Chapter 7 - First judge

This is ridiculous. Yesterday, I had to reset the afternoon more than 100 times just to be able to kidnap Himari without getting caught, and now I've just been dragged and stabbed in an alley.

I started thinking about another route to get to our houses while avoiding the murderer as I opened my eyes, but I felt something grab my head. The moment I could open my eyes, I noticed a person looking at me with crazy eyes, hooded, and I couldn't see him in the darkness.

A knife was raised over me, and it was plunged into my temple. I began to bleed out little by little until I died, then I returned to the same point. Looking to the left, I noticed the hooded man approaching, then he grabbed me and stabbed me in the temple again.

What the hell am I doing here? I never felt even remotely safe. Besides, Himari doesn't seem to know anything about this situation, so I'm sure there's a third party interfering with the save points.

During my thoughts, I was stabbed in the temple again. As long as I don't move, the stabbing method is different. The problem is that where he stabs me doesn't kill me immediately, so I'll have to look for a series of movements that provoke him to kill me faster to spend less time bleeding out, and concentrate on how to beat him.

Before he grabbed my wrist, I put my whole arm in front of him, but he reacted quickly, stabbing my neck, which takes a long time to kill a person.

On the next attempt, I kicked his stomach, but he barely reacted to my movement, coming closer to stab me in the heart.

On the next attempt, I approached him, kneed him, and grabbed his wrist with my right hand. He started struggling, so I hit his head with my left to confuse him, then wrapped his neck with my arm, putting us at point-blank range, where I started kneeing him in the stomach, but he resisted all of them and then stabbed my neck.

Damn it. He comes from the same manhwa that Himari is from, I'm sure of that. Although superhumans exist in this world thanks to 'Power', few reach this guy's level, and I'm sure there are more ridiculous people coming from this.

I stood in front of him, this time with a more threatening posture. For now, his stomach is a strong point; logically, his chest and back are too. I put the right side of my body forward, then balanced, and my fist hit his face hard, which caused him great confusion.

Direct hits are harder for him to endure!

Even with an advance, the guy quickly recovered while I was reveling in the ecstasy of my discovery, so he stabbed me in the neck squarely again.

After going through several more attempts, I noticed that even though his face is his weak point, he still took the punishment quite well, plus he easily stabbed vital areas. Anyway, it's not like I planned to come out of this fight too injured.

Another disadvantage is that I can't pull him out of the alley because Himari is there, and apparently, she freezes easily in these types of situations. Tsk, that's why I hate the plot conveniences given in those kinds of stories. I kidnapped her, and she reacted, fought with someone, and is colder than ice.

I started dying too much; I wasn't achieving truly significant results, so I decided to change my perspective. After dying, I let him grab me, trying to find something that would allow me to reverse that situation to break him psychologically a little.

When I was on the ground, I noticed he wasn't really close. As he approached, crouching, I got an idea. I pushed my center of gravity to the top of my back, then put my hands on the ground to maintain balance, then raised both legs and gave him a direct kick with both to the face.

It wasn't perfect, but it did some damage; he even closed his eyes. But he managed to gather strength to stab me in the temple.

Upon returning, I let him pull me, but this time I did the double kick faster, then I gave a direct hit to his hand, making his knife fall. Then I grabbed it, having control of the situation.

I inhaled and exhaled calmly, then focused my gaze on him. I quickly lunged in his direction, feinted with the knife, and then gave him a strong blow with my right hand, right after I kicked his stomach, and when he fell to the ground, I got on top of him to stab his throat.

It's going to be complicated to get out of this. As far as I know, it's now impossible not to recognize that I perpetrated this crime, but I think using the law of self-defense for both the man and the woman and getting evidence that he's a maniac, I'll be able to get out of this without problems.

I thought of the place as my home, safe and cozy. Feeling that the save point was created, I grabbed the assassin's phone and tried a password with only numbers. After using up all attempts, I killed myself, tried again and again until I managed to get in.

When I could access the phone, I went directly to his gallery, where I not only found photos of Himari taken without her knowledge, but there were also photos of underage actresses. With this, I will definitely be able to get out of this problem.

I turned to look at Himari, who was just starting to react. I grabbed her hand and took her around the corner. "I'll stay here, you go home."

If I were to go back in time, I would know there's someone waiting for her ahead, but if nothing happens, I'll be able to handle this whole case more easily.

It's stupid to me that women never do anything in these types of dangerous situations. It's like they deactivate a character in your favorite game for no reason. Her personality is strong enough that she could have helped me a little.

With my own phone, I called the police and explained the situation to them, using the tone of a concerned citizen about what had happened.

...

I started walking home alone as Uragiri told me. I knew he was dangerous, but I never expected he was capable of killing a person... Although I can say it was in self-defense... now that I think about it, could it be said he was defending me?

Now that I saw him in action, he doesn't seem like such a bad catch... I guess it's better to think about this than what just happened.

As I walked, I saw a stone that I started kicking along the way.

When I got home, I saw my father sitting, who jumped up upon hearing me arrive and then stood in front of me. "Since I saw your clothes, I knew what was going to happen, but your arriving at this hour gives me enough evidence! Did someone dare to invite my little girl out?!"

My jaw dropped, clearly surprised by his tone. "It's not that big of a deal, besides, we're just friends."

"There's no such thing as friendship between a man and a woman, especially at your age!" My father raised his right foot and firmly placed it back on the ground.

He approached me with a malicious smile. "You know the tradition. If you go out with a boy, you have to invite him to dinner, unless you want me to go to your university and look for him there."

I was stunned on the spot. It's not the first time he's said this, but I just moved, and I don't want to imagine how bad that would be. "Well..."

I started going up the stairs to head to my room. When I arrived, I threw myself on the bed. It's not like Uragiri and I are dating, but... I guess it's not entirely bad that he gets to know my parents.

I took out my phone and opened my chat with Uragiri. He had put himself as just his name in my contacts. I was about to write when out of nowhere I heard my door open.

As an instant reaction, I turned off my phone and slammed it on the bed, then lay on top of it.

My mother entered my room as if nothing had happened. She didn't say a word to me until she sat on my bed. "What's the name of the lucky guy who's your new boyfriend?" she asked insensitively.

I yelled at her without a doubt. "We're not a couple, and we're not flirting! We're just friends!"

Mom just laughed a little and then looked me straight in the eyes. "Are you sure? Then I want you to tell me: Why did you accept your father's request? Besides, your face says the complete opposite." Hearing my mother, I turned to look at myself in my room's mirror.

My face was completely red, almost as much as my hair. "Argh. Just get out!"

I pushed her towards my door, opened it, then shoved her out and finally closed it.

I lay back down on my bed and opened my phone, where I could see a new message from Uragiri. "I need you to go to this address tomorrow to give a testimony of what happened." It came with an attached address.

"Ok, but I'll need a favor."

"I guess."

"What do you need?" He wrote both things in separate messages.

"Come to my house on Saturday at 1:00 pm."

After a few seconds, he responded with a thumbs-up emoji.

I raised my right arm in a victory gesture. Then I changed my clothes and went to sleep.
