Chapter 61: evening games
Jay-Jay POV
After dinner, everyone was still almost bursting from energy so they called everybody to the living room.
Ci-n: okay. Truth or dare.
Edrix: good idea.
Everyone: I'm in!
Everyone was in, so we started playing.
The bottle -they got from god knows where- landed on Blaster first
Rory: truth or dare, Blaster!
Blaster: truth
David: what is your favourite song on guitar?
Blaster: Sailor song by Gigi Perez
The second dare landed on Mayo
Ava: okay. I'm asking.
She says with a smug smile
Ava: I have a question that can reveal a lot
Sha says, emphasising "reveal"
Mayo: okay. Hit me with it.
Ava: okay. So... Mayo. Who do you think is the most attractive in the room?
Mayo: guy or girl?
Ava: guy
Ava said with a daring look
Then Mayo whispers a name, we can't hear.
Jay: repeat it
Mayo: Kit.
Kit: what the hell?
Josh: bro. What the? Are you gay or something?
Mayo: yeah....
He said in a voice that told the story that he is ashamed of it
Marcus: okay. Before anyone thorws hands... I didn't know you guys had gay friends
Jay: me neither
I said, totally confused from the confession
Yuri: Keif? Anything you knew?
Keifer: nope
Then David started speaking in a quiet voice
David: I knew.
Then everyone came with the rapid fire questions
David: Mayo came out as gay to me last week.
Blaster: why only to him?
Then Denzel spoke in an accusing voice
Denzel: bro, do you even trust us?
Mayo: yes.
Josh: then why only to him? Why not us too?
Mayo: cuz I knew, David won't make random offensive gay jokes.
To that, everyone fell silent. They knew he was right, that they would tease and make Mayo uncomfortable with it. That they would make fun of him
Marcus: okay... Before another wave of anything comes on our neck. I may oray have not invited someone...
I looked at Marcus's nervous expression
Jay: who?
Marcus: Ate Ion
Jay: Ate who?
Marcus: Ion
Jay: and who even is that?!
To the last word, to door burst open. There stood, my Kuya, older brother, Aries. He immeadiatly ran to me and started checking my body for... God knows what
Aries: Jay! Are you okay?!
I was really confused by his question. Why would't I be fine?
Jay: yeah... I'm fine. Why?
Aries: I thought someone kidnapped you or something! You didn't answer your phone! Nor my text!
Jay: oops... It was on silent...
After I finished that sentence, Angelo, my other Kuya, walked in, all calm and composed
Angelo: what, the great world of god, is happening here?
Keifer: good evening, Mr. Fernandez.
Angelo: evening, Mr. Watson. Jay? Explain.
Jay: I'll explain later, Kuya.
At the word "Kuya", everyone froze, like I judt dropped a live bomb
Ci-n: Kuya?!
Angelo: yes. I'm her older cousin.
Kuya Angelo says, calm as ever
Kit: Mr. Fernandez is your... Kuya.
Angelo: correct, Mr. Harington.
Jay: yep... My bossy Kuya.
Angelo: by the way. Why is half of the celeb world here?
I plastered a nervous grin on my face
Jay: friend reunion
Aries laughed up at that
Aries: friend reunion? Baby sister, you have half of the buissness world in one room. Most buissness conferences can't do that.
Angelo: your brother is right.
Jay: I know.
I said casually, but half the room was staring at me
Aries: good that you know that your Kuya is right.
Marcus: two kuyas and both buissness tycoons? Jay, you really are something else.
Then, a lady, I think the same age as kuya Angelo steps into the room.
Ion: hi everyone.
Angelo: Ion?
Kuya Angelo looks really suprised. Do they know each other?
Ion: Angelo?
Aries: Kuya, who is this?
Angelo: oh... Yeah... You guys never met before...
Kuya Angelo says with a nervousness in his voice that I never heard before
Jay: Kuya Angelo.
I say, in a voice that leaves no room for arguments
Angelo: yeah... Okay... This is my girlfriend, Ion.
Jay and Aries: your who?!
Ion: I'm his girlfriend
Aries and Jay: GIRLFRIEND?!
We almost shouted at the same time with Aries
Aries: tell me that means female friend...
Angelo: no.
Aries: save me.... And the sanity of my eyes...
Angelo: says the person I caught making out with his girlfriend on the couch, last weeek.
Jay: wait what? Aries has a girlfriend?!
