Irina's POV
Lloyd looked like someone had dumped ice water over his head—after all this time, the remorse he'd been carrying for Wolfe turned out to be nothing but an elaborate con orchestrated by Wolfe and Drew.
Wilson's lips twisted into a cruel smile. "How's it feel now, Lloyd? This is your precious 'benefactor.'" He practically spat the last word.
Lloyd was mentally kicking himself. All he wanted was to get as far away from those two as possible. "It's all been a huge mistake," he blurted. "I hardly even know them."
Wilson cocked an eyebrow. "Then I'll just finish him off." He lifted his blade, preparing to strike, his gaze cold and merciless.
I tapped my earring, cutting the livestream at the perfect moment, my grin spreading wider. Wilson's absolutely ruthless. I love that about him.
Suzanne moved forward, her face grave. "Sir, Wolfe's committed serious crimes and needs to face justice. Please turn him over to me so I can bring him in."
