Chapter 129 - Chapter 126 Why is it here?!

Capricorn turned her head, looking at Uncle Wu with a half-smile. "What? Didn't get enough?"

Uncle Wu froze, then pointed a trembling finger at Capricorn. "You... don't go too far!"

"How is it too far? Weren't you the one who force-kissed me first?" Capricorn retorted, crossing her arms.

"That was to wake you up, there was no other way," Uncle Wu said, rubbing his forehead.

"Heh, now that it's come to this, trying to deny it?"

"Who's denying it? I'll take responsibility where it's due," Uncle Wu sighed.

Capricorn paced over to Uncle Wu, sizing him up and down. "Responsible? I didn't expect you to be so pure."

"My identity as a butler requires me to take responsibility for everything."

Capricorn nodded, flicking Uncle Wu's forehead. "Alright, little butler, let's get out of here first."

With that, Capricorn walked towards the source of the earlier sound.

Uncle Wu rubbed his forehead, his expression complex.

"No, I'm forty years old! Do you take me for a child?"

Capricorn's voice drifted from ahead. "No difference."

"Tsk."

Uncle Wu clicked his tongue and quickly followed.

"Be careful!"

"I know."

The two walked side by side, the cries of "Save me!" still echoing.

Just as Capricorn was about to take another step, Uncle Wu grabbed her wrist.

"Wait, something's not right here."

Uncle Wu crouched down, pinching the sand on the ground.

"Quicksand."

Capricorn frowned. "A trap?"

"More or less."

Uncle Wu stood up, scanning the shadowy areas in the mountains, then sharply yelled,

"Get out!"

Not long after, the cries for help gradually faded, and creatures resembling giant sand foxes, but hairless and with skin like cracked clay, emerged.

These creatures had sunken eye sockets and pupils that glowed with a faint green phosphorescence.

Uncle Wu watched these mutated sand foxes, his gaze falling on the sandy ground where they slowly walked.

No footprints, no sound.

"These things don't look easy to deal with," Uncle Wu narrowed his eyes.

"It doesn't matter. The moment they reveal themselves, they are already dead," Capricorn said coldly.

With that, Capricorn attacked first!

Streaks of black true qi seemed to surge from the abyss.

Uncle Wu shook his head and charged forward. "Watch out for the quicksand."

Under Capricorn's full power, these mutated sand foxes didn't last five minutes.

"Told you to act! Like to lure people in?"

"Like to deceive people?"

"Like to imitate?"

Uncle Wu watched Capricorn grab a sand fox by the neck and punch it repeatedly in the head, unable to bear the sight.

Violent, too violent!

"Plop."

Capricorn tossed the sand fox's corpse aside, clapped her hands, and then looked at Uncle Wu. "Are you coming or not?"

"Coming, coming, coming."

After dealing with the sand foxes, the two continued deeper.

On the sandy path, Capricorn suddenly spoke.

"Earlier, did you call out 'Capricorn'?"

Uncle Wu's heart skipped a beat. "No, I called out'Sister Mo'."

Capricorn sneered. "Like to deceive people?"

A cold sweat trickled down Uncle Wu's forehead. "It's really not..."

"I heard it," Capricorn stood still, looking at Uncle Wu with calm eyes. "My memory shouldn't be wrong."

Uncle Wu fell silent, sighing inwardly.

Young Master, there's no way around it. I'll accept my punishment when I return.

"Alright, I did indeed call out—Capricorn."

Capricorn's eyes narrowed slightly. "Oh, it really was. Looks like I didn't mishear."

Uncle Wu:???

"You!"

Capricorn ignored Uncle Wu and walked forward. "So, your Young Master also knows that Young Mistress is the Lord?"

Uncle Wu sighed, giving up. "That's right."

Seeing that Capricorn didn't say anything more, Uncle Wu asked instead, "Aren't you angry?"

"What's there to be angry about? Everyone has their own secrets," Capricorn said calmly. "Besides, I'm guessing the Lord has probably been exposed too."

"Hmm?" Uncle Wu frowned.

Capricorn looked up at the sun above her head. "With this kind of sunlight, and dangers lurking everywhere... it's impossible not to be exposed, especially since the Lord... loves him very much."

Uncle Wu thought for a moment, then sighed softly. "That makes sense. It seems that Young Master being a Shadow has probably also been exposed."

"What?!"

Uncle Wu's heart sank. Damn, it seems he'd sold out the Young Master.

Capricorn grabbed Uncle Wu by his collar. "He's a Shadow?!"

"Hey! Watch your wording! You should call him Son-in-Law!" Uncle Wu said, displeased.

Capricorn bit her lip. "Alright, is Son-in-Law a Shadow?"

"Um... if nothing unexpected happens, probably, possibly, likely, maybe, yes," Uncle Wu's gaze shifted elsewhere.

"Look at me!" Capricorn lightly snapped.

Uncle Wu immediately turned, looking at her heroic and sharp brows and eyes, his Adam's apple bobbing.

Looking closely... this woman... seems quite appealing...

"What are you thinking?" Capricorn's eyes gradually became dangerous.

"N-nothing..."

"So, you all knew about the Black Court from the start?" Capricorn's brows were tightly furrowed.

"That's right..."

Capricorn sighed, releasing Uncle Wu. "What kind of existence are you exactly, to know everything about the Black Court?"

Uncle Wu was silent for a moment before speaking. "Let's talk about it after we find the Young Master and Young Mistress. There are some things I don't know."

Capricorn snorted. "Hmph, men."

The two walked for another while and found a "corner."

It was precisely the "shelter" Dilinaer had spoken of.

"Let's stay here for today. We've just expended a lot of true qi and stamina, which isn't good for what's next," Uncle Wu suggested.

"Mm."

The two arrived at this cave. Uncle Wu put down his BTD heavy tactical pack and began to pull out items.

Carpet, comforter, electric lamp, water, food, small folding barrier door.

After setting everything up, Uncle Wu nodded with satisfaction.

"With these things, I imagine the Young Master and Young Mistress shouldn't have too difficult a night."

Capricorn's mouth was slightly agape. "You, you prepared so thoroughly?"

Uncle Wu smiled proudly. "As a butler, this is just basic operation."

He picked up a bottle and tossed it to Capricorn. "Replenish yourself."

Capricorn caught it and took a big gulp. "You're really thorough."

"Tsk," Uncle Wu clicked his tongue. "Please add 'ful' after 'thorough'."

"Hmm? What's this?"

Uncle Wu heard Capricorn's strange tone and looked back.

Immediately after, his face filled with horror.

That was—an alcoholic beverage?!

Who put it in there?!

"How did this get into my bag?!"

"Hehehe, I put it in," Capricorn giggled foolishly.

She leaned in close to Uncle Wu, licking her slightly moist thin lips.

"Hey! Hey! Calm down!"

Uncle Wu's eyes widened, and he scrambled backward.

"Thump!"

Uncle Wu lay against the stone wall, his eyes slightly panicked. He looked at Capricorn's arm beside his ear, his Adam's apple bobbing.

"You, don't mess around."

"What if I do mess around? Didn't you say you'd take responsibility?" Capricorn leaned close to Uncle Wu's face, her breath like orchids. "Or are you saying you don't keep your word?"

Uncle Wu smelled the strange fragrance mixed with alcohol, and his head tilted back slightly.

"This... here, isn't suitable!"

"It'll be suitable if we change places?"

"No! Sister! We haven't gotten out yet! Calm down."

Uncle Wu gently pushed Capricorn, but unexpectedly, this action seemed to completely ignite Capricorn!

"Calm down my ass! This old lady wants it now!"

Capricorn completely pounced on Uncle Wu.

"Hey! Hey—! Mmph—!"

Two hours later...

Uncle Wu lay exposed, his muscular body covered in hickeys. He looked at Capricorn beside him, covered by a blanket, revealing her fair, lotus-root-like arm, and sighed.

He then lowered his head and touched his waistband, his expression relaxing slightly.

Thankfully, it hadn't gone that far.

Uncle Wu then looked at the now dark sky outside, lost in thought.

After a good while, he lowered his head. "Tsk, why did it... happen in this place?"

"Aiy—!"

Inside the cave, Uncle Wu's long sigh echoed.
