Nadu slid the registration sheet back to the group.
Leon, Valeria, and Tsukihi sat on the other side of the desk, with Rika standing beside them as the representative of Rose Thorns.
"First, Tsukihi is a Tier 1 hunter and should belong to Rose Thorns, not their Tier 5 subsidiary party."
"I'll learn a new class and won't use..."
"No."
Nadu cut Tsukihi off before she could finish.
"Second. Valeria is currently Tier 4, so you could party with Leon. But as for Celestine, she is the Kingdom's Golden Princess and currently under lockdown due to her affliction."
Valeria moved her chair closer to Leon's side.
"That's understandable. Would parties of two be allowed?"
"No."
"...Three?"
"We recommend a minimum of 4 but 3 is allowed in certain situations."
"Master Nadu, I know Celestine is not here right now, but with me around, she'll never starve or go into starvation mode. She should be allowed in public..."
"It's not a matter of public safety. Valeria and Tsukihi are enough problems. It's a matter of politics. Need I remind you that this is a closely guarded secret?"
"I guess that's a fair point..."
Not to mention we don't even know if Celestine would keep her Essence attribute once she turned back into a human. Probably not worth her becoming a hunter.
"Third, you're not calling yourselves 'Leon's Wives.'"
Everyone looked at the sheet before they slowly turned toward Tsukihi.
"..."
"Guess the illusion spell timed out... What? Is it wrong? We're all going to marry you! I don't see why I'm the only one who likes this name!"
"Tsukihi. I can't be in a party called "Leon's Wives" when I'm in the party. I'm the Leon."
"Okay! 'Leon and His Wives'. It's much better! See? I can compromise. You all should too!'

"What's the problem, old man? It's not like you got much time left alive to worry about any consequences coming back to bite you."
Rika's harsh words silenced the group.
I forgot Rika hated men. I'd been surrounded by women in the mansion because of Celestine, so the only man I'd really seen Rika interact with was me, but she's just as harsh as Cersei.
Nadu's expression didn't change. He was used to dealing with the problem party that was Rose Thorns.
Yet he didn't respond immediately.
"Always a pleasure, Rika. While you are from one of our strongest parties, the guild still has rules."
"Lies too. None of those reasons are valid. Tier gaps, stupid names, nobles becoming hunters, or using fake identities. All of those haven't stopped other parties."
The room went quiet, Nadu once again not responding immediately.
Wait. Has Nadu been lying about something?
"So what's the real reason? It's because of Leon isn't it."
Nadu looked less like a Guild Master and more like an old man who was tired of keeping a secret.
"Yes it's because of Leon."
"Wait actually? What did I do?"
Nadu looked at Leon's surprise with exhaustion.
"I undervalued you during our initial meeting. I knew of the power you offered to certain monsters, and of how high your Vitality Stats is, but I didn't act with the appropriate caution."
"So you treated Farm boy like a farm boy. That's not reason enough."
"Leon isn't a hunter with a high stat. The other guild masters are referring to him as a national level asset."
"The other guild masters?'
"Yes of Greenmere, Asuhei, Metra'ku and Zaxera. The other four kingdoms in the Federation"
That sounded way more important than I was expecting.
"I knew that. But this is all because I helped defeat Estakocra? But it didn't even raise my hunter tier?"
"Because of everything."
Nadu leaned back against the chair.
"Your Vitality is absurd. You survived a 7th level spell unharmed. Swimmed in lava and breathed its toxic fumes. All after having your Vitality lowered due to prolonged combat with a Imp at the rank of captain in Nykthos' army. If I needed to kill you, those would've been the best conditions."
Yeah I feel like we already kinda discovered that I have the stereotypical 'unconventional Isekai over powered ability'...
Leon looked at Valeria and Tsukihi beside him.
It's still of more use to everyone else than me but my new life has been going pretty great for me because of it.
"Yeah my Vitality is great, but this was all in my report already. I literally just finished up days of paperwork yesterday."
"Yes and I've been in constant meetings since. Ignoring your survivability, considering how quickly you came across 3 of the very monsters that feed on humans. How long till more come? Nykthos' army is filled with Demons and Demiurges and now they know of you. What if the vampires find out too"
Nadu eyes shifted from Leon to Valeria.
"They would go to war... Leon wouldn't just be an end to food shortages, but an endless supply of blood."
"Exactly. How long till you drink enough blood to have more than an Elder Vampire? Till you have more than any vampire ever? Till Celestine has more essence than the succubus that captured her. And of course Tsukihi, is already a tri-class 6th level caster who can have an endless stockpile of mana thanks to Leon."
"You're wasting time with the details we already know. Are you hoping your age will get to you before you have to answer?"
Nadu took another moment before responding.
"Leon is to be classified as a national level asset and must be constantly watched. He can't leave the city to go hunting. He should be treated as a legendary magic item, not a person."
Tsukihi and Valeria started yelling at Nadu.
The Queen's spies finally started giving me some privacy! My little freedom has gone so quickly...
"Let me finish! The guild masters are currently talking with their respective nobles and generals. After that, they'll make their way here to meet with Leon."
More outbursts from Tsukihi and Valeria. Until Leon interrupted them.
"So if I need to be constantly watched, I assume that means you have time to train me?"
