Prologue: Past

You were just sixteen years old when you died—and had gotten reincarnated into a fairy tale world. Your favorite to be more precise. Little Red Riding Hood. As Red Riding Hood. Which you loved, you got to talk to the so beloved grandma, Red Riding Hood's mother, the hunter, and the so-called big bad wolf. Plus the villagers.

Though when you were five years old. You had finally gotten to meet the big bad wolf. While you were walking at the edge of the village. Only to find a wolf stuck in a trap and you decided to free the wolf. But the wolf growled and bore their fangs at you, which made you giggle.

"Hey don't bare your fangs at me! Can't you see I'm trying to help you?" You said with a smile as you bent down to see the trap the wolf was stuck in. The wolf just tilted his head as they looked up at you. But no longer baring their fangs at you. Making you smile even more. "Good boy!" You said as you used your right hand to pet their head lightly. As you continued to free the wolf. While the wolf tilted their head at you confused from you petting them.

Once the wolf was freed you stood up and patted your white dress getting some dirt off it. As the wolf slightly stood up, now walking in a circle. Stopping and bowing to you before running off into the forest.

(Note: This drawing isn't mine and for the rest of this book the drawings my not be mine. Depending on my mood. But---) "Aw, man! I didn't get to pet the wolf…" You whispered a bit sad before sighing and walking back to your mother's house.

(This is your house that you live in with your mother.)

Once you walked into your home you heard your mother cooking in the kitchen. Smelling your mother making spaghetti. "Mom is that spaghetti I smell!?" You yelled shocked as you ran to the kitchen. Slamming to the kitchen doorway, yelping as you fell to the ground.

Making your mother yell in surprise. Before wimping around to look at you, she held a spoon in the hand that was now firmly on her hip. "What the hell was that Y/n!" She yelled at you as she glared down at you. While you looked up to meet your mother's golden eyes. Seeing her brown hair was in a bun.

"Uh, nothing…" You said scared as your mother leaned over you and smacked you on the head. Making you squick in shock.

"That was not nothing! How many times have I told you not to run in the house!" Your mother yelled as she looked fiercely into your eyes. You gulped as you felt your mouth going dry, a loss for words.

"Well, whatever. Just don't do it anymore, alright?" Your mother said sweetly before turning away.

You sighed in relief as you got up off the floor. Dusting your dress and then headed up to your room. Until dinner time.

You were now sitting at the kitchen table, eating dinner with your mother as she discussed sending you to a private school. But you knew this wasn't gonna be an issue; since you were still gonna be here when you turned ten. According to the fairy tale.

You won't for sure if this world you are in now is still heavily based on the fairy tale you loved so much in your previous life.

It's been twelve and a half years later. You've befriended the big bad wolf, the hunter that would've killed the wolf, and made sure your grandmother didn't die, which would be another story for a different time.

Now it's your eighteenth birthday. Where everything will change...
