"Am I really a home to you....?"He asked
"yes, you are my home ." She replied
Tears shedded from her eyes as she rememberd all this while looking into the mirror, remembering all the memories she made with him..
Then she opened all their chats and started staring at the chats.
"It was all started with hello and ended without a bye." staring at the chats she said to herself while crying...
"The sunset Is beautiful isn't it."she broke down in tears after saying this.
After some time she got a little calm down ...remembering all the compliments he gave to her.
"You said once thank you for existing.. now you are the reason I am questioning my existence."
she cried while saying this and slept while crying on her bed.
Next day...she woke up and picked her phone as soon as she realized she would no longer receive that good morning text... again her eyes filled with tears.
she took a deep breathe and went to washroom got ready. as her holidays were going on she was not allowed to go out of her home as her parents were strict.
Her mom knocked the door and came inside her room and said "baby! Why haven't you eaten something since yesterday.. I have prepared your favorite pancakes."
she didn't answered while sitting on her bed staring at her mother.
Her mother shouted "Radhika! Radhika!..while holding her hand."
she said , "mama.. I am not hungry now ,I would eat later."
Her mother closed the door in anger and left her alone while shouting
"you are so stupid..I have been preparing those pancakes since morning.. you don't value your mother." unaware of the situation what her daughter is going through.
She took and deep breath but again broke down in tears while sitting on the floor hugging a pillow.
Almost after half an hour she got a little calm down.she had a very bad headache.
Her father opened the door of the room and said
"why aren't you coming outside the room?What happened to you? You don't even do anything...How can you be this depressed?"
"You know you are a burden to me.. I don't care.. I would not even get your salary..You would got marry later.your husband would took that all money.I am just doing it all and paying your fees due to this society.. If I would not do either everyone would say I am bad father."
After a pause he again started shouting
"Am I a bad father? I'm paying your fees, giving you food to eat."
He left the room and closed the door in anger while she was staring at the door and her hands were trembling.No one even came to her room to comfort her.
After sometime she found herself sleeping on the floor as she woke up.
It was 1 am at night, she woke up sat down on her bed. She had to go to meet her friend the next day.She lay down on her bed while staring at the door.She fall asleep after some time as she was so tired..
In the morning.. she woke up while hearing the loud voices of her parents. They both were fighting...she woke up went outside her room heard her father saying..
"I wish that girl was never born or I could get rid of her..if she was never born I would have left you(her mother) and would never see you again .."
Her mother was crying while listening this all..when she saw her she started shouting at her..
"This is all because you are born..Get lost from here.."
she went back to her room again.. asked to herself while staring at the mirror..
"Am I that bad?Do I deserve this?"
Her eyes filled with tears and she wiped her tears went to get ready to meet her friends but then saw a text from her friend Riya.
"Hey Radhika...I am sorry we can't meet today. I have some other plans with my parents.. I am sorry.. bye "
As she saw her message she smiled and again sat on her bed and started staring at the ceiling..
Then her phone rang up.. it was a call from the university she would be joining from next week. They guided her about the timings and the venue. After the call she went to kitchen as she hasn't eaten properly from two days..
It's night again..her father arrived when he saw that she is still in her room. He again started shouting.
she came out of her room told him that her university would be starting from next week..
he said "fine! Finally we would get rid of you for sometime".
she smiled with teary eyes..her mother asked her to sit down with them for dinner.. she didn't wanted that but still she sat with them.
After some time...she saw a text from him.
she got flashbacks even it was just a hello from him..
"Am I a home or shelter to you?"
He laughed..and said "No I know you are going to use a pickup line."
she asked him to say yes or no.
He said "yes.. you are my home here..no matter wherever I went during day but at the end of the day it's only you where I find my peace everyday."
She smiled and said "really."
He said "yes,it's true."
she confessed how she feels when she talks to him.
(This was all a flashback)
Then she was disturbed by another notification's sound ..it was another text from him:
"How are you."
she replied "yeah I am okay.. and you?"
he also replied.. "I am okay."
she sent "okay."
He left that message on seen.
That conversation ended without starting ,thinking about the conversations they used to do.she felt so bad..
Her pov..
Maybe I am irritating him.He lost his interest in talking with me.He changed a lot. He don't care about me now.I have to finish this all now...it's hurting me a lot now.I want to leave him but i can't.. how could I but I want to..
His pov....
Maybe she needs some alone time for healing from something happend between them . she should not be dependent on me for everything .I can't be there for her forever.I am going through many things now...my past is haunting me everyday I have to do this all alone.. I can't make her more sad by giving all these traumas, we can't be together..I want to talk but I can't.. i don't know what to do..
After one week...
it was her first day at the university..
she woke up early ..got ready and went there.
while she was walking through campus she met her friend who was her classmate in school.She talked with her friend for sometime.. and her friend Priya said. "Radhika!!! You are looking so cute today."
she smiled and they both went to their classes.
(she was wearing a white colored dress with floral pattern and her hair were tied in a cute ponytail. She was not so tall and looked a little chubby for which she was also a little Insecure)
she attended her class..while she was coming out of her class she saw him and stared at him.
he said.. "HI Radhika.. how are you?"She controlled herself and said
"I am good and what about you Ayush."
he said "I am fine."
Then after being silent for two minutes they both left to different paths
Her thoughts:
He had changed a lot...
firstly he treated me like I am someone special and now he said we are just friends and just ignoring me as much as he can.. how can he? I am not goona talk to him now..He can also make effort to start that conversation..
why would I..why always I.. am I a toy?that he can play when he wants and throw me when he don't need me..why should I?
While thinking all this she went to her room .. she stared herself in mirror and staring crying..
Her mom opened the door and said.. "wow again doing one more drama.. what happend now?" She said while wiping her tears "mumma.. I wish I didn't existed.." her mom said "yes you are right.. I think the same."laughed and left the room..
After hearing this her heart broke inro pieces.. with teary eyes she just sat down on bed and smiled.Then she changed her clothes and lay down on her bed for sometime.
she slept while crying...no one was even bothered by her absence in the house.
Then she woke up at midnight because she saw a bad dream.. she woke up and drank some water while remembering the dream
( in which she was running so fast while being chased by a man)
she again went to her room after drinking some water from kitchen. she picked up her phone and there was notification from Ayush..
"Hi radhika! I hope you are okay...i think we need to talk and sort all these things"
(her hands were trembling while reading all this...her eyes were filled with tears again..)
she threw her phone away on bed and said
"Am I an option.. whenever you want to play you just come here.I am not a toy..I am also a human I also have some feelings..I got hurt too..why should I understand everytime... why can't.. he.. why?"
she said this all while crying hugging her pillow so tightly..Her head was just bursting with pain.she again slept while crying..
The next day..she woke up by a gentle familiar voice that said.."Radhika!! Wake up...open your eyes baby see who's here to meet you".
she woke up and got scared because it was her aunt that she always hated.she hated her because she always said that girls are a burden to their families and much more...but she woke up and greeted her aunt and went to get ready for her university..
She went out of her room.. she was wearing a floral designed top with straight jeans and she kept her beautiful hair open..Her aunt asked her mother
"so.. is she going to a fashion show?" Her mother replied "I don't know much about her..yk it's her wish I don't care.."
No one even asked her and she went to her college quietly...she met Ayush on the stairs..he began the conversation
"Hi radhika! How are you?"
She said "I am fine.. what about you?"he also replied that "he is good"..
then after a sudden silence..
He said "Radhika! I hope you saw my texts yesterday.."
she said "yes."
he replied "so don't you think we should sort this out?"
She said "yes.. I am ready but you are not Even answering properly.how can we sort this all and you just keep ignoring me all day .I know you are busy but how can you change this much.. I know I had committed a mistake by telling you all that but...
(she stopped and tears slided from her cheeks)
He said ,"I know I have hurted you a lot but please try to understand..I have my own problems how can I do this all..I am confused.. I have many problems.. nothing is going Allright.."
she interrupted him said what's your problem? Why can't you share it? you use to call me your home and not what.. then why can't you just share ?
If you will not share your problem how we are goona sort it.. why are you suffering alone..please.."
He replied " i am like this only.. I can't share my problems.. I solve them by myself.. I don't know why I am like this."
(he went away-left her there crying )
she wiped her tears and went to her classroom.. Her one classmate overheard their conversation..
(He was tall and handsome guy with straight hair and he had a very nice hairstyle that's suited him a lot)
when she reached in her classroom there was just one seat left beside that guy..when she sit there..
That guy's one friend called him... "Dhruv!! I have to tell you something after class."
He replied "okay."
she was hearing all this.. after class finished they both went to their different ways..
