Chapter 107 - Mother God's Table

At this moment, the young girl had a strong reaction, appearing beside Fulen almost instantly. She laughed heartily, patted Fulen's shoulder, and said, "You're a kindred spirit! Whether man or woman, if you want to truly experience the charm of this world, you should explore the world favored by the Earth Mother step by step. Young man, I am willing to go with you."

After speaking, the young girl pointed her right index finger at Fulen. Her gestures exuded such boldness that Fulen completely overlooked her gentle appearance, instead feeling as if he had met a good brother from his previous world, where their interactions were always so natural and straightforward.

In contrast, with Kvedo and others in this world, Fulen dared not deepen their friendship. On one hand, he wasn't sure if close friends in this world were as unrestrained. On the other hand, he didn't dare to deepen the relationship because Fulen always harbored a dream of continuously advancing and then leaving this world. The more ties he had, the harder it would be to let go when the time came.

New Year's often evokes longing. Before Fulen's last Extraordinary Gathering in Trier, the streets of Trier were already adorned with Eternal Blazing Sun lanterns. Eternal Blazing Sun lanterns are a unique form of lantern in Intis, invented by the followers of the Eternal Blazing Sun. They serve both as worship of the Eternal Blazing Sun and as a commemoration of Creator's Day.

Every time this season arrived, a wave of homesickness would surge in Fulen's heart. Counting the days, it had been nearly half a year since he left Earth. While separation was common on Earth, winter and summer holidays always brought people back to their families. However, Fulen's departure from Earth, from his hometown, was also a journey onto a path difficult to return from.

And now, Fulen looked at Granda and the Eternal Blazing Sun lanterns he couldn't stop thinking about, and he couldn't help but feel nostalgic for his hometown. Fulen couldn't help but sigh, thinking he was truly getting old.

Thinking of this, Fulen didn't delve further into Granda's origins. Although he didn't know if she was truly just a member of the Church of the Earth Mother, she was much stronger than him and held no ill will towards him. As for whether what she said was true or false, that was no longer important.

With some burdens lifted from his heart, Fulen smiled and asked, "Grant, have you eaten? I still have some uneaten venison here." After speaking, Fulen pointed to the deer, from which he had only cut some meat, but which was still uneaten and not spoiled.

Granda glanced at the deer's carcass, sniffed lightly, and laughed heartily, "It seems you've been wandering in the forest for a long time. It looks like you've run out of seasonings, otherwise, if the meat is just roasted, the taste is still very hard to swallow. Although I don't mind, I also know that it's not something ordinary people can tolerate nowadays."

"By the way, what's your name?" Granda had been talking for a while, and just as she was about to address him by his name as he had done with hers, she realized she didn't know his name. So she wrinkled her nose and asked with a smile.

Fulen belatedly realized he hadn't introduced himself, perhaps because they had hit it off immediately. So Fulen quickly introduced himself, "My name is Fulen Freeman, a Travel from Trier. My current wish is to Travel across the entire continent, and the first stop is the countries of Lenburg. You're right, I haven't seen another human in a long time."

Granda nodded knowingly, then habitually said, "The fact that you can stay safely in the forest means you love the world created by the Earth Mother, and the forest is one of the domains favored by the Earth Mother. How about it, would you like to become a believer of the Earth Mother?"

Fulen watched the other party naturally proclaim her faith and couldn't help but rub his forehead. The other party was indeed a qualified believer. Although she didn't look like an ascetic, this devout faith still gave Fulen a headache. However, Fulen still firmly shook his head. After all, in this world, believing in anyone was essentially the same, just a background. So, changing beliefs was more trouble than it was worth.

And after Granda subconsciously promoted her deity, she patted her smooth forehead and said with a smile, "Sorry, I am a believer of the Earth Mother after all, so I tend to habitually proclaim the Earth Mother's greatness. By the way," Granda proudly raised her head at this point, saying confidently, "But when you meet me, a devout believer of the Earth Mother, your miserable life will end."

With that, Granda casually tossed out a seed-like object. Instantly, the seed began to grow continuously, though its grown form might differ somewhat from normal plants. The seed first continuously absorbed nutrients from the soil, then it didn't immediately break through the ground, but rather began to grow horizontally.

Although Fulen was not a botanist and had no research on plant growth, based on his common sense, a plant that grows horizontally should not exist. Moreover, this plant first grew to a width that a person could embrace, and then it began to rise from the ground, reaching a height of one meter. Fulen watched this plant's growth history, which shattered his worldview, and simply couldn't stop his twitching mouth.

He looked at Granda beside him; she was quietly reciting the Earth Mother's holy book as the plant grew. At this moment, she truly embodied the gentle beauty of her appearance.

After she silently finished reciting a short passage from the earth holy book, the clearly mutated plant stopped growing. It appeared that the growing plant was a tree stump, and one that had risen directly from the ground. Fulen, for a moment, dared not approach, simply watching Granda silently, observing how she would operate it.

Granda clearly knew what she had created. She walked to the tree stump and gently patted it. The tree stump then made a movement as if it were human, trembling slightly.

Fulen was clearly severely shocked by this object that defied his common sense, feeling his sanity points plummet. The Beyonder he had seen so far were merely improvements in various personal qualities, whether physical, mental, or spiritual. And those Beyonder abilities were nothing more than elemental, psychic, or similar to curses, mirrors, or substitutes. These were all within Fulen's imagination. But the most terrifying thing Fulen had ever seen was the Earth magic displayed by the young girl in front of him.

After the tree stump trembled, some things slowly rose from it. Although Fulen was somewhat reluctant to deal with these unnatural organisms, his curiosity still overcame his aversion. He slowly walked forward and saw that what was rising from the tree stump were some seasonings: inorganic substances, crystals similar to salt and sugar, and plants, which were common seasonings like chili and rosemary.

The young girl, with a proud smile, introduced, "This is a new creature I created, following the teachings of the Earth Mother. I call it 'Mother God's Table.'"
