Bookshop? Oh, right. Bonanus remembered. Noelle had asked her to come to the bookshop together.
"Of course. Lead the way." Bonanus nodded. It was time to see what interesting books this world had to offer.
"Hehe, okay!" Noelle chuckled. She was clearly very happy.
After buying the books she wanted, they could go to Cat's Tail Tavern. After that, they could wait for the evening party.
A party full of delicious food and wine. Just thinking about it was exciting.
She just hoped her sister would have fun with everyone. After all, to her sister, the people she invited were all strangers.

Walking toward the bookshop district
This area had not only bookshops but also stores selling musical instruments and furniture.
Compared to the commercial street, this area was less crowded. If you listened closely, you could hear music.
"So you can hear music here!" Bonanus looked around curiously. Good music could always change a person's mood.
"Yes, but most of the music here comes from apprentices practicing their instruments." Noelle nodded in explanation.
"I didn't know Mondstadt had a place like this!" Bonanus rubbed her chin thoughtfully. She had never seen this area in the game.
"From what I know, Liyue should have something similar." Noelle tilted her head. Her sister was a bit clueless not to know these things.
"Ah? Is that so..." Bonanus scratched her head. Why did she suddenly feel like a country bumpkin?
"Yes. Maybe you were too busy before to notice, Sister." Noelle chuckled. It seemed she wasn't the only one who needed to learn more about the world.
"Ahem... have we arrived yet?" Bonanus cleared her throat and changed the subject.
"Right ahead, Sister." Noelle pointed at a very simple looking shop. That was their destination.
"Wow, it looks so rundown!" Bonanus muttered. How rundown? The shop didn't even have a roof.
Was the owner so poor from not selling any books that he couldn't afford a roof?
"Please understand, Sister. This shop was just built recently. The owner started selling before the renovations were finished." Noelle touched her cheek, wondering if she should help the bookshop owner build a roof.
Starting a business before the shop was even finished? That was bold.
With the Stormterror attacks happening from time to time, if a tornado came through, all these books would fly away.
The owner would probably be devastated.
"Let's go in..." Bonanus covered her eyes. She couldn't bear to look. Teyvat really had all kinds of people.
With that, she walked toward the shop quickly, leaving Noelle behind.
"Hey, wait for me, Sister!" Noelle hurried after her. It seemed her sister didn't like this place.
---
Inside the bookshop
As soon as she entered, a lazy voice on her right greeted her.
"Welcome. All our books are imported from Inazuma. The quality is guaranteed."
Bonanus turned to look. The speaker was a stubbly, somewhat disheveled looking man. He had heavy dark circles, probably from staying up late.
He seemed like a dedicated night owl.
"You look unfamiliar. Haven't seen you here before." The bookshop owner slowly turned his head, then turned back just as slowly.
Bonanus didn't respond to his comment. His attitude was terrible. She didn't know him anyway. Better to wait for Noelle.
She walked further into the shop, looking at the bookshelves on both sides, hoping to find something that caught her eye.
Noelle arrived a moment later and saw Bonanus walking inside. She licked her lips, smiled at the owner, and said,
"Hello, Mr. Jack. I'm here to buy books again."
"Oh, Noelle. The book you wanted is on shelf three. Go ahead and grab it." Seeing Noelle, Jack's entire attitude changed.
Talk about favoritism.
"Thank you, Mr. Jack. I'll be right back." Noelle nodded, took a deep breath, and walked toward shelf three.
---
On the other side
"Let me see..."
Bonanus squinted at the book titles. They all seemed interesting, but none of them made her want to read them badly.
"Reincarnated as the Raiden Shogun?" Hmm. "Becoming a Hilichurl and Conquering the World." Wow, people really had wild imaginations.
She muttered under her breath. She felt like she had traveled back to the modern world and walked into a bookstore to buy light novels.
What a strange feeling.
After browsing for a while, she saw many strange titles. Examples included: "From Poor to Liyue Qixing Tycoon," "Reborn as a Stonehide Lawachurl, I Duel Rex Lapis," "The Dendro Archon is Actually My Wife?" "My Yandere Rex Lapis."
These authors were really bold with their titles. The Seven Archons didn't care about such things. Otherwise, these authors would have died a hundred times over.
"All of them are isekai or rebirth stories?" Bonanus rubbed her chin, still searching for her divine book.
Just as she was getting disappointed, her eyes landed on a golden, sparkling book. It nearly blinded her.
Wait. Could that be?
Breathing heavily with excitement, her face flushed, she stood on her tiptoes and pulled down the golden book. She looked at the title closely.
The title was: "Rex Lapis Falls in Love with Me, But I'm a Man!"
Next to it was another book called: "Reincarnated as the Anemo Archon, Confessed to by Rex Lapis."
"Holy... holy crap! Teyvat is amazing!" Bonanus swallowed. The author of this book must be just like her.
She hugged the divine book tightly to her chest and looked around nervously, afraid someone might snatch it.
In her previous life, books with this kind of theme were practically nonexistent. Right now, these books were more precious to her than priceless antiques.
Without a second thought, she grabbed both books and rushed to the counter, her face glowing.
"Boss, I want these! How much?" Her voice was urgent, as if someone might steal the books if she didn't buy them immediately.
Jack looked at her with confusion. Why did this girl look like she was in heat? Something was off.
He took the books with a puzzled expression. When he saw the titles, he rubbed his forehead in exasperation. Young girls these days and their tastes.
But if she wanted to buy them, he wouldn't judge. He checked the prices and said casually,
"Four thousand Mora total. Pay up."
"Deal!" Bonanus pulled out a few bags of Mora from her space, tossed them on the table, and sat down with her books to wait for Noelle.
Jack stared blankly at the excited girl, made a face, and went back to dozing off.
