Marinette was sitting at her desk still in her nightwear she was creating a shirt for Tom but she grunted in disappointment that she put the shirt and down sighed out.
"What's wrong Marinette?" Tikki asked
"I want to try something different for Tom for once instead of making the same shirt since they adopted me all those years ago." Marinette said then she sat up with an idea and a smile on her face
"By your face I'm guessing you have an idea?" Tikki asked
"Yes, Tikki I do, I'm going to surprise him with something he never got before but what is it that he has never got before." Marinette said thinking of something Tom has never had before but she came up short
"I don't know what Tom has never had before." Marinette said
"Why not ask your mother?" Tikki asked
"Yeah, I'll do that." Marinette said then she walked out of her bedroom and saw her mother in the kitchen so she asked about her grandfather but her mother told her to talk to her father so that's what she did went down to the bakery and asked him but he said to ask grandma so she went back up and asked her but said to go and talk to Tom again so she went to her bedroom and sat down I her chair in a huff and she grabbed a nail file and started to file her toe nails
"I'm guessing it didn't go well?" Tikki asked as she watched Marinette file her toe nails
"It's like they don't want me to know about Tom's father." Marinette said blowing on her toe nails then she picks up pink nail polish then she applied it to her toes and her fingers and after 5 minutes she was done
"Why not use your time power and see in the past to see what happened?" Tikki said and Marinette nodded and her eyes glowed bright blue and she saw Gina and Roland split up due to their differences to the modern world and Gina went with the modern times while Roland stayed with the time of the old and Marinette returned back to the real world
"So, what happened Marinette?" Tikki asked
"It seems like they spilt over how the times were changing and Gina went with the modern times while Roland stayed back in the old times." Marinette said walking to her wardrobe and getting pink t-shirt crop top, red running shorts, Ladybug patten open toed sandals and she took off her nightwear and put on her clothes and after she was done, she picked up her purse and Tikki went inside and she walked out and headed to Rolands's place and when she arrived, she saw the house was far away from the city and no one comes near here so she keeps her guard up in case someone rob or attacks her so she walked up to the gate and saw a bell and intercom
"(I thought Vikings were way behind time due to that time bubble around them but no this guy doesn't want to live near anything modern." Marinette said then she made the bell ring
"What do you want?" Roland asked through the intercom
"I'm delivering Calanders." Marinette lied
"Don't need them, don't want anything from the modern world." Roland said closing his intercom then Marinette ring the bell again
"I have your mail." Marinette lied
"Put it in the bin." Roland said and closed the intercom and Marinette sighed in disappointment
"Don't give up Marinette, you are Ladybug and Astrid "Fearless" Hofferson, you can think of a new plan." Tikki said hyping Marinette back up and Marinette had a smile on her face
"Tikki you lucky Ladybug genus, I should disguise myself has a girl scout and ask if he wants biscuits that hasn't changed for a very long time." Marinette said running around the corner
What biscuits are you going to make Marinette?" Tikki asked and Marinette got her phone and searched and she smiled
Well which biscuits have been around for long since the war?" Marinette asked and Tikki thought but she shrugged her shoulders
"I don't know Marinette I have been locked away in the Miracle box for 200 years." Tikki said
"It's these Tikki." Marinette said showing Tikki a photo of the biscuits and Tikki read the name
"ANZAC Biscuits." Tikki read what was Marinette's phone and Marinette nodded and smiled
"Yeah, I want to remember the brave Australians and New Zealanders who risked their lives doing the first world war by trying to fight off the Turks and trying to get to the frontlines but they failed since the Turks had the home advantage and the ANZAC's were unprepared by the onslaught of bullets coming their way." Marinette said then she used her magic and turned into a girl scout with Anzac biscuits and she went to the bell
"What do you want?" Roland asked
Hello sir, do you want to buy ANZAC Biscuits to remember the brave solders who risked their lives in Gallipoli." Marinette said
"Those biscuits are old and they haven't been modernized so I'll buy couple of packets of those biscuits so come on in." Roland said opening the gate and door and Marinette walked in.
Marinette walked through the gate and she smiled in her success
"Plan A was a success, time for Plan B tell my granddad who I am and tell him why I'm here so he can come to Tom's birthday." Marinette said to Tikki who was hiding inside the hat
"Marinette can I have a taste of those Biscuits?" Tikki asked
"Soon Tikki." Marinette said as she walked through the door and she entered into the kitchen
"Hello sir I am Michelle from the ANZAC girl guide brigade." Marinette said as she used a fake name
"Thank you, Michelle, can you put those biscuits on the table over there and leave." Roland said
Marinette put the Biscuits on the table and she saw something her father told her about
"Is that a 72 La Pegnole they hard to come by now." Marinette said
"You know your oven's." Roland said
"Yeah, we learnt about them in history about different baking ovens." Marinette said
"Right now, that you have put the biscuits on the table I want you to leave please." Roland said going back to making his bread and Marinette saw it didn't have any rice in it
"Making the bread the old traditional way instead of the new traditional way where they put rice flour in it." Marinette said
"That's not how to make bread, bread should be made the traditional way not the way it is now." Roland said but Marinette got an idea and smiled
"How about this, I challenge you to who can bake the best bread and we'll see who's bread taste great." Marinette said challenging her grandfather to a bakeoff
"Do you hear this Charlotte, Marie-Louise and Marguerite, she wants to challenge me to bake bread, someone who has more experience in baking." Roland strutted
"Are you scared that my bread would taste better than yours." Marinette said taking off her vest and started to make the bread, Roland looked at her in shock than he started to make his bread and Marinette started to hum the song she heard from Tom and Roland looked at her in shock.
"How do you know that song?' Roland asked after he came out of his stupor
"I heard it from Tom and I am your grandfather Marinette." Marinette said taking off her cap showing Roland who she is and he got mad and pushed her out
"I don't have a son and you are not my granddaughter so Fuck off and piss off." Roland said closing the door and walking back to the kitchen
"What about my bread, you promised a bake and taste challenge." Marinette said through the door
"I don't fuck care, you lied to me that you were someone else so how can I trust you." Roland shouted while putting his and hers bread in the oven and slammed the door closed madly
Marinette walked around the corner and used her magic to return to her normal clothes and leaned against Roland's house wall and she sighed out
"Well, that didn't work I need a new plan to get Roland to see Tom for his birthday." Marinette said then she heard a thump and she looked around the corner and saw an akuma coming out of Rolands place and it marched through all of Paris so she texted Alya to keep an eye out for the akuma and she ran inside and turned off the oven
"Alright Tikki, let's save Roland from Hawk Moth's control and try and get him to come to Tom's birthday." Marinette said and she transformed into Ladybug and she followed behind the akuma
"Roland please give up your akuma and De-akumatized in peace." Ladybug said landing in front of him
"My name is Bakerix not Roland." Bakerix said grabbing Ladybug around her leg and started to punch her in the face multiple time breaking her nose and he threw her very hard and fast through couple of buildings until she crashed into the bridge railing that was next to Andre, Alya and Nino
"Ladybug are you alright?" Alya asked
"Yeah, I'm alright just let me get my strength back after he threw me through multiple walls." Ladybug said getting back up but she took a knee after she felt pain in her ankle
"That's right he grabbed my leg and he possibly crushed it while he was punching me in my face." Ladybug said using her healing powers around her ankle and it started to heal and when she put her wright on it, it didn't hurt much so she stood up then Bakerix arrived
"I see I damaged you quite a lot but you are still alive and kicking but I want you dead so I can take your Miraculous from your dead cold hands." Bakerix said bringing his fist up and he swing it forward fast
"Where the fuck is Chat Noir?" Ladybug asked then Bakerix fist hit her body and blood and spit came out of her body as she was sent flying and she went through more buildings and she went bouncing and crashed into the leg of the Eiffel Tower and fell onto the ground
Ladybug was injured and exhausted and her suit was badly damaged and she was bleeding everywhere and she tried to get up but Bakerix came over and picked her up and was about to take her Miraculous but Rena Rouge and Carapace saved her.
"I see the Guardian gave you guys your Miraculous." Ladybug said weekly
"Hang on LB we'll get you to safety so you can heal." Rena said picking her up and taking her somewhere it's safe
"Marinette what happened?" Rena asked as they were in private safety area
"It's Tom's father he's been akumatized I tried to surprise him by being someone else and I guess I used Tom's song and he got shocked and I revealed that I'm Tom's daughter and his granddaughter and I guess he got mad." Ladybug said
"Why do you keep calling your dad Tom?" Rena asked
"There is another secret I will tell you in the future soon." Ladybug said then her body glowed pink and her wounds healed but it only left scars behind and she stood back up after strength came back to her
"These scars on my arms and legs are easy to hide I just use my illusion spell and my arm will be normal but the ones on my back and neck will be hard since I wear shirts that are short or revealing." Ladybug said
"Have you worn bigger shirts before?" Rena asked
"But who's going to see my abs and my breasts so I can make them do things for me since the males think with their dicks." Ladybug said
"Not my Nino, he wouldn't cheat on me." Rena said
"I don't know Alya but haven't you seen him hanging out with Lila quite a lot and they have been close as well." Ladybug said
That doesn't mean anything." Rena said
"Okay then Alya, I'll give you couple of weeks to see if Nino isn't cheating on you but if he is I'll be here for you." Ladybug said rubbing Alya's hand with her bare hand as her armguards got destroyed from being battered as she got thrown through buildings
"Okay Marinette you got yourself a deal if Nino is cheating on me you have to kiss me on the lips and if he isn't cheating on I'll do your chores for a month." Rena said sticking her hand out to seal the deal
"You got yourself a deal Alya." Ladybug said shaking her hand and they both smiled at the deal
"So that's out of the way, what is the plan to defeat Bakerix?" Rena asked
"Well just before I encountered him and got thrown to where you and Nino where I saw him drinking out a flask of yeast that makes his muscles expand and that makes him extremely dangerous so why not while he's in his weaken state we sneak up on him and take the flask and we break it releasing the akuma and I repair all of Paris with my Lucky Charm." Ladybug said
"That's a good plan but what about Chat Noir and Carapace?" Rena asked
"Chat properly still haven't shown and Carapace still fighting Bakerix." Ladybug said then Master Fu showed up
"I wouldn't be sure about that Marinette." Master said
"What do you mean Master?" Ladybug asked
Master opened up his hand and it showed the turtle Miraculous and Rena covered her mouth to stop a gasp coming out of her mouth
"What happened Master?" Rena asked
"I'll let Wayzz tell you guys." Master said putting on the Miraculous and Wayzz came out
"Wayzz can you tell us what happened?" Ladybug asked
"Nino de-transformed and I saw Bakerix hasn't been defeated and I knew you would take your time to heal and I asked him what he was doing but he didn't respond he just took my Miraculous off and gave it to me and saying I should go back to the old man who it to him so I flew up to the roof and I saw him walking away so I followed and I saw him knocking on a door and girl with Aruban hair and green eyes opened it and they both kissed each other on the lips and he walked in and she closed the door and after a wee moment I saw the girl closed her curtains so I left and went back to Master Fu and here we are." Wayzz said and Alya cover up her mouth to silent her crying
"I can't believe he would cheat on me with a liar." Rena cried and Ladybug went over and gave her a side-hug and Rena cried in Ladybug's bare shoulder while she rubbed her back.
"Ladybug will you be doing that plan you were telling Rena about?" Master said
"Nope I'll just open up a portal and grab his flask and quickly retreat my hand and close the portal before he knows what happened." Ladybug said and used her free hand she opened up a portal and grabbed the flask and she quickly brought her hand back in and closed the portal with the flask still in her hand
Ladybug put the flask under her foot where she used her heel and she smashed the bottle and the akuma flew out so she let go of Rena and she caught it with her yo-yo and it came out nice and white and she threw her yo-yo in the air and the Miraculous cure shot out and repaired every damage done by Bakerix and after that was done she opened up her yo-yo and took out her spare clothes
"Marinette why do you have spare clothes in your yo-yo?" Rena asked
"Well Alya if my superhero suit gets damaged so does my clothes, that's why I have spare clothes in my yo-yo." Ladybug said then she saw Master Fu
"Master I suggest you look away since I'm going to be naked after I de-transform." Ladybug said and Master nodded and he looked away and Ladybug de-transformed into Marinette and Rena gasp at how many scars Marinette has on her body
"Marinette how are you going to cover up those scars on your back?" Alya asked after she de-transformed
"Well Alya watch my back and you'll." Marinette said and Alya nodded and watched her back and saw a pink light appear and a tattoo covered her back and it also cover her scars
"Woah!" Alya said and Master Fu turned and saw the tattoo that was on her back
"Marinette that tattoo you got on your back shows the Guardian of the Miraculous symbol and every kwami animal theme." Master Fu said
"That wasn't the design I wanted." Marinette said
"Sorry Marinette but I think even your magic knows you are the chosen one and that's why it chose that tattoo." Master Fu said then Alya saw another tattoo on Marinette's chest
"Marinette did you know you have another tattoo above your breasts?" Alya asked and Marinette looked down and saw a Ladybug with flowers on the side
"I like this one it's very pretty." Marinette said then she put her clothes on and she teleported everyone on the ground in an alley and she teleported back to Roland's place and put on the girl scout uniform and she walked inside and turned on the oven so it finishes baking and Roland and Chat Noir came inside after 15 minutes and Marinette was taking the bread out after they were baked and she put them on the bench where Roland came over and saw them all baked and Chat was about to leave but Roland grabbed him and put him in front of them and Roland told Chat Noir to taste and he did and he said they were both tasty and he quickly ran out and Marinette glared at him behind his back as he left and Roland tasted Marinette's bread and was surprised at the taste
"Woah this is tasty what did you put in it?" Roland asked
"The same thing as Tom did, I put rice flour in it." Marinette said and Roland was about to grab another bit out of it but Marinette slapped his hand away
"Not yet grandfather it's my dad's birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a jersey but when I heard that you wouldn't come, I knew what I wanted to get Tom for his birthday to reunite him with you." Marinette said and Roland walked over to where the faced-down photo is and he picked it up and he smiled.
"You know Marinette you are not a traditional granddaughter, but I like it so let's go to the bakery so I can surprise your father." Roland said
Marinette and Roland walked out of Roland's house and they walked to the bakery and Marinette opened the door and smiled when she heard Gina call Roland's name and Tom dropped the rolling pin and he span around and saw his father at the door for the first time in 20 years and he walked over and hugged him and they went up to the apartment where they celebrated Tom's birthday until it got dark and Marinette went upstairs while the adults went out and continued partying at every bar in Paris
Marinette changed into her nightwear and sat in her bed with her phone out and she saw a text from Alya about that deal they made if Nino was cheating and Marinette texted and told her to see it for herself in 2 weeks so Nino doesn't call you jealous.
