Because Kakashi had stormed off first, the second assembly of Team Minato (formerly 'Class Nine') ended abruptly once again.

While walking Rin home, Obito started complaining to Akira Tsubaki again.

"Did you see that? The 'Genius Ninja'? He didn't even say goodbye when he left."

"And that was after you gave him a whole bento box!"

"We should team up and kick Kakashi out of Team Minato!"

Obito pumped his fists into the air, loudly venting his frustration.

He felt that his own light was completely overshadowed by Kakashi—aloof, arrogant, and somehow even better-looking than him!

This was unbearable for Obito.

Correspondingly, he felt sure his good buddy Akira Tsubaki must be feeling the same resentment.

Regarding Obito's dramatic outburst, Akira Tsubaki really didn't feel like responding.

But since the two of them were a pair of Dead Lasts (Crane Tails) who had endured the Ninja Academy together, it would be rude not to react at all.

So.

Akira Tsubaki considered the matter seriously.

"I think you should focus on training hard right now!"

"Huh?"

Obito looked as if he'd just heard the most unbelievable thing.

You're the single worst student, and you're telling ME to train hard?

Where is your self-awareness?

Before Obito could retort, Akira Tsubaki spoke again.

"I'm going home to practice, too."

With that, he walked off with his hands in his pockets.

Uchiha Obito was left standing there with a look of utter confusion on his face.

Unbeknownst to Obito, when Akira Tsubaki returned home, he immediately lay down on a deck chair in the yard and started taking a nap.

He slept until midnight.

In the early morning hours.

Just as Akira Tsubaki anticipated, the System's voice rang out again.

"Beginning daily random doubling!"

"Physique doubled!"

Hearing the announcement, Akira Tsubaki looked down at his status panel.

Name: Akira Tsubaki

Age:12 years old

Strength:11 (9+2)

Physique:18 (9*2) – Genin Level

Dexterity:20 (18+2)-Genin Level

Spirit:20

Chakra Amount:69

Skills:None

Ninjutsu:None

Comprehensive Strength:Trainee Genin

Seeing that his four main attributes had all climbed out of single digits, Akira Tsubaki was ecstatic.

As for the 'Comprehensive Strength Evaluation' column? Naturally, he ignored it.

Next, he rested his chin on his hand and pondered.

"My Physique doubled, and my Strength and Dexterity also increased accordingly."

"So, among the four primary attributes, Physique is the most cost-effective."

Clenching his fist, Akira Tsubaki could feel his body becoming noticeably stronger.

To celebrate his newfound strength, he cooked himself a lavish late-night meal as a reward.

After all, this was a time for growing the body—there was no harm in eating more.

A brand new day had arrived.

Training Ground Nine.

"Hey! Akira Tsubaki, you're late again!"

Obito was flailing his arms, his voice incredibly loud.

It was as if he was afraid no one else would hear him.

"Akira Tsubaki, why are you late today?"

Minato Namikaze had a serious face and a stern tone.

Being late once was understandable, but twice in a row?

Does he think he's still in the Ninja Academy?

Chastised by Minato-sensei, Akira Tsubaki rubbed his stomach, drooped his head, and looked utterly lethargic.

"Sensei, I ate too much last night and stayed up all night."

He then raised his head, revealing two prominent bags under his eyes.

Minato Namikaze: "..."

At that moment, Minato Namikaze wanted to ask: Are you a pig? Don't you know when you're full?

"You… you ate so much you stayed up?" Rin, standing in the line, covered her mouth, her eyes wide.

"You thought you were Rin, eating that much!" Obito blurted out gleefully.

The second the words left his mouth, he realized his mistake and immediately clammed up.

"Obito, stop talking nonsense! I skipped breakfast yesterday, and Akira's food is delicious," Rin explained quickly.

"Childish!" Kakashi glanced at Obito, his tone ice-cold.

"Wait a minute! Kakashi, why are you glaring at me? Shouldn't you be glaring at Akira Tsubaki?" Obito shouted in confusion.

Akira was the one who was late! What did he mean, 'childish' at him?

Shouldn't you be scolding Akira Tsubaki?

Faced with the explosive Obito, Kakashi didn't even grant him a second glance, remaining perfectly aloof.

"Kakashi! I've had enough of you! I challenge you!"

"Ahem~~"

Akira Tsubaki coughed just at the right moment, offering a subtle reminder.

"Forget it, I'll let you off the hook again today!" Receiving the signal, Obito once again fabricated an excuse for himself.

On the field.

Minato Namikaze clutched his forehead; his head was throbbing.

He could clearly see that the team needed a mediator, and that person was Akira Tsubaki.

Without him, Team Minato might not last long and would have to be disbanded.

The farce was over, and Minato Namikaze began announcing the day's mission.

"Today's sole task is for you to demonstrate your Taijutsu (Hand-to-Hand Combat) and Ninjutsu (Ninja Techniques)!"

"Only by understanding each other's abilities can you cooperate more effectively."

"This is crucial for your future operations on the battlefield!"

With this instruction, Minato Namikaze looked toward Kakashi and gestured for him to start.

After all, Kakashi was the recognized genius; starting with him should inspire the fighting spirit of the others.

Under everyone's gaze.

Kakashi stepped out of the line.

Beneath his silver hair, his face was severe, and he slowly raised his right hand.

"Blade Technique!" (Katana Jutsu)

Accompanied by those two words, the Short Sword (Tantō) strapped to his back was instantly in his hand.

Whoosh!

Almost in the blink of an eye, his figure vanished and reappeared a few meters away.

A nearby tree trunk slipped down, cleanly severed by the Short Sword.

The cross-section was scorched black.

When Kakashi returned to the lineup, Obito was staring, wide-eyed.

Rin was full of admiration.

Akira Tsubaki yawned.

"Is that it? What about Ninjutsu?" Obito asked, confused.

Didn't Sensei say they had to show Taijutsu and Ninjutsu? Why did Kakashi only show a cutting technique? What about the other two categories?

"It wasn't just a cutting technique; it had Lightning Style (Raiton) chakra embedded in it!"

Minato Namikaze couldn't help himself and corrected the boy.

To prevent another pointless argument, he immediately motioned for Obito to go next.

Compared to Kakashi's simple blade technique, Obito's display was much more flamboyant.

He started with a set of Uchiha Taijutsu moves, then began forming Hand Seals (Mudras), spitting out a small Fireball (Katon).

Akira Tsubaki visually inspected it, estimating the fireball's diameter was decent, reaching an astonishing thirty centimeters.

Next up was Rin, who threw a Kunai and accurately struck a target on a large tree three meters away.

Finally.

It was Akira Tsubaki's turn.

Under the watchful eyes of all four of them.

Akira Tsubaki slowly walked out of the queue, tilted his head, and pondered for a moment.

"Taijutsu, hmm..."

"Ninjutsu, hmm..."

"The demonstration is complete!"

Done.

He walked back into the queue.

The other four people were absolutely dumbfounded.
