Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Basic Taijutsu

In the blink of an eye, a morning had passed.

Ninja Academy courses generally consist of theoretical lessons in the morning and practical lessons in the afternoon.

Thanks to his adult mindset and the memories of his predecessor, Qingming managed to keep up with the morning theory classes.

As for the afternoon practical classes

, he could get by as long as the Three Body Techniques weren't tested. According to his predecessor's memories,

  the Three Body Techniques

were tested about once a week, with the rest of the time spent teaching combat skills and the use of ninja tools.

The last test was three days ago, so there was no need to worry about being exposed for now.

  As for the next one,

four days would be enough for him to master the Shadow Clone Technique.

With that foundation, he wouldn't have to worry about the assessment.

Time flew by, and it was already afternoon.

  On the training ground.

Sugimoto Itto looked at the thirty-odd students below and said solemnly, "Next, I will divide you into groups. You will then fight each other. You must not stop until I tell you to. Even if you are defeated, you must get up and continue fighting. Do you understand?"

Upon hearing this, the students below immediately became noisy.

The reason was simple: in the past, their battles were fought in groups, with Sugimoto Itto overseeing, providing commentary and analysis.

Now, not only were they required to fight simultaneously, but they were also forbidden from retreating—something unprecedented.

Qingming didn't know what others thought; he saw urgency in it.

  Yes, urgency.

Logically, this type of combat should only be conducted in the fifth or sixth year, so to subject them to this training now was clearly moving the curriculum forward. Considering

the current situation in the ninja world, it wasn't hard to guess that the school intended to graduate them early.

  However, this was quite normal.

In peacetime, a six-year system was fine, but in wartime, with a severe shortage of manpower on the front lines, the length of time spent in school would naturally be shortened.

"If I remember correctly, Konoha's graduation exams are held from October 7th to 10th every year.

Three days later, the school will send the exam results to the higher-ups, and after the Hokage's personal approval, the official registration will take place on October 15th.

  And today is September 3rd!

In other words, he'll be forced to graduate in about a month. "

This made Qingming feel a sense of urgency.

  "Quiet!"

Sugimoto Itto's voice came from above, immediately silencing everyone.

"Next, those whose names I call, step forward, Hanada Sundō."

Hearing this, a burly student stepped forward.

  "Hirai Matsu."

  Another student stepped forward.

Sugimoto Itto looked at the two and said, "You two form a group."

  "Yes, teacher!"

Hanada Sundō and Hirai Matsu stood together and responded simultaneously.

  "Hmm."

Sugimoto Itto nodded and continued calling out, "Yamano Hana, Aoki Ryūko."

As his name fell, the whole class was quickly divided into more than a dozen groups.

Qingming was no exception. His group consisted of a commoner ninja named Moriki Tetsuya, whose talent was decent, and whose strength was roughly equal to his predecessor's.

But that was his predecessor; the current Qingming had no confidence in defeating him.

Don't underestimate his opponent just because he was only about ten years old; in terms of combat experience, Qingming couldn't even come close.

After all, his previous school hadn't taught him how to fight.

Fortunately, his adult mentality allowed him to remain calm.

Soon, Sugimoto Itto's voice came again: "Remember, no weapons are allowed in the following battles."

Hearing this, Qingming secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Although the kunai used for training weren't sharpened, being hit in a vital spot wouldn't be pleasant.

Perfect, he needed to accumulate experience; the less suffering he endured, the better. He wasn't a masochist.

That's right, Qingming was prepared to be beaten.    Ads by Pubfuture   'Now I just hope this beating wasn't for nothing.'

Thinking this, Qingming opened his panel and glanced at it. If he wasn't mistaken, after today, he would have another skill on his panel.

  "Prepare~, form the Opposition Seal!"

  Sugimoto Itto's voice rang out.

Qingming and Moriki Tetsuya simultaneously raised their right hands, forming the Opposition Seal.

  "Begin!"

Sugimoto Itto's voice fell, and Moriki Tetsuya lunged forward, his right fist slamming hard towards Qingming's face.

Faced with this swift attack, even though Qingming had prepared himself mentally, he was still caught off guard.

However, whether it was due to the influence of his past life's memories or muscle memory, at the crucial moment, he actually reacted and narrowly dodged the attack.

Not only that, almost the instant he dodged, he instinctively struck, punching Moriki Tetsuya's cheek.

  Bang~

Moriki Tetsuya raised his right arm, blocking the attack.

In the instant the two passed each other, Moriki Tetsuya used his left foot as a pivot, twisting his waist and abdomen, turning his body ninety degrees, and sweeping his right leg towards Qingming's head.

'Damn, a little brat, so ruthless,'

Qingming mentally cursed as he felt the gust of wind rushing past his ear.

However, he knew this was ninja combat—ruthless not only to themselves but even more ruthless to their enemies; the battle was like dancing on a knife's edge.

This was still just the adaptation phase; the danger would be even greater once Sugimoto allowed them to use weapons.

To survive in this chaotic world, he had to adapt to everything as quickly as possible; otherwise, even with a proficiency panel, he would ultimately be nothing but a useless person.

With this thought, Qingming stopped thinking and focused all his attention on the memories in his mind and the current battle, absorbing the legacy of his predecessor as quickly as possible.

Time passed second by second, the battle on the training ground never stopped, and people frequently cried out in pain from their injuries.

However, no matter how pitiful their cries were, Sugimoto didn't call for a stop.

During this time, Qingming was also knocked down several times.

Although he possessed the memories of his predecessor and could handle Moriki Tetsuya for a short time, his moves were too stiff, and he was quickly exposed.

  Thus, he suffered.

Whether Moriki Tetsuya harbored a grudge against his predecessor or something else, his attacks were incredibly ruthless; by the time school ended, bruises covered Qingming's body.

  "Hiss~"

Rubbing his bruised eyes, Qingming walked down the street, feeling little resentment, but rather a sense of gratitude.

The reason was simple: a new skill had appeared on his skill panel—Basic Physical Techniques.

  "Screen!"

With a thought, Qingming opened the skill panel.

Immediately, a pale blue light screen appeared in his field of vision:

  [Name: Uchiha Qingming

  Age: 10 years old

  Physique: 5

  Spirit: 7

  Chakra: 6 (127)

  Bloodline: Sharingan - Unawakened (51/100)

Skills: Chakra Refining Technique: lv0 (2/100) Shadow Clone Technique:

  lv0 (19/100)

  Basic Taijutsu: lv0 (35/100)]

It can be seen that in just one battle, his 'Basic Taijutsu' reached lv0 (35/100), directly surpassing 'Shadow Clone Technique' and becoming the skill with the fastest fusion progress.

According to Qingming's estimation, his predecessor's skill level was only at the initial lv1 level.

In other words, as long as there are two or three more battles like this, he can completely fuse everything related to this skill from his predecessor.

And to have such progress, he has to thank Moriki Tetsuya for his ruthless actions, forcing him to deal with it with all his might.

So how could he possibly resent the other party?
