Chapter 2
{sweet meal restaurant}
Hazel changed into her uniform and started her shift as a waitress at Sweet Meal Restaurant. As she was about to attend to a VIP table, Victoria, another waitress, intervened, saying she'd take care of it.
"Hey, don't go seducing those rich guys, I'll go," Victoria said, adjusting her non-existent bra.
Hazel rolled her eyes, knowing Victoria's reputation. "Who wants to seduce them, bitch?" she muttered under her breath.
Victoria approached the table, putting on a fake smile. "Welcome to Sweet Meal Restaurant, what would you like to order?"
The three boys ignored her, eyes glued to their phones. Victoria tried again, this time, trying to get their attention by flirting, but they didn't even acknowledge her presence.
Finally, she gave up. "Hey, go take their order yourself. Those boys are arrogant as hell," Victoria said to Hazel, annoyed.
Hazel thought to herself, "Serves you right for taking another person's orders."
Hazel approached the table, her patience wearing thin. "Welcome to Sweet Meal Restaurant, what would you like to order?" she asked, trying to hide her annoyance.
The boys ignored her, still glued to their phones. Hazel's anger grew. She slammed her hand on the table, making them look up.
"If you're not ready to order, why come here? Why press the bell? Why don't you go marry those fucking phones of yours?" she snapped.
One of the boys, Kenzie, smirked. "If you insist, we'll order."
Hazel's eyes narrowed. "Just bring all what's on the menu," Kenzie said, ignoring her previous statement.
Hazel smiled sweetly. "Okay," she replied, a knowing glint in her eye.
A short while later.....
{Billy's Hospital}
Emily's eyes welled up with tears as she stood outside the hospital, looking distressed. "Oh no, how could I tell Hazel about this? I just wish I had had money for treatment," she thought, her mind racing with worry.
As she stood there, lost in thought, she suddenly collided with someone. "Hey, I'm sorry," the person apologized, surprised.
Hailey looked up to see Emily, her childhood best friend. "Emily! Is that really you?" she exclaimed, shocked and delighted.
The two friends hugged, catching up on lost time. "What are you doing here? You look really upset," Hailey asked, noticing Emily's distress.
Hailey bent down to pick up the test results that had fallen from Emily's hand. As she scanned the paper, her expression changed from concern to shock and horror. She looked up at Emily, her eyes wide with worry. "Please tell me it's not true," she said, her voice shaking.
"No, please tell me it's not true," Hailey said, her voice shaking.
"It's true," Emily replied, tears streaming down her face. "It's incurable. I don't know what to do, Hailey."
Hailey's eyes filled with tears too. "I'm so sorry, Emily. We'll face this together, okay? You, me, and Hazel. We'll get through this as a team."
Emily nodded, feeling a mix of sadness and gratitude. "Thank you, Hailey. I don't know what I'd do without you."
As they talked, Emily explained her situation – her husband had abandoned them, and she was struggling to make ends meet. "I don't know how to tell Hazel," she said, feeling helpless.
Hailey listened attentively, her expression filled with empathy. "Don't worry, we'll figure it out together. You and Hazel will come stay with me, and we'll make the most of the time we have left," she said, handing Emily her contact information, before departure.

Hazel pushed a large cart of food towards the table, her eyes fixed on Kenzie. He had ordered the entire menu, and now he thought he could get away without paying?
As she approached the table, Kenzie stretched out his leg, trying to trip her up. The cart went flying, and food spilled all over the floor.
"Hey, Jerk, how dare you!" Hazel snapped, her anger boiling over.
"What do you mean, 'how dare me'?" Kenzie replied, smirking.
"Come on, pay up," Hazel said, stretching out her hand.
"Oh wow, why would I pay? And if I didn't pay, what would you do?" Kenzie asked, smearing a smile on his face.
"Pay your bill, Jerk," Hazel said, her voice cold. "Or else."
"Or else what?" Kenzie sneered.
"What I'm gonna do if you don't pay your bill is gonna be beyond your imagination," Hazel said, her eyes flashing with warning.
Kenzie laughed. "Do you think I'd be scared of your threat? Come on, what do you want to do? Just you dare, ah!"
Hazel's grip on his hair was like a vice. She started eating his face on the table, her anger and frustration boiling over.
After a few minutes, she stopped and asked, "Now, would you pay?"
"No, why would I pay when I didn't even eat the food?" Kenzie shouted, angrily. "I admit I tripped you, but it doesn't mean I should pay for the food. My mouth didn't even... my tongue didn't even taste it."
Hazel smiled, a wicked glint in her eye. "Oh wow, you're actually using the 'I didn't eat the food' excuse. Well, since you didn't eat, your mouth is gonna taste the food on the ground. Every single dish you wasted, you're gonna taste it. Even if you don't finish, your tongue would surely taste every single dish on the ground."
Hazel grabbed a handful of food and started forcing it into Kenzie's mouth. After thirty minutes of this, she wiped her hands with a towel and cleaned his face, looking unruffled.
"So, now that you've tasted almost all the food, can you do me the honor of paying your bill?" she asked, her voice sweet.
"I'm not paying any fucking bill after what you did to me," Kenzie shouted, angrily.
Hazel smiled, a cold smile. "You are really a strong-headed person, and I like that. But let me tell you something: you are not, and you can never be as strong-headed as me. Luckily, I have something else in stock for you."
She picked up a broken mop stick and started using it to... well, let's just say she wasn't gentle.
Kenzie eventually passed out, and Hazel turned to his friends, who were sitting still, looking shocked.
"Hey, kindly pay your friend's bill before taking him away," she said, her voice firm.
"Girl, I do not have the fucking time to argue or exchange words with you. Just move away, and I promise you, I would not sue you for what you've done," Killian, one of Kenzie's friends, said.
"No, I am not going to allow you to take him away until you pay the bills, easy," Hazel replied adamantly.
"Hey, girl, boy, girl, or whatever you are, fucking live the way and let's carry our friend away from someone as crazy as you," Kenzie's other friend said angrily.
Here's the corrected version:
"No," Hazel replied.
"I do not understand why you would still ask for the bills after spoiling our friend's reputation," Kilian said.
"How did I spoil his reputation? I only taught him a lesson. Ah, it's not like they're crowds here. Oh, sorry, I forgot people were watching. But they're not making any videos," Hazel replied.
"Oh, really? Then what's this?" Kilian asked, showing her a video of what happened on social media, and the comments that were really bad and insulting.
"Isn't that Kenzie?"
He is getting beaten by a girl.
"Yeah, it's him. Look how weak he looks. What a handsome face, but useless
bones,"Hazel said, reading the comments.
When she read the third comment, she burst into laughter.
"Hey, what's so funny? So you still have the gut to laugh after ruining his reputation?" Kilian asked angrily.
"How would I laugh after seeing something sensible and funny?" Hazel replied, laughing hard.
"Hey, girl, boy, boy, girl, whatever you are, just leave the way so I can take my friend away from this place," Kilian said, barging forward.
"No, I won't leave the way. I won't leave the way unless you pay," Hazel replied, with a smile playing on her lips.
"You know what? I have had enough of your madness.
Where is the manager?" Kilian asked.
