Chapter 2 - THE TROUBLE SON

*EPISODE 2*

Assembly ended, and students began dispersing to their classes. I walked calmly across the yard, my bag on my shoulder, observing the crowd. Whispers followed me — "new student," "he looks like trouble," "who is he?" — but I ignored them, keeping my cool.

As I entered my classroom, dozens of eyes immediately turned toward me. Some students whispered and pointed subtly, while others discussed me in hushed tones, trying to figure out the new arrival. I didn't respond. I simply scanned the room, picked an empty seat near the middle, and settled in, keeping my back straight and my mind calm.

Minutes passed, the classroom still buzzing with curious eyes and low murmurs, when a girl suddenly approached. She folded her arms, her expression unreadable, and without a word, reached for my bag, dragging it to the floor.

The sudden act caught the attention of everyone in the class. Some students pulled out their phones, filming the scene, clearly sensing drama. I looked up, meeting the eyes of the beautiful, arrogant girl standing before me.

Me: "What's your problem?" I asked, my voice calm, controlled.

Her lips curled into a smirk.

Lala: "You're sitting in my seat."

I slowly stood, adjusting my bag.

Me: "I met no one when I came in. And besides, I don't know how to ask someone to leave their seat. That's new to me."

Her expression darkened, and before I could react further, a sharp slap landed across my cheek. Gasps erupted from the students around us. My hand instinctively rose, ready to strike back, but I stopped myself. It was my first day, and I wasn't about to start a fight just yet.

I took a deep breath, ignoring the sting and the murmurs around us. Lala shouted, making a scene, clearly enjoying the attention. I shook my head slightly, my calmness unshaken, and moved toward another empty seat at the back of the classroom, placing my bag beside me.

The students continued to whisper, some still filming, some wide-eyed from the unexpected drama. I sat down slowly, keeping my gaze forward, letting Lala have her moment.

Inside, I smiled faintly — the first day of Bright College was already shaping up to be far more interesting than I had imagined.
