Chapter 4 - Training.

After stealing some clothes from a nearby mall, he felt kind of happy. Who wouldn't? It was nothing much. Just a black leather jacket, a black T-shirt inside, it was winter around the time ORV started story-wise.

There were jeans that he found after going through a hard time, the ones that stretch. He doesn't like anything tight, and jeans are usually tight.

Then just a nice pair of shoes, which he got a black one, because why not? Everything he bought until now has been black.

He knew it really well that the whole black outfit gave off an edgy vibe, but he didn't care at all. Because they looked cool enough.

He also noticed one thing when he looked at the mirror of the mall. Lucky for him, his skin tone has become light pale just like how it was in the fanfic.

In the fanfic, after Ken got transmigrated just like him, his body changed a lot in many ways.

When he realized he still has his beard, he thought he still looked exactly like how he did in real life. But at least the real him changed the skin tone and made his features sharper.

He didn't even have any of the dandruff he had. It was too intense back then.

Before coming back, he also grabbed a backpack and a pair of gloves that had knuckles for some reason on my way.

[Some constellations are interested in what you are planning to do.]

"Me? Well, train, of course."

He was going to take the same route Ken had taken in the fanfic, to train his base strength naturally.

Since he was in a convenience store, he didn't have any problem with supplies, even if most were taken by the students, there still are enough for him.

But unlike Ken, who stayed here for about five days, he decided to stay for less time.

[Some constellation asks how long you. Will stay here.]

[Constellation The dead man who came back says that they will be on another channel in the meantime.]

"... For three days."

Originally the constellations were supposed to be watching him doing boring training for five days straight. The real him had changed it again.

"Yeah, yeah, you guys can go. I don't want to bore you guys for three days straight."

He said before heading towards what seemed like the storage room. But… the entire room was not at all like a storage room.

"Why… the actual fuck is there a bed?"

He looked around a bit more and it actually had a bathroom, a kitchen on another side and a big spacious place for no specific reason.

As he was looking around, he came across another door which led to the actual storage room and even that was filled with the most random things besides the usual things that are supposed to be in a storage room.

But luckily for him, he also found something really helpful there.

Day 2. Ken stood in the middle of the spacious part of the room.

"Ha… let's try it again."

Yesterday when he was looking around in the actual storage room, he found some things.

There were weights. Wrist weights, ankle weights, even a weight vest. He couldn't understand what the actual fuck was the owner trying to do.

When making the fanfic, he imagined the store owner to be an unusually fat and ugly old man. As well as the same person who tried to kill him. After seeing him in person, he definitely was ugly.

But he also imagined that guy to be trying to train and make his body stronger for some reason. Which is the reason this place is like this.

And not just that, his real self also changed many things about this place, as he actually imagined this place to be really cramped.

Though he didn't mind it. He had weights that increased his weight by thirty kilograms in total. Which helped a lot in his training.

But there has been a problem he came across. He didn't know how to fight. Which is why he has been trying to imitate the fighting techniques he has seen until now.

Again, luckily for him. He actually managed to learn the jab, calf and low kick, elbow and knee strike as well as tackling at the least. Which is why he tried to execute the basic moves of taekwondo.

He tried a front kick and it was easy because he naturally had good balance. The back kick wasn't that hard either. The side kick was hard for him because he didn't have good flexibility and trying it hurt a lot.

But after trying stretching a lot, he also managed to do it. Because of his regeneration, any type of injury could be healed and with his body control, he could adjust his body however he wanted.

After all that, he has finally tried to do the hard thing. The taekwondo roundhouse kick.

And he failed spectacularly. After failing two times and nearly falling, he decided to do the third try.

He put his right foot forward and leaned on his forefoot in both feet. As he got his left foot in the air while jumping with right foot to balance himself.

And this time, he succeeded in doing the spin. He could feel his leg flailing around, but he felt happy. At least he did the spin.

'Am I flying or what–' It all happened instantly. Before he could think anything. Bam! He hit the back of his head on the wall.

It hurt like hell. No matter how much a person trains their body, they can't train their head. Which is even worse for some like him, whose calcium and vitamin D keeps on going up and down all the time.

He felt a ringing sound in his ear and his whole sense of balance was off. It was like the whole world was spinning while his head felt like it was going to split open.

"Fuck. The… world is spinning… but I managed to do it anyway."

The pain in his head actually faded away quickly because of his regeneration, as it healed the injury quite quickly. But also drained his energy because of how it works.

[Personal skill: Regeneration (lvl 1).]

[Description: It allows the user to regenerate faster and more efficiently as it levels up. But at the same time, it drains mana to heal. If mana runs out, it uses the energy stored in the body.]

It was disappointing to know that the extra 0.001% buff from the regeneration was gone as the real him had cut it out. But it was not that bad, as it still meant that he regenerated and it could help him build up his muscles faster and strain them way more.

If he was to be honest, he actually felt really proud of himself. As he doesn't think anyone can do at least the spin of a roundhouse kick in just their third try.
