Midnight
A loud banging on the door wakes Arjun.
He sits up, confused.
All his dorm mates are already awake and standing near the door.
The door is open — and a boy from the next room, Max, stands there trembling.
Max (terrified): "Please… save me!"
Ahmad: "Is he still there?"
Max: "Yes! I locked him inside. He was just like the boy from the morning… his eyes were red, and he tried to bite me after biting my roommate!"
Roommate 1: "Did you tell the coach?"
Max: "I did — he's coming. But please let me stay here. I don't want to go back there. Please…"
(He's shaking with fear.)
Arjun: "What is happening…?"
Ahmad: "Just sleep. The issue will get solved. He's staying here tonight."
Arjun: "What…?"
Arjun climbed down from his bunk bed, curious.
Ahmad: "I said it's fine. Just sleep."
Arjun: "Can I see your roommates?"
Max (shocked): "They're all crazy! Are you insane?!"
Arjun: "Just once."
(The others exchange glances. They never expected Arjun to act so foolish.)
Max: "Fine… but if you're doing this, can I stay here?"
Arjun: "Of course. Take my bed."
(Max looks nervously at his dorm door — silent now, blocked with a wiper.
Arjun walks toward it, removes the wiper, and slowly opens the door.
He peeks inside. Nothing visible — just scattered belongings like bags , clothes, a pack of energy gummy near door ,etc etc and blood stains.)
Arjun: "Looks like no one's in there…"
Max: "What?!"
Suddenly, a hand grabs the door from the corner — red eyes gleaming in the darkness.
Arjun immediately hits the hand with the wiper.
Everyone panics and rushes to help him slam the door shut.
Max: "I told you they were in there!"
Ahmad: "Superman! Hit him harder! Before they break out!"
(Inside, the infected athletes slam their bodies against the door repeatedly.
The boys manage to shut it, but the banging continues, and blood smears appear on the door edges.)
Roommate 1: "Are they animals?!"
Ahmad: "Did you SEE that eye?! Bro, I almost fainted! Max, come in — you're welcome. I wouldn't go back either!"
Max: "Thank you…"
Arjun: "This is not normal at all…"
(He stares at the blood on the wiper and throws it aside. Then he returns to his own dorm.)
Max: "I heard this disease is spreading in the girls' dorm too. The tournament in-charges are planning to cancel the event after tomorrow's match."
All: "WHAT?!" (shocked)
Ahmad: "They're cancelling the tournament?!"
Max: "Yes. My coach said the state government ordered it. Too many infected athletes and coaches are appearing."
Roommate 1: "Coaches too?!"
Arjun: "Yes. Don't you know? The shooting coach who got bitten… he turned like them. Maybe it's some kind of rabies—but deadly."
Ahmad: "Human rabies…?" (confused)
Max: "Who knows. But tomorrow's match will decide everything. There won't be a third round."
