"How was I?"
Ralf was breathing with difficulty; the Basilisk had fed on his blood along with his enemies. To avoid killing its owner, the sword had retracted the snake tail entering his arm, but the destruction it created was massive. Ralf's sword was a double-edged knife. If he wanted to use it fully, he needed to acquire other abilities too.
"Not bad! I had seen dumber than you!"
Nafız left Ralf next to Lareina and then walked to the middle of the battlefield. The eyes of the sect notables, the Clan stands, the Fiefdom area, and the watching public turned to her.
"The surviving five of the Six Clan representatives, are you ready to die?"
After a silence lasting five breaths, all hell broke loose. Following Ralf's brutal finish, this challenge got the thousands of spectators riled up. They were stomping their feet so hard on the ground that the battlefield below the ground was trembling violently.
"Insolent bastard!"
The moment two words spilled from the lips of the man standing at the very front of the Black Lily Clan stand, Nafız turned her head in that direction.
"Did the person who begged a barbarian orc for his son's life speak?"
"You little bitch!"
The clan leader broke and threw the wooden railing in front of him as he took it in his palms. In response to this move, Nafız drew Mora's training daggers. The voices ceased; something never seen before was happening. A disciple who had just entered the sect this year was talking tough to one of the Six Clans, and to the Clan Leader at that.
"If you want, come in place of the loser I killed in the Blood Valley!"
It was unbelievable. It was a known fact that there were deaths inside the Blood Valley, but Nafız was confessing with her own mouth that she killed the youth he loved like his own son.
The clan leader took a step towards the void; his body was about to follow him. A sneeze coming from the highest point in the area froze him along with everyone else.
"What's going on man, isn't the fight starting?"
The blind drunk Sheikh spoke lifting his head from the breasts of the two beauties. His nose had turned bright red; he could barely open his eyes.
"Team 1, step onto the battlefield!"
Unable to wait for the fight official, the Third Elder gave the order himself. The representatives of the five clans calmly stood up and walked as if they were not in this world. How could they remain so calm when they were surrounded by people who had lost themselves?
When all five stood before the red-haired girl, Jashua wanted to step forward, but Nafız stopped the Young Count once again.
"Are you going to fight alone? I have a bad feeling inside!"
"Are you going to just leave those next to you and come?"
Nafız countered the question with another question. Jashua looked to his right and left. Lareina and Ralf were vulnerable at the moment; if he left their side, anything could happen to them.
"I also sense there is a weirdness, but relax, I am not alone this time!"
As soon as Nafız's words finished, a white light appeared in the sky and a breath later descended onto the battlefield like a comet. Right next to her, one step to her right, there was someone dressed in white from head to toe. The Sheikh, who was dozing off about to pass out, jumped up with excitement.
"Wow you little rascal, did you come?"
The youth, who had combed his white hair neatly to the side, greeted the sheikh by bowing his head slightly. Then two white katanas appeared in the hands of the youth who turned his face to the enemy.
"I thought for a moment you would never come?"
"I don't think we will experience such a day?"
"Well then, which ones would you like to take?"
"How about all of them. I've been away for a long time; I would like to say hello to everyone!"
"As you wish, Alis!"
Nafız suddenly turned her back and started walking towards Jashua's side. While the crowd of spectators, tongue-tied from astonishment, was silent, objections rose from the Clan Stands.
"Can such a thing happen?"
"The last battle is being fought. Where did this guy come from?"
"This is unfair, it's against the rules!"
While the leaders maintained their silence, the people behind them started shouting with all their might. Their voices came out so loud that the Third Elder even showed the courage to speak on their behalf.
"His Excellency the Sheikh, taking a participant at the last moment is an unprecedented event. It would be against the rules if we don't take the newly appeared person from the battlefield. What would you like us to do?"
The words of the man speaking hissing with his forked tongue stopped the noise. Now, eyes were turned between the two lips of the Sheikh.
"So, this is an unprecedented event!"
Atractivo slightly straightened up from the three-person seat he was buried in; calmly putting the wine glass in his hand on the table, he started speaking.
"Well then, my Left Arm. Has it been seen before that clan people could shout while within the borders of the Holy Blood Sect?"
Ice-cold winds began to blow; the question might have come to the Third Elder, but its real addressee was the Second Elder.
"Let's come to the rules; about a year ago, you were lined up like dogs like this again and I had told you some things, but I guess you forgot what you heard very quickly. There is only one rule in these lands, and that is me. Every word coming out of my mouth is law, whatever I want is the rule.
Now, before I take you instead of the two beauties next to me and go into seclusion, let the battles begin!"
The final word was said; taking his glass in his hand, the Sheikh bottomed it up, and the five opposite Alis also drew their weapons. Spear, sword, mace and shield, dagger, bow showed themselves in front of the white-dressed youth.
"Begin!"
After the Battle Official gave his instruction, he took a step to go out of the arena and saw Alis in front of him.
"Finished!"
Seeing Alis cleaning the blood on them by swinging his swords, the man jumped back two steps in panic. The person who was supposed to be at the other end of the Arena had appeared right beside him in a breath. Then came five sounds; these were the sounds the clan representatives made when they fell to the ground.
These people, with cuts across their torsos, had died before they could even find the opportunity to be in death throes. The spectators were shouting in unison. The young boy, whose whereabouts were wondered at the beginning of the battle, had come like a comet and ended the battle with his attack resembling the god of death.
"Ignorants!"
Only a single voice rose over the silent Clan Stands. This was followed by the five Clan Representatives getting up from where they lay. As if nothing had happened, they calmly picked up their weapons falling to the ground and headed towards Alis; the priority was taken by the arrow coming piercing the air.
Alis, clad in white from head to toe, suddenly disappeared. When the arrow entered the Battle Official's shoulder, the five representatives were on the ground again. When they stood up once again before five breaths passed, there was a large cross mark made of blood on their torsos.
"This fight seems like it will last long!"
Alis murmured to himself; although he gifted his enemies fatal wounds twice, they were able to stand up again.
"What is this?"
"They should have been dead by now?"
When thousands of people started speaking in unison, the noise filled the void at the speed of light. Among all those voices, one was very close to the Sheikh's ears, and its tone wasn't pleasant at all.
"What courage is this? How dare they show the audacity to turn their representatives into zombies with the technique of another sect and make them fight inside the Holy Blood Sect!"
The Second turned his direction to the Clan Stands, stood up, and was about to move towards them.
"Sit in your place, my Right Arm. Just when I started having a bit of fun, don't ruin this!"
Sheikh Atractivo wasn't disturbed by the developing events; in fact, judging by his state, he wasn't even very aware of what was happening.
Having to restrain himself, the Second continued to remain standing. At the same moments, Alis had pruned his opponents once again, but the five were persistently standing up.
"Today is your unlucky day, losers. When it comes to long-lasting battles, you are facing the last person you would want to come across!"
Filling his lungs with a deep breath, Alis brought his two weapons in front of him and blew on them. The katanas started vibrating crazily, and a breath later, a blue energy layer appeared on them.
