Chapter 14 - Card

What can I do? Himari and Uragiri advanced too much in their relationship. In my mind, there's the ABC of love: Hug, kiss, and f*ck. Those two didn't get to the third only because they were on public ground.

I'm sure that if they go on a date, they'll end up in a motel. It could even happen that one invites the other to their house, and if there are no parents, they'd do it.

From my point of view, there's no way to stop that. I haven't spoken to either of them. I'm too embarrassed to address Uragiri, and I haven't had the opportunity to talk to Himari.

Right now, I'd be like a character who was introduced but has never directly interacted with the main plot.

They just separated 10 minutes ago. During the 7 minutes they were together, I had to keep people away from them. There wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't for the fact that Uragiri didn't remove his hand from her butt.

Round...

They separated recently. I could tell Uragiri that we should go buy new books for the literature club. Given how distracted and happy he is, I'm sure he'll accept.

I started walking around, looking to 'coincidentally' run into Uragiri. I found him sitting on a bench in the courtyard.

I approached him and bowed. "Hello. I know we haven't talked. My name is Selena; I'm the president of the literature club."

He looked me directly in the eyes, noticing me for the second time in a while. "Hello, how can I help you?" He had a silly smile on his face; it was impossible not to notice that something good had happened to him.

I straightened up. "I'm thinking about starting to buy books together with the other club members so that everyone can choose at least one book from time to time. So I'd like to invite you to go shopping, and don't worry, all the books will be bought with the club's budget."

Uragiri didn't look surprised; if it hadn't been for what happened earlier, he would have been serious. "Well... I can do Thursday of next week."

I repressed the urge to smile and responded with a serious tone. "That sounds good." After saying it, I left the place.

I went to the room where we read and store the books. Since I'm the only one with the key, I started jumping with excitement and smiling the moment I entered.

Yes yes yes yes yess!! I already have a date! With this, I can make him notice me. I only have one chance, and I'll take advantage of it. I have 9 days to learn more about him. I grabbed my backpack, where I had several things, but the most important thing was a change of clothes, completely black, a mask of the same color, and some... 'self-defense' items.

...

I would have liked to stay longer like we were, but I felt something watching us very intently. What a shame.

Now I have to think about my surveillance plan. After all, today I'm going to meet Anna at the store, so I'll get ahead and observe her from a distance.

A confident smile appeared on my face, then I looked at my phone to open my chat with Himari. She confessed to me; we just need to formalize the relationship, so I plan to finish all the Anna business before the vacations to spend more time with her.

I took out my phone and sent a message to Sameru. "I need your help with something next week."

Now I'll have to go to where Anna is and wait for her, but first I'll go home.

I started walking towards my house. The journey was calm; nothing and no one tried to kill me as has happened lately.

Upon arriving home, I grabbed my darkest pants and shirt, then went to the convenience store and bought a black mask, and then put on some polarized black glasses.

I reflected myself in the mirror. No matter who saw me, I looked like a textbook stalker, and they wouldn't be wrong. Still, I need this to understand Anna.

Last time she was hesitant to buy; I'm sure she had money, but she couldn't pay for some reason. So now I'll go spy on her and find answers.

My body hit the sofa dryly; I sat down and set an alarm for a few hours later, exactly at the time I found Anna.

The sound of the alarm began to resonate throughout my house, so I turned it off and stood up to start walking towards the convenience store.

She will be the second girl from the story, which could be problematic in the future. Normally, the enemies become stronger and stronger as the plot progresses. Will I be able to resist until the end? I don't even want to imagine the final enemy.

During the walk, I noticed Anna wasn't in the store; she was across the street, walking calmly. I wonder where she's coming from.

Noticing that we were both walking at the same pace, I slowed mine so she would get in front of me. When I was behind her, I noticed the beauty of her hair, waving to the rhythm of the wind, precious and almost shining, unlike the numbing cold that the night made you feel.

I think she's a bit similar to Himari, only I haven't seen her from behind, and I certainly haven't been following her like a weirdo.

Anna entered the store and started looking for ramen; she soon left my sight. I stayed there for an hour waiting for her until she finally came out from where she was with a basket full of all kinds of food.

She walks calmly to the counter and takes out a card. No, actually she wasn't calm; when taking out the card, she trembled a lot; her hand seemed to have Parkinson's from the intensity of the movement; even her knees began to betray her.

After paying, the cashier put her things in a bag and Anna grabbed it. She opened her phone with her right hand and looked for something, then made a call, and finally put it away.

She said goodbye to the cashier with a nervous smile and left the place, which is when I went into action. I moved sideways to where she was.

It seems she has problems related to transactions, but I don't know if I should do it... I gave myself a small slap on my thigh and approached her. I slapped her butt and then touched her right back pocket a little to steal her card. Then I took some of my money with my left hand and left it in her pocket.

Ugh, I can't take it anymore.

I ran out of there while thinking I needed forgiveness from some god. I hope the card has something to do with her problem and I can redeem this.

Thanks to running like crazy, I arrived home quickly. I opened the door and closed it, then took off my mask and breathed a bit better. I'm fine now. Now I need to check this.

I grabbed the card and held it up to the light. It has images and things from another country. I checked everything on it and realized where it's from: "land of samba and carnival." She must be from there; that explains why she has such a perfect tan.

She's a foreigner and is afraid to use her card.

I turned the card over and noticed a long number. It's a phone number! With this, I can return it to her and tell her to look for the person who stole it. After finishing seeing the obvious on the card, I decided to go for the hard part.

I went to my computer and started looking for which bank it was, then I created an account and filled in the card details to access it. When I entered, I noticed she had almost 2 million.

I searched through the card data; the bank movements were few, all coming from different countries. I leaned back in my chair. This is strange; she has too much money, but she doesn't spend it. Why? My brow furrowed too much, but then I remembered something.

I went into the card data and then looked for who accessed the transactions; within it were only me and Anna, but then I went into the code and searched more, much more.

3 months ago, a person accessed the card data. I went back to the beginning of the code that showed the most recent data, but then I saw how someone entered.

I did Control A instantly, only to see the data erase instantly. Still, I managed to copy it in time.

I pasted all the code into Word, then deleted everything except the new person who had accessed the data. I have it. I have everything I need to know who's doing this!
