Jayden was not having a good day. He had just received another threatening note from an anonymous sender demanding he not run when whoever "they" are arrived. If he was being honest, Jayden didn't really care who was coming. He was one of the biggest mafia bosses in all of France, after all. He had plenty of enforcers who could take care of whoever would dare to attack him. And even if they reached him, they wouldn't dare kill him. He had links, money, and partners who would avenge his death any day. Confident, he went to sleep. But little did he know, he was just a pawn on the board, waiting to be sacrificed to further someone else's schemes...
______Pacific Ocean—Approaching Paris, France__________________________________________
Kayo's jaw tightened as she piloted the Thunderbird S through the sky. At first she hadn't given the riddle much thought, but now that she had time to think about it, it was scary. A deliberate threat, directed at her, and a cryptic riddle? What could it all mean? Still, she was confident that Jayden was the culprit, and she hoped to get this over with quickly.
"Land spotted!" called Kayo through her comms to Brains and Alan in the Thunderbird 2. As they approached the shore and fly overhead, setting course for Jayden's mansion, Kayo couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, almost as if she was walking right into a trap, or worse, right into someone elses plans...
Fortunately, Kayo was awakened from her thoughts by the crackle of Virgil's voice over the radio. "Approaching mansion. Prepare to drop!"
As Alan and Virgil jumped out of the Thunderbird 2 with some GDF soldiers that had been called in in case things got ugly, Kayo activated her bike and dropped out of the Thunderbird 2 and crashed through a glass skylight. "Bonjour, enemies!" was the last thing Kayo heard before she landed on the top floor. Jayden's bedroom.
