Chapter 20 - A Meet With The One Inside.

"Welcome, welcome, welcome-uh what's your name?"

"Flester." He said with a low growl and clear disdain in his voice that the teen did not even bother to hide.

"Flester-Flamebearer Flester. How nice to meet you." The figure continued "Its been so many centuries since I last spoke to a human, you know I was almost nervous."

Flester grunted-murder clear in his eyes.

It had been one day since Night left and he had not even met Aira. His plan for today was to spend time with the beautiful girl and somehow squeeze information about Night out of her but sadly he could not meet her now.

Hell-he did not even know how to escape from his current situation and neither did he know how he got stuck here...Well he did not even know where he was anyway.

"Who the hell are you?" Flester screamed. He was sitting in a chair, and was tied to it with an orange rope which oddly did not cut off his flow to his magic in any way but it did immobilise him and no matter what type of magic he tried to free himself from this dammed rope it did not work at all.

For the past one hour, he was forced to listen to whoever it was yapping to himself and sometimes asking his name only to ask it again after some while.

Well it also seems like that person knew of the Symbol he had too.

Obviously Flester did not go all out in trying to free himself-no, he was yet to go into second stage or summon either Blazion or Blazing Serpent and he did not even use the Flame Arts. It was better to be safe, he did not know where his enemy was, as Flester was surrounded by white, white and white.

Above him was white, below him was white and all around him as far as his eye could see-it was only white and yet he could not see the person talking to him and neither did he know which direction his enemy was in. Every time he spoke, his voice would reach Flester from all sides.

At first it was creepy and he was scared and also panicked-what type of mage could this be? And where was he? For sure he did not know of a place completely white and he could not even sense anything over here-who was this bastard?

Well then later on when the mysterious figure mentioned Flester having the symbol, the fear in his heart just grew higher and his mind naturally went to figures like Night or someone from the Royal kingdom-Jasmine probably told to her family and now they sent some annoying bastard to take the Symbol away.

Well as the figure asked his name again and again and again, the situation turned from serious to hilarious.

"I swear I'll rip you to shreds, you bastard." Flester screamed once more, "You want to kill me? Fine come and try to kill me, let's see which one of us is stronger." Flester gritted his teeth, he knew very well that he would not get an answer but unexpectedly the figure went silent for a while and replied still in his non-caring attitude as ever.

"Oh? No no no Flamebearer. I can not kill you even if I wanted to." The figure replied, and something in his tone suggested Flester that he was speaking the truth or at least he was speaking some truth.

"Why would I kill the first person I have talked to after centuries of isolation."

'What is this guy blabbering?' Flester thought, obviously it was a lie-just what kind of mage could live for centuries especially one who was unknown.

Well there was still a possibility that he was telling the truth and he was some kind of trump card of the kingdom-maybe they locked and kept him in isolation only to do missions no others could do. That was both logical and illogical.

They could have easily ordered Night to capture him. If Night really just lying to Flester, he would have come and taken him and if he was telling the truth then he would been here defending him or at least he would have warned him.

"The hell do you mean by that you hypocrite. Show yourself."

"Why did you call me a hypocrite? Do you even know the meaning of this word?" The mysterious figure was really amused to have been called a hypocrite, surely no one had called him that in his life. Though if he really had lived for centuries, then at least one guy would have called him that or maybe not and Flester had become the first guy to call him hypocrite.

"Well anyways you want to me to come in front of you..." The figure began and stopped as if to remind and mock Flester by showing who held the decision and continued. "Well that is no problem, you can ask me every question but before that, I need you to answer my questions."

The figure again went silent for a while as if thinking his first question.

"Well Flamebearer. Are you a noble or from the Royal family?"

Flester scoffed, was the man mocking him again?

"I am neither, I am merely a commoner and an orphan." Flester replied with a hint of sorrow. Though the figure seemed genuinely surprised. Then replied in a calm voice. " How interesting."

"Well Flamebearer." He continued "Who else knows of the Flame Elemental Symbol?"

A confused expression filled his face, how had he not known that? Who was he really?

'Is he the leader of Dark Nemesis?' A sudden chill ran down his spine, Raizen was already so dammed powerful and Kai was literally untouchable and if this mysterious person was their leader, then did he have any chance of escape?

What were his chances? Zero. There was simply no escape or any chance of victory. That would also explain where he was and why he could not sense anyone or anything.

"Well, Night knows it-"

"NIGHT? That guy... was he ever in the Ruby Pillar perhaps?" Flester bit his tongue, he was getting tired of everything. The moment he made a guess of who the figure might be, he says something that completely obliterated the idea.

'Is he trying to manipulate me?'

"Uh, he's still in the Ruby Pillar."

"Ohhh, that's nice to hear young Flamebearer and who else know of your Symbol?" Flester sighed once again, he sighed a lot these days and these types of incidents were a major cause for all his sighs too.

"Well, Night knows, then Jasmine does. And Kael Agni and an organisation-there might be more but I don't know of them."

"Well, who's Jasmine and where does Kael stand in the Agni clan and how in the world did an entire organisation know of the symbol?" The figure was growing anxious by now and also...concerned? No definitely not.

"Well, well." Flester began to talk with a tired expression-it felt like he was giving information to every random strong guy he met and this time he could not even help it.

"Jasmine is the princess of the Ruby kingdom, nothing special and Kael is the heir of the clan." Flester said indifferently almost giving up on hope-not only could he not move he was also giving the mysterious man all information he asked for.

"How in the world did they all know of your symbol? Are you dumb? You careless piece of shit." The figure was definitely angry now and also annoyed, the figure let out a sigh and mumbled something about carelessness and stuff.

"I don't know how any of them got to know except for Kale, Night said it to him after he said to not to say about the symbol to anyone."

The figure went silent for a long while, Flester was growing anxious as time went as well-no matter how much he pushed his brain he could not see a way out-he even doubted going all out would work.

"For now that is all I need to know, what are your questions Flamebearer?" Suddenly a change appeared in Flester's surroundings and in an instant there was someone standing in front of him, uh no there was someone sitting in front of him while he was standing and the person was tied by a rope to the chair. No wait it was the opposite. Wait. What?

It seems that now there were two Flester, staring at each other. One was standing and had a smile on his face and the other one was sitting tied to the chair with a rope and had a confused expression on his face.

"What the hell? Why are you looking like me?" The Flester sitting asked and the other Flester just smiled until he took a good look at the sitting boy and his smile dimmed and a frown appeared on his face.

"No way you look so simple and weak. Are you seriously the Flamebearer?"

Flester let out a frustrated groan and sighed. "Shut up and answer, you idiot."

The Flester standing sighed. "Well I look like you because you are the Flamebearer."

Flester gave him, or rather himself a deadpan expression. "Are you kidding me?" The Flester standing shrugged indifferently and looked at him, a grin plastered on his face.

"Well then Flamebearer Flester, try to guess who I am."

Flester sighed, then took a good look at the man or rather himself and now that he saw himself standing in front of him-he understood why he was a loner back at the academy. Obviously no kid would like to approach such a creepy looking orphan.

"Well are you Night?" Flester standing shook his head.

"Perhaps you are someone sent by the Royal Family?" He again shook his head.

"Maybe someone from the Noble clans?" Another shake of the head.

"Someone from Dark Nemesis." Another dammed shake of the head.

"Alright, you are a mage." Another shake of the head. What the hell?

"A human?" Another goddammed shake of the head?

"That's the closest you came and yet you are wrong." The Flester who was standing replied.

"Then are you a magic beast?" The Flester standing gave him a long look and AGAIN SHOOK HIS HEAD.

"Then what the hell are you? A god?" Another shake of the head.

"I am...the Flame Symbol."
