"What is the beginning of eternity, the end of time and space, and the beginning of every end?"
After the eagle ring bronze door knocker posed the question, it fell silent again, seemingly waiting for the one who was asked to answer the question.
Albert frowned, repeating the eagle ring bronze door knocker's riddle to himself, then complained, "I hate riddles."
At a crucial moment, being blocked by a riddle made Albert feel uncomfortable all over.
Albert knew he probably couldn't guess the answer, at least not for now.
Solving this challenge was actually very simple; all he had to do was fully understand the riddles, and the questions posed by the eagle ring bronze door knocker were bound to repeat.
After all, not all Ravenclaw students could be brilliant geniuses; they could answer the questions because they had already learned the answers from others.
Knowledge is meant for people to learn.
When someone couldn't answer the question posed by the eagle ring bronze door knocker, they could only wait for someone else to answer, thus learning knowledge they didn't know.
Students not from Ravenclaw naturally had no opportunity to learn the answers to pass the eagle ringbronze door knocker from other senior students, and thus could not pass this simple barrier.
Even a genius, without prior exposure to similar riddles, would find it difficult to immediately come up with the answer.
Albert never considered himself a genius, so he didn't expect to answer the eagle ring bronze door knocker's question right away.
Could it be that he really had to use a Disillusionment Charm, stake out the entrance to the Ravenclawcommon room, and eavesdrop on the eagle ring bronze door knocker's riddles and answers?
That was too absurd!
Even if he got some riddles and answers from Ravenclaw students, the riddles would surely change the next time he came.
"This is really a headache!" Albert muttered to himself.
He had temporarily given up on answering the eagle ring bronze door knocker's question, unless it happened to ask about the Phoenix and fire.
But the chances of that were minuscule.
Albert jotted down the riddle, then got up and left the Room of Requirement. Anyway, he already knew how to get in, so he could wait until next time to answer the eagle ring bronze door knocker's question.
After leaving the Room of Requirement, Albert went straight to the Library.
"Where were you just now?" Fred looked up and asked, "I heard someone say you stepped into the Library and then turned right around and left."
"Suddenly remembered something." Albert sat down in the empty seat that Lee Jordan and Fred had reserved for him.
"What was it?" Fred asked again.
Albert pulled out his portable notebook, flipped to the riddle page, and showed it to Fred.
"What?" Lee Jordan also leaned his head over and froze when he saw the contents of the notebook.
"A riddle, can you guess the answer?" Albert asked them.
"How much free time do you have?!" Lee Jordan pulled his head back and continued to bury himself in his holiday homework; clearly, he couldn't guess the answer either.
George also curiously leaned over, but only glanced at it before going back to his own holiday homework.
This guy always likes to study those strange things.
The three of them lamented their roommate's odd behavior, thinking that with such free time to ponder riddle answers, he might as well do a few more problems.
As an aside, the novel app I'm currently using, [\ Mimi \ Reading \ app \\] supports both Android and Apple phones!
Albert didn't expect them to help him solve the problem and began to seriously read the riddle's content.
"What is the beginning of eternity? What is the end of time? What is the end of space? What is the beginning of every end?"
"There should be a common point among them."
Albert thought carefully, writing down the information he had analyzed on a scratchpad.
First, that thing must be eternal, and related to time and space?
"Moment"
If time is eternal, then the moment time begins is the beginning of eternity, and the last moment of a period of time is not the end of that period of time?
It is the beginning of every end.
If time is divided into continuous segments, then each end is the beginning of another segment of time?
But… what the hell is the end of space?
Could it be referring to four-dimensional space?
People once speculated that four-dimensional space refers to time.
Alright, it seems to barely fit.
Barely fit my foot!
Albert didn't think this was the answer the eagle ringbronze door knocker wanted; he even doubted if Wizards knew what four-dimensional space was.
Even if Wizards far surpassed Muggles in the study of time.
So… this certainly isn't the correct answer… which means…
"I might be trapped in a thought fallacy?" Albert stared at the riddle.
"The answer here doesn't represent a specific thing, but rather refers to the commonality of eternity, time, space, and end."
The commonality of eternity, time, space, and end.
Albert's finger traced over the word "eternal," and he softly recited it, then froze.
eternal
At this moment, Albert suddenly felt he knew what the answer to the riddle was. The word for time is "time," the word for space is "place," and the word for end is "end."
So… the answer to the eagle ring bronze door is actually 'e'?
A common British letter riddle?
Albert looked at the 'e' in his small notebook, feeling that this was more consistent with the eagle ring bronze door knocker's answer than "moment."
"It seems I'm not too stupid after all, at least I guessed the answer."
"Are you deliberately mocking us?"
Hearing Albert's remark, Fred couldn't help but roll his eyes at him.
If you're considered stupid, then what are we?
Trolls?
"Why aren't you doing your holiday homework?" Angelina moved her gaze from the parchment and couldn't help but ask.
"Albert is enjoying the joy of solving a riddle!" Lee Jordan tilted his head and asked, "What's the answer?"
"The letter e."
"Where did you get that riddle?" Angelina glanced at the riddle's content and mumbled, "It doesn't seem very difficult."
"That's because you just heard the answer, so it's naturally not difficult." Lee Jordan looked speechlessly at Angelina; he had just seen the riddle and hadn't thought of it in that way at all.
"You're not thinking of challenging the Ravenclaw eagle ring riddle, are you?" Alicia looked at Albertsuspiciously, then continued, "It's said that a Ravenclawstudent once challenged the eagle ring riddle and answered over a hundred correctly."
"That's a good idea." Albert nodded, "I'll find some time to try it someday."
"I'm curious what the Ravenclaw students will react like when they find out." George looked up and said, "When you go, remember to call me."
"It'd be good if you could answer a few?"
"We have confidence in you." Fred and George said together, "We believe you're definitely smarter than the Ravenclaw students."
I don't even have confidence myself, where did you two get yours?
Albert glanced at the prompt on his task panel, and a new task actually appeared:
