Chapter 198 - Chapter 198: The Dubai Prince—Unexpectedly, Mavi’s ‘Creditor’

"Your Highness, the Prince?" Mavi was momentarily stunned upon hearing this. He couldn't help but wonder to himself, Did I overdo it this time…?

Mavi had assumed that the Dubai royal family's private jet would also be an Airbus A380. To avoid any embarrassment in case his Bombardier looked too small when they met at the airport, he had chosen to bring his own A380 instead.

However, to his surprise, in 2001, the Dubai prince's plane was still just a Boeing 747. If the prince disembarked and saw that Mavi's aircraft was actually bigger than his—especially here in Dubai, his own country—it could be quite an awkward situation for him…

As Mavi was lost in thought, a young man dressed in traditional Emirati white robes and wearing simple sandals stepped off the Boeing 747, his gaze fixed in Mavi's direction.

Just as expected, the Dubai prince was particularly interested in the A380 parked next to his aircraft, stealing the spotlight. Especially when he noticed that two familiar faces—Amur and Amir—were also present.

The prince, accompanied by his bodyguards, walked directly toward Mavi and the others.

"That… looks like the Crown Prince. And behind him, that's the Princess…" Amur and Amir were momentarily stunned. They hadn't expected the Dubai prince to approach them.

"Your Highness, the Prince!" The two hurried forward to greet him, afraid of offending the royal.

"Hmm, is this your friend?" The Crown Prince of Dubai—known as "the most handsome and wealthiest man in the world"—exuded a noble presence that had enchanted countless women.

"Yes, Your Highness. His name is Mavi, and he's from Russia," Amur and Amir answered truthfully.

After listening to their response, the Dubai prince turned to Mavi and asked, "This A380—is it yours?"

"Yes, Your Highness," Mavi replied as modestly as possible. He had no intention of causing any unpleasantness with the Dubai royal family over the size of their aircraft.

Fortunately, his concerns were unnecessary. The prince simply nodded slightly before asking, "May I take a look inside? I've been considering getting an A380 myself recently."

For someone as wealthy as the Dubai prince, money wasn't a factor—just like Mavi, he bought things purely for fun. A multi-million-dollar aircraft was nothing more than an extravagant toy.

"Of course," Mavi said, extending his right hand in a welcoming gesture.

His A380 was no ordinary private jet—it was an airborne palace, fully customized for the pinnacle of luxury. The economy class, business class, and first-class sections had all been removed, and the entire aircraft was redesigned to match the standards of a seven-star hotel.

Every seat was handcrafted in Italy, offering a level of comfort beyond that of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or a Maybach.

The cabin included a gourmet kitchen, a spa, an entertainment center, and even lavish suites. One of the suites featured a massive high-definition television, which had cost Mavi a small fortune. Not to mention the "Royal Handmade Bed" in front of the TV—an exquisite, custom-made wooden bed that alone cost a staggering $1 million (equivalent to 8 million yuan). That was enough to buy two Ferrari supercars!

That said, quality came at a price. The comfort of the handmade bed was unmatched—it supported every inch of the body, eliminating any aches or discomfort.

As Mavi guided the prince and princess through his luxurious flying hotel, the two Dubai royals were deeply impressed. It didn't take long before they decided they needed an A380 as well—and they planned to customize it just like Mavi's.

"Mavi, is that a bathroom over there? You actually have a shower onboard?" the Dubai prince asked curiously, pointing toward a room in the distance.

At the time, no private jet had ever been equipped with a shower. Mavi's innovative design was setting a new precedent in the world of luxury aviation.

"Yes, Your Highness, that's a bathroom," Mavi answered humbly. As he spoke, the Dubai princess stood quietly beside him, gazing at him intently.

Her delicate features suggested that she had been a beauty since childhood, and she would undoubtedly grow even more stunning in the years to come. Every smile and expression she made could easily captivate countless men…

"May I take a look inside?" the prince asked politely.

"Of course, be my guest," Mavi replied just as courteously.

However, before the prince could step inside, Mavi's butler, Ivan, suddenly approached him with a satellite phone.

"Young Master, it's a call from Stephan, the CEO of Lamborghini. He wants to update you on the two automotive research labs you've invested in—they've both been completed."

Mavi nodded and turned to the prince and princess. "Pardon me, I need to take this call."

Even though he was trying to maintain a low profile, his effortless elegance and luxury were undeniable. Amur and Amir, watching from the side, couldn't help but feel envious. They wondered if they would ever be able to carry themselves with such effortless prestige in front of the Dubai royal family, like their friend Mavi…

As Mavi stepped aside to answer his call, the Dubai prince lost interest in the bathroom tour and instead summoned Amur and Amir. Lowering his voice, he asked, "Your Russian friend—what's his connection with Lamborghini? Is he a major shareholder?"

Earlier this year, Lamborghini had held a global auction for the limited-edition Reventón and Veneno models. Being a passionate supercar enthusiast, the Dubai prince had followed the auction closely.

In fact, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that during the entire 28-day auction period, he checked daily to see if anyone had outbid him. The moment someone did, he immediately raised his bid—he was determined to secure those two Lamborghini hypercars.

So when he overheard Mavi's conversation with the Lamborghini CEO just now, the prince became extremely curious. He wanted to know when the two hypercars he had bid on would be developed and delivered to him.

(Mavi had acquired Lamborghini in a discreet manner—there had been no media coverage, no press conference.)

"Your Highness, we're not exactly sure," Amur and Amir admitted. "But we can ask him for you later!"

They weren't fully aware of Mavi's business empire. However, if he turned out to be the chairman of Lamborghini, they wouldn't be surprised. At this point, it seemed entirely possible.

"Ahem! Apologies for the delay," Mavi said as he returned from his phone call—completely unaware that his biggest 'creditor' had just overheard the conversation.

A debt collection was inevitable…
