NEAR THE SWAMP
Everyone was terrified by the chewing and munching sound . Merchants hold each other hands in fear they call the guards A iton rank guard approach the carriage saying my.....l..ord i think something is watching us as ....prey everyone of us are feeling the same our instincts can't be false .
Carlos the merchant who hired the guards as escorts grabs the guard by neck and threatens him with a terrified face and says we hired you for our safety and you can't even do that .shame on you as a guard call your leader here.
guard leader Alfred the single gold rank adventurer of the town the 39th strongest warrior in the royal capital says you were the one who give a forbidden request to our general this swamp is too dangerous.
because of multiple monsters territories are in this way and the most dangerous the unknown swamp lord k'ruthel not a single person have survived a encounter with him the merchant now angry says we paid 5 times of the price of a ordinary escort mission we paid even more than that to hire you .
we are your owners now untill we reach our destination safely alfred says with a deep voice i have fought many enemies,monsters,beasts till now even during the wyvern subjugation mission i didn't feel this much killing intent .

We sees armin he says he is still feeling something is starring at us continously he sees a glowing flower near a tree he says what a destiny a rare herb near a swamp field he didn't pay much attention to that flower and they finally enter the swamp they slow down their speed a bit guards go forward to ensure if any monster is lurking near by.
they return after some time everything is clear they continue forward armin sees that glowing flower again he says maybe i am lucky enough to see a rare herb a second time in a swamp he corrects his posture a bit relaxing his muscles then he hears something a faint sound of a bell .
He freezes for a moment and analyze his surrounding then he spots it again the glowing flower for the time in a row and there was something like a dark shadow figure standing still watching them he shouts for guards no one hears him maybe no one can't then we see the guard simon and the leader Alfredthey were at the front of the carriage they feel something is off too.
Simon go to check on Armin but he sees something else A dark shadow figure eating the dead body of a guard he was Terrified at the scene that dark figure have eyes red he was a terrifying creature unknown to them the creature have a human heart in its shadow claws like hand it opens its large mouth munching on it.
simon nearly vomited at the scene in front of him his subordinate armour shreaded into pieces like paper his intestines were pulled out from his body his eye balls rolling near Simons foot and there were some remains of his horse too flesh pieces and blood everywhere.
he can't even move his body paralyzed by fear that creature looked at him and make a creepy smile one of the finger of his subordinate was in its mouth blood dripping from the finger that thing grabs the body and vanishes into the fog laughing maniacally.
simon come back to his senses terrified by the scene he witnessed he runs to check on his other subordinates but now only Alfred and simon was left with the merchants there other guards were missing .
he checks on Armin he sees he is unharmed he takes a sigh of relief .he approachs armin and warns armin something unknown is hunting them be cautious and releases him from his restrains and give him some milk and bread to replenish his energy simon reports the situation to Alfred he was already aware of the dangerous situation.
he says stay around me in a situation like this we can only rely on each other Armin sits on one of the horse carrying the carriages and eats his first meal after escaping that hell after eating he stretches his body a bit and asks simon to give him his sword back simon looked at him with a surprised expression while drinking a potion to calm his mind from the horrifying scene he witnessed earlier his hands were shaking out of fear.
Armin sees it he remembers the moment he lost his teammates. Their horrifying death.
Armin hugs him tight and says this the reality of the life everyone have to return where they come from.
