Chapter 10 - THE WAR OF BLOOD AND PACK

Carved on the Sun-Bound Pillars

Before silence fell upon the old world,

before treaties and seals,

there was a war that the Sun itself watched.

The war between Vampires and Werewolves.

____

THE CAUSE OF THE WAR

Vampires were born of hunger.

Werewolves were born of loyalty.

Both were created by humans —

and both outgrew their creators.

The Sun Tablets say:

"Blood wished to rule.

Pack wished to protect.

Neither would kneel."

Vampires saw humans as vessels.

Werewolves saw humans as family.

Their paths could not coexist.

THE FIRST BLOOD MOON

The war began on the first Blood Moon.

Vampires hunted a forest village under moonlight.

A Pack Guardian answered the screams.

Claws met fangs.

Silver met shadow.

The ground drank blood that night —

and remembered.

HOW THEY FOUGHT

Vampires

Struck at night

Used charm and memory-bending

Turned humans into weapons

Healed through blood

Werewolves

Fought as packs

Protected territory, not conquest

Feared silver, but endured it

Grew stronger under the moon

The Sun Tablets record:

"Where one vampire fought alone,

five wolves answered together."

THE NIGHT OF BROKEN MOONS

The greatest battle came when both forces met beneath twin moons.

The vampires attempted to enslave a pack by binding their Alpha.

The wolves answered by tearing down an entire Blood Court.

That night:

A vampire king was torn apart

Three pack alphas fell

The moon was hidden by smoke and ash

This night became known as

The Night of Broken Moons.

THE SUN HUMAN INTERVENTION

Seeing the world tearing itself apart,

the First Sun Humans intervened.

They brought silver and fire.

They carved laws into stone.

They declared:

"Neither Blood nor Pack shall rule the world."

Using Sun magic, they forced both sides to retreat.

Vampires were driven into shadow.

Werewolves into forests and mountains.

THE BLOOD–PACK ACCORD

Before the final sealing, a pact was made.

Carved in deep runes, it states:

"The Pack shall not hunt the Blood without cause."

"The Blood shall not hunt humans under the Pack's moon."

"If one breaks the accord,

the Sun will remember."

This pact did not bring peace.

It brought distance.

THE END THAT NEVER ENDED-

__The war did not truly end.

It was paused.

The Sun Pillars end with these words:

"When Blood grows bold again,

the Pack will rise."

"When the Pack howls as one,

Blood will answer."

"This war sleeps,

but it does not die."
