is some other way to phare the questions. "I heard...that.... You marked me?"
I FAINALLY SAID IT!
I thought but his reaction was almost as if he didn't even know what marking is. My land lord was practically confused about what I said. I could see him physically struggling to remember if doctor said any thing about some thing like marking. "You...Mr. Richardson... Are you aware that leaving your pheromones on some one more then 2 times cause the person to be marked by you. And to make matters worse I am a omega. That means there is a possibility that I might just get pregnant if that mark stays long plus even the doctor is asking me if you were my boy friend and I don't want such a misunderstanding about our relationship."
Even though my land lord's face was confused more then half of the time while I was telling him, he seemed very amused when I got to the boy friend part.
"Well, I guess..." He said "I guess what?" I asked. He put on a sweet smile and said
"If I marked you already. Why don't we just start dating?"
