Chapter 189 - Spell Club

On the other side, Albert and Katrina were on their way to the seventh floor, similar to their previous visit to the Transfiguration Club.

However, this time, their positions were swapped.

"No, just tell me directly where Classroom 17 is," Albertsaid, seeing Katrina about to speak, and flatly refused, stuffing her intended words back into her stomach.

"Are you sure? All right, follow me." Katrina looked at Albert with some resentment, seemingly a little displeased, but still led him down the Hallway.

They stopped in front of a statue of a middle-aged Witch, which was the entrance to Classroom 17.

"Alberta Tuccell," Katrina introduced to Albert. "Fifteenth-century, All-Britain Wizard Duelling Champion."

"Ancient times? How many people were there in all of Britain back then, and how many Wizards?"

"What are you trying to express?" Katrina asked.

"One must look at things long-term," Albert said. "Don't be like Tom."

"Tom?"

Albert curled his lips and said, "My cat."

"Can you say something that people can understand?" Katrina felt that there was a hidden meaning in his words, but she couldn't understand what he was trying to express.

In fact, Albert knew this person, Alberta Tuccell, who won the championship using the Explosion Charm.

As for how he knew the name?

Of course, while searching for information related to the Explosion Charm, he incidentally saw the introduction of Alberta Tuccell, and because his memory was very strong, he remembered the name.

"How do we get in?" Albert asked Katrina.

"It requires a password."

"A password? You're not going to say... the password is 'Explosion Charm,' are you?" Albert looked at Katrinasuspiciously.

"You actually knew that." Katrina was full of surprise, completely not expecting Albert to have guessed it.

"It really is the Explosion Charm." Albert saw that after he said 'Explosion Charm,' the Witch's statue moved aside, revealing the entrance hidden behind it.

When he walked in, he found that it was a spacious classroom inside. The environment here was very similar to the Transfiguration Club, with chairs arranged in a semicircle.

Hmm, Albert also saw an acquaintance.

"You can sit anywhere," Katrina said, then walked towards Isabelle, leaving Albert standing at the entrance.

Although she said that, there were actually only sixteen chairs.

Several people were looking at Albert; he didn't pay attention to their gazes and walked directly to a less crowded spot to sit, waiting for the gathering to begin.

As three o'clock approached, the members of the Charms Club gradually arrived. The number of members in the club was slightly more than that of the Transfiguration Club, totaling sixteen people.

Albert also spotted a few familiar faces: Terence Higgsof Slytherin, the Slytherin reserve Seeker who had confronted Albert last semester, and played by the rules. Albert had a good impression of him.

Another was Gabriel Truman of Hufflepuff.

"You were invited too, as expected." Truman saw Albertas soon as he entered the classroom and came over with a smile to greet him.

"Professor Flitwick wouldn't be using 'Magical Innovation' to explain things to us, would he?" Albertglanced at the academic magazine in Truman's hand and asked tentatively.

"How did you know?" Truman was very surprised.

Albert was speechless, feeling that the Charms Cluband the Transfiguration Club were indeed highly similar.

"Don't worry, if you don't have this magazine, you can borrow it from Professor Flitwick," Truman said, patting Albert's shoulder to comfort him. "Besides, most of the time, we'll be doing Charms practice."

The small book pavilion that book friends used before has closed down, and now they are basically using the \ mimiread \ app \.

Before three o'clock, Professor Flitwick arrived at Classroom 17 early. He stepped onto a chair, standing on a very high chair, and spoke to everyone face to face.

"First, we welcome a new member. His name is Albert Anderson." As Professor Flitwick pronounced Albert's name, he suddenly let out a shriek, and his body then exploded, emitting countless fireworks and streamers, startling everyone.

The next moment, Professor Flitwick reappeared, and applause then echoed throughout the classroom.

"Are welcome ceremonies always like this?" Albertasked in a low voice.

"No, yours is quite special this time." Truman had a full smile and applauded along with everyone.

Professor Flitwick clapped his hands twice, attracting everyone's attention, and then said, "Our topic today is the Silent Spell."

"I know that you are still very unfamiliar with the use of the Silent Spell." Professor Flitwick continued after everyone quieted down, "This subject is basically only taught in your sixth-year advanced Charms class."

"Of course, the Silent Spell is not as difficult as you might imagine."

"What are the benefits of mastering the Silent Spell?"

"Not speaking the incantation aloud when casting magiccan achieve an element of surprise." Professor Flitwickanswered his own question.

"Some Wizards feel that using the Silent Spell weakens the power of the spell and are unwilling to use it." Professor Flitwick grinned, "As is well known, those Wizards are just making excuses for themselves."

Many people couldn't help but laugh aloud.

"Many Wizards find the Silent Spell too difficult because their focus and willpower are not concentrated enough when they use it."

"Let me tell you a secret, by the way." Professor Flitwicksaid mysteriously, "Skilled Wizards are usually very good at the Silent Spell; it's one of their essential techniques."

"Now, everyone try to use the magic you are most proficient in," Professor Flitwick said to everyone, "Don't make a sound, just silently recite the incantation in your mind. Also, cheating is pointless; begin."

As everyone practiced, Professor Flitwick began to circulate among them, observing the students practicing silently, occasionally offering a few pointers.

Albert saw Truman next to him with his mouth tightly shut, feeling a bit like laughing. The other person seemed to be strongly resisting some temptation, trying not to softly utter the incantation.

Albert tried his best to concentrate, excluding all external influences, and while silently reciting Lumos in his mind, he waved his wand.

Well, he succeeded.

The situation seemed not as difficult as imagined. Albertwasn't sure how much time had passed, but he did successfully light his wand without saying a word.

"You succeeded?" Truman's expression was replaced by astonishment, as he stared blankly at Albert, never having imagined that Albert would succeed so easily in using the Lumos Charm silently.

Although the Lumos Charm is not a particularly difficult magic, it is... undoubtedly not easy to succeed, especially for those low-grade students.

"Well, it's not as hard as I thought, it just requires practice, and more practice." Albert found that he still couldn't use the Lumos Charm without making a sound.
