Chapter 74 - Chapter 74

MORGAN CALLS "PAPA" AND "MAMA"

In the Stark Mansion, the morning sunlight spilled over the living room. Morgan toddled around, giggling, as Roy, Tony, Pepper, Howard, and Marie sat nearby, sipping their coffee—or trying to.

Morgan stopped suddenly, looking straight at Tony. Her tiny eyes sparkled.

Morgan:

"Papa!"

Tony nearly choked on his coffee.

Tony:

"…W-what? Did she just—"

Morgan repeated, pointing at him with both tiny hands.

Morgan:

"Papa!"

Howard and Marie froze. Pepper's mouth dropped open. Roy leaned back in his chair, trying not to laugh too hard.

Roy:

"Seems like she's decided, Tony. You're officially her Papa."

Tony, still in shock, pulled Morgan onto his lap. She hugged his neck tightly.

Tony:

"…I… I… I don't know what to do."

Morgan then turned toward Pepper, eyes wide with excitement.

Morgan:

"Mama!"

Pepper gasped and instinctively scooped Morgan up. Her heart melted completely.

Pepper:

"Oh… my… Roy… Tony… she called me Mama."

Roy chuckled softly from the couch, shaking his head in amusement.

Howard, adjusting his glasses, looked at Tony and Pepper:

Howard:

"Uh… well… congratulations, you two."

Marie reached over and patted Morgan's head:

Marie:

"And you, little one, have good taste in parents."

Tony, finally recovering, pulled out his phone and whispered:

Tony:

"…That… that's it. This… this is my ringtone."

He quickly recorded Morgan saying "Papa" and "Mama" and set it as his mobile ringtone. Morgan giggled at the sound, clapping her tiny hands.

Roy, Pepper, Howard, and Marie were all speechless, just watching the small whirlwind of joy that was Morgan. Even Roy, who had seen countless cosmic events and catastrophic battles, couldn't help but feel his heart warm at the sight.

Roy:

"Well… that settles it. Morgan knows exactly who she loves."

Tony, still holding Morgan close, muttered with a grin:

Tony:

"…I can live with this."

Morgan hugged both Tony and Pepper simultaneously, squealing happily. Roy laughed softly, shaking his head. Howard and Marie smiled, utterly speechless at how their granddaughter had just taken over the house—and their hearts.
