Harley stared wide-eyed at the massive, steaming Jacuzzi that looked like a small swimming pool.

"I'm going to take a bath! For a whole hour! Haha!"

Right in front of Homelander, she cheered as she stripped off her tattered, mud-stained clothes and dove into the Water like a mermaid.

"Are you coming too, Mr. Milk Candy?"

Harley leaned against the edge of the tub and gave Homelander a sultry wink, her wet hair clinging to her face with a unique charm.

"Later."

Homelander smiled; although the view before him was enticing, he had more important things to do.

"Alright... then hurry up." Harley pouted and submerged into the Water.

Carrying Superman, Homelander arrived at an empty inner chamber of the Shelter.

"Come out, Ego." With a wave of his hand, the master ball opened.

A flash of White light appeared, and Ego's brain floated before him.

"Master, your loyal servant is at your service at any time." Ego's tone was fawning and respectful.

"Cut the nonsense."

Homelander pointed at Superman's corpse.

"This is an alien from a place called Kryptonian; he's amazing, able to absorb radiation from a Yellow Star and convert it into powerful energy."

"I want to know how he turns sunlight into power."

"As you wish, my Master."

Ego's blue brain throbbed slightly, and countless energy tentacles, thin as gossamer, slowly reached into Superman's body lying on the ground.

"This... this is simply a work of art."

A greedy exclamation resonated from Ego's mental fluctuations.

"Even without the spark of life, this shell still maintains incredible activity on a microscopic level. Master, I must admit, in my long life, I have rarely seen such a perfect biological vessel."

"Enough talk, Ego," Homelander said impatiently. "I don't want to hear your sentiments. What are the results?"

"It will still take some time. This species... his life structure is simply a miracle of evolution. To fully analyze the mechanism of converting stellar radiation into Bio-Kinetic Energy... it might take two or three hours."

"Two or three hours?"

Homelander turned his gaze toward the bathroom; the sound of splashing Water and a woman's out-of-tune humming reached his ears.

"Fine, that's just enough time for me to get some cardio in."

Homelander turned and left, waving his hand without looking back.

"Don't make me wait too long; you know I don't have much patience."

...The bathroom was filled with steam.

The former owner of this Doomsday Bunker was clearly a hedonistic bastard; the edge of the massive Jacuzzi was inlaid with gold, and thick fragrant foam floated on the surface of the Water.

Harley Quinn was piling bubbles on her head, shaping them into a comical crown.

When she saw Homelander walk in, her eyes immediately lit up like two glowing lightbulbs.

"Hey! Mr. Milk Candy!" Harley scooped up a handful of Water and splashed it at Homelander. "You're finally here! I thought you got lost!"

Homelander reached for his collar and began slowly unzipping his uniform.

"Do you like it here?"

"Love it!" Harley spun around in the Water like a crazed mermaid. "There's hot water, soft beds! And a wine cabinet full of champagne!"

"And..." She stood up from the Water, unhesitatingly showing off her tight and explosive physique, droplets of Water sliding down her fair White skin.

"And what else?" Homelander asked knowingly, with a bit of a smirk.

Harley stepped forward, wrapped her arms around Homelander's neck, and pulled hard.

And Homelander leaned forward with the momentum.

Splash!

The two of them fell into the Water together.

"Be careful, Little Pumpkin." Homelander supported her waist with one hand and lifted her up so her eyes were level with his. "In my current state... I might break you."

"Break me?"

Harley laughed maniacally, cupping Homelander's face with both hands.

"Then break me! Please! Tear me apart! Let me see what you've got!"

For the next while, the Shelter seemed to undergo a miniature storm.

With their bodies still wet, they moved from the bathroom to the large bed in the bedroom, and then to the carpet in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows.

"You're mine! You're mine! Don't think about saving the World! Save me first!"

Harley was like a wild Fire that never burned out; her passion, her madness, and her unreserved devotion gave Homelander a pleasure he had never experienced before... until two hours later.

Finally, after a scream so long it felt like an out-of-body experience, Harley went completely limp in Homelander's arms.

Her eyes lost focus, her body still twitched uncontrollably, and a faint whimpering sound came from her throat.

"Is... is it over..."

Harley's eyes rolled back, her fingers weakly clutching Homelander's arm, a trace of glistening saliva hanging from the corner of her mouth.

"I thought... I was going to die in your arms..."

"That would be a good way to go, wouldn't it?" Homelander patted her cheek and said, "Time to sleep, Little Pumpkin."

"Mmm... one more time..." Harley mumbled dizzily, but her body had completely gone on strike. Closing her eyes, her head lolled to the side, and she fell fast asleep directly on Homelander's chest.

She even started snoring softly.

Homelander shook his head as he looked at the woman sleeping like a log.

After giving Harley a quick wipe, he tossed her onto a large round bed and covered her with a blanket.

"Goodnight, crazy woman."

...Homelander put on a silk bathrobe and returned to the laboratory.

Ego was still hovering over Superman's corpse, the blue light more active than before.

"Are you finished, Ego?" Homelander stepped forward and asked. "What have you found? Don't tell me you've just been admiring his abs for the past two hours."

"The situation is more complex than I imagined, but also more surprising."

Ego's voice sounded somewhat excited.

He controlled several tentacles, in the air projecting a complex 3D hologram. It was an enlarged model of Superman's cells, looking like breathing golden stars.

"Look here," Ego's tentacles guided him, "this is a Biological Cellular Matrix. It can not only release a powerful Bio-Force Field but also capture specific wavelengths of stellar radiation, especially the yellow spectrum."

"Once these photons enter his body, they undergo a Photonic Nuclear Effect conversion."

"Photonic Nuclear Effect?" Homelander raised an eyebrow.

"Simply put, it's the process of instantaneously converting electromagnetic radiation into high-density biological energy and storing it in the cellular matrix."

"This energy not only strengthens his muscles and bones but also triggers special reactions within his cells, giving him an indestructible body and strength beyond limits, even giving rise to various extraordinary abilities."
