Cherreads

Chapter 291 - İki Yüz Doksan Bir

A handful of orcs had thrown themselves forward for millions standing behind them. Whatever the result would be, they had to play the role life assigned to them.

Ten meters remained between them and flames formed of grey rain and light; the great collision was within the distance of the blink of an eye.

At that moment, two pillars of light rose to the sky. One was black as night, the other redder than blood. They were cutting off the path of attacks sent by the Leader of the Black Lilies and Number Three of the Golden Crown.

Before orcs, two lights collided with them. Flames emitting light were getting lost inside the red color.

Night had fallen on the place where grey rain was; while eyes couldn't see eyes , the sound of droplets was decreasing gradually. The deadly feeling had flown away; not a sound was heard after the dazzling collision.

The duo present on the battlefield with their clones had fixed their eyes on the perpetrators of the change occurring at the last moment. What a coincidence that their targets were looking at them too.

"Who are you?"

Maria de León's father broke the silence; he didn't recognize the person preventing the attack he realized by using a large amount of his energy.

"Third Elder of the Golden Crown Ralph de León, are you arrogant enough not to learn the name of the person you want to kill?"

Nafız answered the question with another question. While energy overflowing from her body rose to the sky, her face was turned to the father and daughter floating in the air.

"I don't have time enough to learn the names of every insect I will step on!"

The old man was like an angel standing in the skies and looking at mortals living on earth; his words were mixing into the air slowly and spreading to the entire battlefield.

"Today, millions of insects will taste an arrogant human then!"

When Nafız completed her words, blood started to flow from her eyes. Blood flowing down to her neck by crossing her cheeks end to end was spreading to her entire trunk from there.

"Ainle take the army inside your barrier, everything remaining outside will die!"

Nafız's words were barely understood; as if she wasn't speaking but a creature coming from ancient ages was roaring. A moment later, the female orc bent double, her fists were tightly closed.

She didn't move for the duration of ten breaths; despite this, the color of the pillar rising to the sky was shining more and more.

Then a scream at a pitch to deafen ears was heard; Nafız was shouting toward the sky with her two hands opened to the sides.

Red symbols started to appear on her green skin. Her hair was changing too; short brown hair had now grown down to her waist and taken the color of blood red.

"Watch out!"

While the army taken under Ainle's protection observed changes experienced by the name who was a legend among orcs, the voice came from beside Severo lying curled on the ground.

The Leader of the Black Lilies warned the middle-aged man they were allies with; he was witnessing a disaster coming from the past.

Lineage Power Fourth Level - Blood God

The man with the grey robe murmured while looking at the orc whose red hair waved above her head. He was experiencing the scene shown from the war record when he took over the clan exactly the same.

Nafız, down from whose eye two red stripes advanced, was panting shortly; the balance of the father and daughter was disturbed due to the violence of the energy she emitted.

Ralph de León pulled himself together rapidly; the disdainful expression he put on at the beginning was replaced by eyes paying full attention.

"Wild Swamp Dungeons, Return of the Blood God quest completed!"

Nafız hearing the metallic voice ringing in her ear smiled lightly; after this movement, the blood of the middle-aged man would be drained.

"Maria join me, we must kill this creature!"

Father and daughter turned their staffs to her and started chanting magical words; they had planned to use long-range attacks.

"Cowards!"

The Blood God whispered with a tone between a growl and speech; opening her two arms to the side, she turned her palms to the sky. A breath later, blood started to gush from the pores of Army of Four Civilizations corpses lying on the ground.

"It is really her, Severo you are fleeing!"

As soon as the Leader of the Black Lilies grabbed the long-haired man lying on the ground by his collar, he turned his back; at the same time, the giant axe had appeared in front of his eye.

"No one is going anywhere, you will all die!"

Alyon, covered with black flames, had stood in front of a clan leader from the Hell Realm.

Orcs, who couldn't make a sound at Nafız's change, were shouting this time throwing off their astonishment.

"Kill Lord Alyon!"

"Take revenge for our kinsmen!"

All of them had become a single breath, a single mouth almost; they were behind the bulky orc. Alyon, opening his second lineage power with the power of faith coming from them, didn't hold himself back in the face of gradually accumulating energy.

Lineage Power Second Level - Chief's Frenzy

Black flames doubled instantly; Abarran's unique weapon was trembling madly.

"We attack together!"

The man with the Grey Robe knew the only salvation was to pass the orc in front of them; while both of their lives depended on this, a pair of swords appeared in his hand from nothingness.

The Leader of the Black Lilies threw himself onto Alyon rapidly. When the giant axe and pair of swords collided, colorful sparkles were thrown to the sky for a moment. Just when they were swallowed by black flames after shining for a few seconds, a scream rose from the other side of the battlefield.

The snow-white robe of the middle-aged man was covered with blood; despite this, Ralph de León, whose halo on his head weakened, directed flames accumulated at the tip of his staff toward Nafız.

"Just like this, don't you give up! Resist me until I see your life withdrawn from your veins!"

Daggers coming out of wristbands on her arm were as tall as an adult orc; every time she swung, limbs breaking off from corpses on the ground couldn't escape flying into the air.

The war had been continuing on the ground for a while; the father and daughter planning to attack from the sky arrogantly had already stepped on the ground covered with blood, mud, and filth long ago.

Nafız had directed blood droplets turning into millions of needles with her call onto them. The Third Elder of the Golden Crown would give up the sky where they were open targets in the face of attacks coming from four sides.

But this short-term solution hadn't been enough; defense shields the duo established were incapable of stopping the Blood God. The scariest part of the business was that while they weakened as they used their soul powers, their enemy seemed to get stronger moment by moment.

Ralph de León had fallen into the blind well of obscurity; he didn't care about orc armies or the Wild Swamp anymore, his only trouble was to defeat the creature looking like an orc in front of him.

There was something the man looking in his middle ages didn't know; while there were millions of corpses around, this place had turned into the kingdom of the Blood God. This was the name of the lineage power too: Blood God. An ability granting unstoppable momentum throughout this period to its user burning blood essence reserve.

"I will protect you, attack with all your power!"

Ralph de León took the defense part upon himself and ordered his daughter to respond to the enemy attacking incessantly.

Death was at the door; Maria de León didn't think twice. She summoned her contracted creature flown far away; the giant hawk coming to its master's side started to shrink gradually.

"Don't hesitate, attack!"

The beautiful woman was absorbing the power of the creature she raised for years, which was a kind of comrade to her, into her staff resembling a dry tree branch.

The giant hawk didn't resist; it disappeared slowly and mixed into nothingness. In return for this, a golden-colored spear appeared above the Holy Virgin's head.

Its blood, energy, soul, all were inside this spear; for the sake of a single attack, the noble son of the skies had lost his life.

"Die!"

Maria de León shouted with anger; there was no trace of her arrogant state at the beginning of the war. Her loss had activated the most primitive feelings inside her; her only wish was the death of the orc approaching by waving her hair grown down to her waist.

The Golden Spear appeared in front of Nafız immediately after disappearing from sight; no one had seen when it covered the distance in between. The weapon gathering all its energy at the small point at its tip was one span in front of the Blood God's throat.
