The village did not sleep peacefully that night.
A storm was coming—everyone could feel it.
And its name was Arif Khan.
In the city, Arif sat in his glass-walled office, fingers tapping impatiently on the desk. One of his men stood nervously in front of him.
"Speak," Arif ordered coldly.
The man swallowed.
"Sir… Amaya met Arman. Under the peepal tree."
The tapping stopped.
"What?" Arif's eyes darkened.
"They talked for a long time, sir. The whole village saw Arman take her there."
Silence.
Then—crash!
Arif slammed his fist into the table.
"So," he laughed bitterly, "that's the reason she keeps rejecting me."
He stood up, fixing his coat.
"Prepare the car. I'm going to the village."
Meanwhile, Amaya sat on her bed, hugging her knees. Arman's words echoed in her mind.
"I'll protect you. No matter what."
Her mother entered quietly and sat beside her.
"Amaya," she said softly, "we are worried. That boy… Arif… he is powerful."
Amaya whispered, "I know, Mother."
Her mother held her hand.
"But remember—no power is stronger than truth. And no fear is stronger than faith."
Amaya nodded, though fear still lived in her chest.
Outside, Arman stood near his house, staring at the stars.
"I won't let him touch her," he muttered.
"Not while I'm alive."
The next day, Arif's black car stopped at the edge of the village.
People froze.
Children ran inside.
Doors closed.
Arif stepped out, his cruel smile returning as he walked straight toward Amaya's house.
But before he could reach it, someone stood in his way.
Arman.
Arif raised an eyebrow.
"So… you're the problem."
Arman stood tall, though his heart raced.
"Leave her alone."
Arif laughed.
"Or what? You'll fight me? With what—love?"
Arman clenched his fists.
"You don't love her. You want to own her."
Arif stepped closer, eyes cold.
"And you think love will save you?"
He leaned in and whispered so only Arman could hear:
"People like you disappear easily."
Arman didn't step back.
"She is not afraid of you."
Arif smiled wider.
"She should be."
Inside Amaya was listening everything.
The door opened and she stepped out.
"I am ready to marry you." She told Arif.
Arif gave a cruel smile.
"Amaya No! Don't do this." Arman said.
"I am sorry Arman but I have no choice."
"Amaya wait we will sought this together."
"Just Stop! You didn't listen what she said she is now mine. Forget her you idiot. Now get lost." Said Arif in anger.
Arman saw Amaya for the very last time.
Tears coming out from his eyes and the last words he said:
"So this was your love for me. Fake love. Fake emotions. You are fake and your love is fake. I am so disappointed."
And he left.
"You are so intelligent Amaya. I hope you will stay true to what you said".
And then Arif left.
