Chapter 105 - Epilogue (End)

When Fulen woke up, he only felt dizzy and nauseous, but finding that he had no physical injuries, he breathed a sigh of relief.

However, after Fulen, with the groggy state of mind from being sick, stood up, he discovered that his clothes had dried vomit stains and an unpleasant, nauseating smell. Although Fulen's nose was somewhat blocked due to his illness, he could still detect the less-than-pleasant odor.

Whew, Fulen forcibly suppressed his unpleasant mood and the urge to complain about the "Travel" bullet, and began to inspect his surroundings.

To the left were dense trees and bushes, and the slanting red moonlight—no problem; to the right, similar trees and bushes, and less bright moonlight—no problem; behind, trees, bushes, moonlight, and, oh, a staff whose appearance was unclear—no problem.

Fulen, with his dazed head, instinctively acted as a loyal repeater of "no problem," but finally, he sobered up. Wait, something's wrong!

The still terrifying memories of yesterday ravaged Fulen's will, causing his adrenaline to surge to its peak. Fulen quickly rolled forward, adopting a defensive posture to look at the staff that had appeared behind him for unknown reasons. However, he soon relaxed temporarily.

Because that staff was indeed just a staff; there was no enemy, it was just a solitary item.

Although Fulen immediately felt that the staff was not a threat, he dared not relax his guard. So, he stood there, engaging in a battle of wits with the staff, wondering if it was a conspiracy, or if its owner had some grudge against him, which led to only a staff being left beside him.

However, even though Fulen's inner world had conjured an epic drama, in reality, the morning Sun shone into the slightly cold forest, accompanied by a bit of cold wind. Fulen was wide-eyed, staring at a staff.

After a long while, a rustling cold wind blew through the forest. Fulen, still feeling the effects of the illness from yesterday, sneezed loudly, and in doing so, confirmed that the staff indeed held no conspiracy.

Only then did Fulen relax. Looking at the staff, he saw that its exterior was predominantly pale white, with a strange black gem at the top. However, the shaft was crystal-clear white; when the Sun shone on it, it did not reflect golden light, but instead, a warm luster continuously flowed beneath the ordinary white shaft.

With "Burning" circling around him, Fulen finally felt that he was no longer a pitiful person shivering in the wind. Approaching, Fulen picked up the staff.

The moment he picked up the staff, faint whispers echoed in Fulen's ears. Fulen knew clearly that these whispers were the various sounds he would hear after his spirituality was depleted.

Fulen immediately had a thought: this staff should be an extraordinary materials left behind by the Demoness of Afflictions who was killed. However, he didn't know what the negative effects of this extraordinary materials were. If the negative effects were too severe, it would probably only be able to become a Sealed Artifact.

Fulen toyed with the staff for a moment. His spirituality naturally guided him to channel his spirituality into the staff in a certain way, as if the staff was actively cooperating with Fulen's use. Fulen casually waved it, and the forest before him suddenly ignited with black flames.

This staff has three release forms, Fulen's spirituality told him. Fulen injected his spirituality in a different way again, and beneath the black flames, ice gradually condensed. Switching to another form, Fulen didn't see anything, but he instinctively felt that it was very dangerous.

After releasing the skills within the staff, Fulen played with it for a long time, as it was indeed quite powerful. However, as Fulen turned to leave, he inadvertently noticed the black flames continuously expanding, which jolted him awake.

So Fulen quickly recalled the black flames, ice, and Mysticism Virus he had released, only then realizing that this staff was indeed somewhat dangerous. The whispers in Fulen's ears also grew louder and louder. Although there was no impact, after Fulen sobered up, he indeed broke out in a cold sweat.

Fulen reviewed his thoughts and found that he hadn't ignored the black flames and the virus, but rather, had subconsciously stopped prioritizing them. As for the immense spirituality consumption and the loud whispers in his ears after casting the spells, Fulen was completely indifferent, even having an urge to lose control.

Licking his somewhat dry lips, Fulen then felt the terror of a Sequence 5 Sealed Artifact. However, he showed no fear, instead chuckling softly. After all, his current journey was to Lunburg, and he might encounter some dangers along the way. Having this item with him was more beneficial than detrimental.

The morning Sun shone on the path Fulen walked, appearing bright and radiant. Although Fulen's eyes were slightly squinted by the Sun, he still chuckled softly in Chinese, saying, "The sea is vast for fish to leap, the sky is high for birds to soar. Poetry in Chinese truly has its charm, let's go, let's go."

...

On the other side, in Trier's most important core area, the Palace District, which was a separately established zone in Trier.

Here lies the political center of this era, the White Maple Palace.

On the continent, Loen and Intis have always vied for the title of the continent's strongest. Although their actual strength might not be the absolute strongest, compared to Feysac, who are seen as Barbarians due to their aggressive nature, and the fragmented small nations like Lenburg, as well as the Feynapotter Kingdom, Loen and Intis could indeed claim to be the continent's rising stars.

Loen inherited the territory of the Trunsoest Dynasty, so it has always held the upper hand in its struggles with Intis. Even when it was at a disadvantage, Loen would quickly rise again, and until Rosell became Governor, Loen had always been the continent's strongest.

However, as Rosell diligently worked and constantly innovated (copied), finally, in just ten short years, although Intis underwent several more wars, it grew stronger and stronger, until today, Intis is implicitly regarded as the core of the continent.

In the White Maple Palace, Rosell, with his slightly curly brown hair, high nose, blue eyes, thin lips, and two neatly trimmed small mustaches, was gently listening to Kvedo's report, nodding occasionally.

After Kvedo finished his report, he looked at Rosell's slight nod but did not immediately withdraw. Instead, he mustered his courage and asked, "Mr. Rosell, why…?"

"Why did I go along with the plan instead of directly severing the tentacles of the Demoness Sect and the Iron and Blood Cross Order, is that it?" Rosell looked at the respectful but still questioning Kvedo, nodding with satisfaction, but still interrupted, "Kvedo, Intis has been dormant for too long. It's time to choose a suitable opponent to let everyone know that Intis has grown strong. So, Kvedo, who should this opponent be?"

"It's Feysac!" Rosell answered his own question directly. "Feysac has always had the strongest military power, and we must break this universally recognized fact. The fuse lies in the conflict between the Demoness Sect and the Iron and Blood Cross Order. The Demoness Sect is rooted in Forsac, and the Forsac royal family yearns for the Conqueror Beyonder characteristic lost to the Iron and Blood Cross Order during the revolution. So, as long as they have the intention, we can legitimately launch a war. By then, people from all countries on the continent will know that the Intis Republic, governed by me, Rosell, is the future of this world."

Kvedo was momentarily stunned by the grand blueprint Rosell painted, feeling that Mr. Rosell was indeed extraordinary, and so he retreated with a mixture of belief and doubt.

However, what Rosell did not mention was that the Eternal Blazing Sun and the Steam Church would not support him in going to war again; even a portion of the military was unwilling to fight. Only when Rosell's subordinates were targeted would the military personnel be wary of Rosell's wrath and agree. And since people had died from the Eternal Blazing Sun and the Steam Church, they would not hinder Rosell's revenge. This way, Rosell's plan could succeed.

"I'm sorry, Glynn!" Rosell looked at the morning Sun, a strange curve forming on his lips that even he hadn't anticipated, all for his brighter future.
