Chapter 367 - Chapter 367: Karate VS Jeet Kune Do

The sunlight was perfect, and his body was in peak condition, but a man must never forget his original intentions.

Yuu Hoshimiya planned to drive home and spend some quiet, leisurely time.

But halfway there, he heard a familiar voice.

"Yoo-hoo! Ran, your driving skills are amazing! Go faster, go faster!"

It was Sonoko's voice.

In the red Ford Mustang up ahead, the driver was indeed Ran Mouri, with Masumi Sera in the passenger seat.

The sports car only had two seats; Sonoko was sitting in the back, letting herself go as her schoolbag flapped wildly in the wind.

Yuu raised an eyebrow, stepped on the gas, and gave chase.

The black Lexus was like a roaring beast, moving with incredible speed.

Other vehicles on the road quickly got out of the way to let the Lexus pass.

Before long, Yuu caught up with the red supercar; both vehicles were going about 150 kilometers per hour.

On a normal road, this speed was considered ridiculous, but this was the Conan world.

One could only say it was rare, but not exactly world-shaking.

Ran saw the familiar car and instinctively looked at the driver's seat, then spoke with pleasant surprise, "Brother Yuu, what are you doing here?"

In her excitement, she forgot that at such speeds, even if the cars were side-by-side, no one could hear her.

Fortunately, Yuu was no ordinary person.

He heard her but couldn't respond normally because Ran couldn't hear him.

After having Noah dial Ran's phone, Yuu finally replied, "I was planning to head home when I ran into you guys. Where are you going, driving so fast?"

"To the martial arts dojo at Sonoko's place! Brother Yuu, let's race to see who gets there first!"

The dojo at Sonoko's place was actually the Suzuki Manor, Yuu's private training ground.

With that, Ran floored the Mustang's accelerator, and the car surged forward, the speedometer needle climbing toward 200.

Sonoko was so terrified she immediately hugged the seat in front of her.

Yuu wasn't too worried about Ran driving that fast.

She was essentially a cheat-level protagonist, and under the effects of dual cultivation, her reaction speed was far beyond that of a normal person; a car crash was impossible.

However, he couldn't just let himself be defeated by his girlfriend, so Yuu also floored the accelerator of his modified Lexus, and his speed soared even more ridiculously.

Drifting, overtaking, jumping curbs, and even driving the car briefly along a wall to overtake at an angle—a series of "Conan-logic" driving skills were displayed, instantly bypassing Ran's supercar.

Masumi Sera and Sonoko were both left gaping in shock.

How can a car even be driven like that? That's too much show-boating!!!

Ten minutes later, the Ford Mustang arrived in front of the martial arts dojo at the Suzuki Manor.

The three beautiful girls got out of the car one by one and immediately saw Yuu standing at the entrance, smiling as he waited for them.

Seeing that silhouetted figure in the sunset, with the warm light reflecting off his handsome profile...

Masumi Sera's face actually began to blush.

Usually a tomboy, this was the first time she felt a strange sensation toward the opposite sex.

Sonoko, however, had already lunged forward in a fit of infatuation, her eyes full of hearts.

She clung to Yuu's arm and said, "Teacher Hoshimiya, you're so amazing! How can a car go that fast? I want to ride with you and go for a drive!"

"Ideally just the two of us, driving into the deep mountains and forests, and then..."

Before she could finish, Ran grabbed the back of Sonoko's collar and started dragging her toward the dojo.

Sonoko clutched at the collar around her neck, struggling to speak, "Cough, cough... Ran, let go, you're going to strangle me."

Sonoko finally managed to unbutton two buttons on her school uniform collar so she could breathe again.

Sonoko's daily fits of madness were always followed by Ran's daily discipline.

Yuu and Masumi Sera followed the two into the dojo, which was pristine and white, without a speck of dust.

Regardless of whether it was being used, maids performed cleaning and maintenance here every day.

Ran stretched her limbs. "My training has been a bit lax lately. I even lost to Kazumi-senpai during a match at school today."

"Kazumi-senpai's skills have become much more formidable, Brother Yuu."

As she said this, Ran rubbed her shoulder against Yuu's chest, her large eyes glancing over with clear implication.

Yuu gave a helpless smile; Kazumi Tsukamoto truly was a martial arts fanatic. Every time they met, she would insist on sparring with him and asking for technical advice.

Even after Yuu fucked her until her whole body was limp and paralyzed, Kazumi wouldn't miss a chance to improve her strength.

Regarding this top disciple—his only disciple—Yuu was truly at a loss.

He couldn't exactly fuck her to death or leave her unconscious every single time!

Ran wasn't as obsessed with power; while her physical stats were far higher than Kazumi's, her progress in technique and actual combat was much slower.

In a regulated Karate match, it was normal for her to lose to Kazumi, who was already slightly superior in skill.

Yuu didn't want to have to act as a Karate coach before or after having SEX with Ran in the future.

He put an arm around the girl's soft shoulder. "Ran, don't compare yourself to Kazumi. In terms of true power, Kazumi definitely can't match you."

"By the way, what brought the three of you to the dojo so suddenly today?"

Ran rolled her eyes at Yuu, knowing he was changing the subject.

However, she didn't expose Yuu's little scheme.

She liked Karate and the feeling of working hard to improve herself, but she really hadn't reached Kazumi's level of obsession.

Moreover, she believed that if she insisted, Yuu would definitely support, teach, and train her without reservation.

Just then, Sonoko, hearing Yuu's words, jumped out and said excitedly, "Teacher Hoshimiya, Ran and Masumi were planning to have a match! They were arguing non-stop about it back at school."

"I want to know which is stronger: Jeet Kune Do or Karate!"

Hearing this, the usually gentle Ran immediately became full of fighting spirit and pulled Masumi Sera toward the locker room in the back.

As for the skipped classes, unlicensed driving, speeding, and where the sports car came from...

No one present cared.

Sonoko and Ran were part of the top elite class, and the seemingly ordinary Masumi Sera was actually quite the daredevil herself. At a young age, she was already caught in the vortex of the Black Organization, FBI, and MI6.

Furthermore, as a high school detective, she, like Conan, often engaged in illegal activities while solving cases.

Seeing the two leave, Sonoko leaned in again, sandwiching Yuu's arm between her increasingly full and heavy breasts.

"Teacher Hoshimiya, your drifting earlier was so cool! I want to learn too. Can you teach me?"

Yuu tapped her on the head and shook his head in refusal. "Sonoko, everyone is different. Stop thinking about drag racing."

Sonoko's physical stats and reaction speed were now far beyond those of ordinary people; long-term dual cultivation wasn't for nothing.

But as for high-speed racing and drifting—forget it.

Sonoko simply didn't have the talent; she was the definition of a dangerous female driver.

If he actually taught her to race, he wouldn't just be gambling with her life, but with the lives of others as well.

Sonoko was relentless, constantly acting spoiled and using her charms, trying to persuade or "sleep-suade" Yuu.

Yuu remained unmoved; he had already thoroughly enjoyed the three women of the Suzuki family.

Mother, daughter, and threesomes were all routine to him now. How could Sonoko alone shake his resolve!

Seeing Ran and Masumi Sera emerge after changing, Sonoko could only reluctantly release Yuu's arm, no longer mentioning the racing.

Yuu was only scolding her; if Ran found out, she would truly give Sonoko a "lesson" to make her abandon that dangerous idea for good.

A wise person knows when to yield, and she didn't want to be put in a chokehold by Ran again.

Sonoko changed the subject and asked, "Teacher Hoshimiya, do you think Jeet Kune Do or Karate is stronger?"

"There are no superior martial arts in this world, only superior martial artists."

Yuu shrugged and explained, "Different people produce different results. Therefore, it's unwise to insist on ranking Jeet Kune Do against Karate."

"Oh!"

In Yuu's expert opinion, after his "instruction," Ran's strength had long since surpassed that of ordinary people.

Aside from human monsters like Makoto Kyogoku or Kazumi Tsukamoto—whose physical stats were also superhuman but whose techniques were more refined—no one should be her match.

This duel should have been a foregone conclusion; based on physical stats alone, Ran could easily crush Masumi Sera.

However, the reality surprised Yuu slightly.

In the beginning, Ran was actually on the defensive. Masumi Sera's continuous aggressive attacks were quite effective, and her mastery of Jeet Kune Do's "anticipating the enemy" was flawless.

Yuu's eyes narrowed as he spotted the reason.

Masumi Sera's fists had likely seen blood. Her experience in life-or-death combat was extensive. When she fell into a disadvantage, her counterattacks were sharp and even lethal, completely focused on trading injuries for a kill.

Ran, naturally, didn't want a death match. She constantly changed her moves and pulled back, which in turn pushed her into a disadvantage.

Looking at Masumi Sera's fierce offensive and determined eyes on the dojo floor, it seemed this girl had suffered quite a bit. No wonder she was so tomboyish.

After all, she had to protect her mother all by herself; she had to be tough.

Sonoko, watching from below, couldn't follow the technical details. She just saw the two of them flying and falling, which looked spectacular, so she cheered loudly.

"Ran! What are you doing? Get it together! Beat Sera into a pulp so she doesn't try to steal my man!"

This cheering made the two women competing, as well as Yuu, roll their eyes.

However, Sonoko's encouragement was effective. Once Ran adapted to Sera's offensive, she relied on her superior physical speed and reaction time to quickly turn the tide.

Before long, Masumi Sera was struggling to defend, with fine sweat breaking out on her forehead.

Faced with Ran's relentless assault, she gradually lost the strength to counterattack and finally spoke up, "Stop, stop! I give up."

"Whoa, Ran, where did you get all that strength? My arms are all red from your kicks."

Masumi Sera rolled up her sleeves; sure enough, her arms were completely flushed.

Ran apologized sheepishly, "Sorry, I didn't control my power well. I just haven't had a matching opponent in a while and got a bit too excited."

Masumi Sera looked indignant. "Even though I lost to you, it doesn't mean Jeet Kune Do is weaker than Karate."

"My Jeet Kune Do was taught to me by my eldest brother. His fists are more than three times stronger than mine."

"What a coincidence. My Karate was taught to me by Brother Yuu, and his fists are more than three times stronger than that too," Ran replied with a smile.

Masumi Sera turned to look at Yuu nearby, a smile curling on her lips as she whispered, "In that case, that's just perfect!"

"What? Sera, what did you say?"

"Nothing. Ran, let me borrow Teacher Hoshimiya for a moment. I have something I want to talk to him about."

Masumi Sera stepped off the training mat and pulled Yuu toward a corner.

Yuu feigned a look of confusion. "Sera, what's going on? You aren't planning to ask for martial arts lessons, are you?"

Masumi Sera shook her head.

"No, Consultant Hoshimiya. I wanted to ask when you're free. Could we meet at the Haido Hotel, in my room?"

Behind them, Sonoko, who had been stealthily creeping up to eavesdrop, heard this and, never one to pass up a bit of drama, immediately turned and shouted:

"Ran! Sera wants to invite Teacher Hoshimiya to a hotel room!"

Ran's face went from confusion to surprise. She knew for a fact that Yuu hadn't made a move on Masumi Sera yet.

This was entirely a case of this new friend throwing herself at him.

"Brother Yuu..." Ran adopted the poise of the main wife and sighed, "Your charm is really getting out of hand. Masumi has been captivated after only meeting you twice!"

"Hey, hey, Ran! Your double standard is way too obvious!"

Sonoko shouted indignantly, "We all serve Teacher Hoshimiya together all the time and you still scold me, yet Sera isn't even one of us yet—why aren't you stopping her!"

Masumi Sera, of course, already knew about Yuu's womanizing ways.

She was a bit surprised, but having spent years in various dark circles, she just took it in stride and accepted it quickly.

Masumi Sera hurriedly waved her hands. "Sonoko, you've got it all wrong!"

She wanted to explain, but since the matter was too significant and she didn't want to involve Ran and Sonoko, she couldn't clear things up.

Interrupted by Sonoko, the matter of Sera inviting Yuu to the hotel was dropped.

On the way home, Masumi Sera pulled up her sleeves.

The purple bruises on her arms from the match had all vanished. Both arms were back to their pristine white color and weren't sore at all.

She was incredibly startled by this. She was very familiar with that kind of injury; it usually took at least a night's rest to recover.

Strange! Very strange!

This was, of course, due to Yuu secretly using recovery magic.

He had no intention of letting this cute girl with the snaggletooth go; this was just a small "perk" for someone he already considered his own.

As for her mother, Mary Akai, Yuu was even more determined to get her.

Whether to advance the research of the APTX drug or out of pure desire, he had to contract Mary Akai—the woman who could switch between a sexy, busty mature wife and a virgin, blonde, flat-chested middle schooler.

Masumi Sera made a mental note of the occurrence but didn't overthink it further.

After saying goodbye to Sonoko, she called a cab and headed toward the Haido Hotel.

Sonoko also quickly forgot the incident. She had just been having one of her daily episodes and didn't actually care what Yuu and Masumi Sera did.

Yuu had so many beautiful confidantes; would one more flat-chested girl with a snaggletooth make a difference?

Inside the dojo, Ran changed back into her own clothes and got into the Lexus with Yuu to return to their home in the tower apartment.

It was just after four o'clock, time to pick up some ingredients on the way to cook dinner at home.

Sonoko had someone drive her red supercar away and followed them, intending to score a meal—and if possible, score another hard fucking.

Even though Yuu never left her hungry—in fact, she was pumped so full she could barely take it almost every day—she still wanted more.

No matter how many times Yuu fucked her, it was never enough!

The leisurely day didn't end perfectly. After a hard night's labor, Yuu decided to go to work at the MPD the next morning.

If he wasn't "on" a job, he was "on" a woman.

Whether it was working or fucking, doing it as a mandatory task eventually got tiring.

Compared to getting tired of women, he felt it was better to get tired of work.

After a day on the job and a good dinner at home, Yuu drove Ran and Eri Kisaki to meet Ruri Ujijo as planned.

Originally, he had intended to go alone, but Ran really wanted to meet the popular "healing ballad" diva once she found out.

Eri Kisaki happened to be free as well, so she decided to come along and see her former classmate.

The filming location for Ruri Ujijo's drama was a villa at the foot of Mount Fuji.

The moment Yuu's car arrived, he saw the crew from Nichiuri TV.

Once this mystery short was filmed, it would be broadcast on television.

Shortly after getting out of the car, Yuu received a call from Ruri Ujijo.

"Yuu-kun, have you arrived yet?"

"I'm here. What is it, Miss Ujijo?"

"Could you do me a favor? My car has a flat tire and I might be a bit late!"

"There's an intro that needs to be recorded first. Can you record it for me? I've already spoken to the director. You just need to read the lines. Please!"

Hearing this, Yuu felt a bit troubled.

He had planned to just be a spectator, but now he had to participate in the recording.

Ran, standing beside him, quickly spoke up, "Brother Yuu, just help her out. You're so handsome and have so many fans; it'll definitely attract a lot of viewers."

Since Ran asked, Yuu naturally had no reason to refuse such a small request.

Seeing that he agreed, Ruri Ujijo thanked him repeatedly over the phone.

Yuu and the two women walked toward the production crew.

Soon, the director—a man with a small mustache—hurried over to meet them.

Upon seeing Yuu, he first offered a respectful bow and then shook Yuu's hand enthusiastically.

"Consultant Hoshimiya! I am a loyal fan of your deductions! I've written many scripts based on your cases."

"I never expected Miss Ujijo to have the connections to invite you here. It's such an honor. If you wouldn't mind, perhaps you could guest star in today's shoot?"

The mustachioed director's eyes were full of anticipation.

Yuu was just about to refuse.

Just then, a man with spiky hair nearby named Yoshiteru Kazama spoke up.

"Director, you must be joking. There are only five roles in this drama."

"Aside from the mother playing the widow, that incredibly slutty daughter, the aging butler, and the murder victim, there's only the detective. Where is there a role for a guest star?"

Yoshiteru Kazama flicked open a lighter, lit a cigarette, and blew a puff of smoke toward the sky with a cocky air, looking like a total thug.

Surprisingly, even when the actor spoke like that, the director didn't dare talk back.

At this point, an actress with short yellow hair—Kasumi Namihara—spoke up, "How can you say that? What do you mean 'incredibly slutty daughter'?"

Kazama bit down on his cigarette filter and spoke slurringly, "My bad. I meant only you could pull off that slutty vibe so well. You look just like a hooker. I was complimenting you!"

Kasumi Namihara snapped, "Dammit, I'm just doing my job and playing the character well."

Kazama turned away, ignoring her.

Nearby, Akira Nagumo, a man with graying hair wearing a black suit, said, "Kazama-kun, I'm only sixty years old. How can you say I'm 'aging'?"

"Sorry, my eyes must be failing me. You act like an old man in his eighties or nineties. Saying you're 'aging' is an understatement; you've already got one foot in the grave, hahaha!"

The spiky-haired man laughed smugly.

"You..."

Nobuharu Nagumo, the man playing the victim, stepped over and held back Akira Nagumo, who looked ready to get physical.

"Dad, don't be angry. Kazama, you should calm down too. No one is stealing your role. Let's not make things unpleasant before we even start filming!"

Yoshiteru Kazama let out a huff and walked away.

Yuu watched this scene with a smile. He knew with absolute certainty that this guy was the one marked for death today.

A man with such a foul mouth would never see tomorrow's sun in the Conan world.

Even knowing this, Yuu didn't want to change anything.

This man named Kazama purely deserved to be killed.

Yuu was always very forgiving toward dead men.

Ignoring the jerk's comments, he said to the director, "Director, I was only invited to watch. At most, I'll help film the intro. Forget about the guest role."

Yoshiteru Kazama, with his back turned, sneered, "Hypocrite!"

Yuu had intended to ignore the guy, but he insisted on courting death.

Pale blue magic surged through Yuu's body. An invisible ball of air gathered in his palm and then floated toward Kazama's knee.

Then it exploded.

The powerful force made Kazama's knee buckle, and he instantly slammed onto the ground face-first in a full-body prostration before everyone.

Seeing the foul-mouthed jerk make such a fool of himself, the crowd couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Kazama scrambled up, his face red with shame as he began to berate the stagehands, blaming his fall on the uneven ground.

He kept calling for the makeup artist to check if his face was injured or if his makeup needed touching up, causing another round of chaos!

The mustachioed director spoke apologetically, "Consultant Hoshimiya, please don't take him seriously. His father is the investor for this drama. Please bear with him, bear with him!"

Yuu, naturally, wouldn't hold a grudge against a dead man.

"It's fine, Director. When are we filming the intro?"

"Right now, Consultant Hoshimiya. Here are the opening lines you'll need to say!"

After handing a sheet of paper to Yuu, the director began organizing the crew.
