I and Hero stood before each other, our swords meeting with a clank.
The first exchange made me painfully aware that I am no match for the Hero. The Hero's strength is off-charts, and she didn't put any effort in parring my attack.

I put some distance between them.
"Your swordsmanship... It's somewhat similar to mine."
"Is that so?"
'I tried to use Degenerate on her sword to break it apart. But it didn't work... It's higher grade than what a Unique Skill can handle...'
'Body Double!'
I created a Body Double, and started jumping the Hero, but I still didn't have any chance of winning.
"Is this all you can do—!?"
I used Degenerate on air. Separating Nitrogen molecules into individual atoms, and fusing it with neutron that I obtained from using Degenerate in the air.
N + n —> C14 + p + ∆E
In simple terms, a nuclear reaction. I got the idea from a fanfiction I read.
Of course, my Body Double performed this nuke attack, and I had retreated back while using Degenerate to use the energy released in explosion to fuse with my fireball, effectively defending myself from the explosion, especially since fire has no effect on me.
But the next thing I knew, I was on the ground, Hero's sword on my neck.
"Well, that was something."
She commented, clearly surprised by my attack.
"I lost huh? So, what's your name, Hero?"
"Chorona. And yours?"
"Shizu. Thanks for taking me in as your disciple."
"You are quite bold, aren't you?"
"Teehee~ So, am I accepted?"
"Yes."
"Yay!"
