A young man of about twenty was at home relaxing after a hard day's work in a mind numbing 9-5. He flicked mindlessly through short-form videos killing off his attention span. His mother walked into the room, "Neo! You still haven't left to go and get the milk?"
The young man Neo, looked up and said exasperatedly "I'm going! Sorry mom I got carried away watching based edits of - Actually never mind." Neo jumped up grabbed his coat and rushed out of the modest abode.
Moving down the street he thought about what some might say are wasteful and stupid ideas, mainly what it would be like to be reincarnated in another world, where he could be OP, have a harem of hotties and have the admiration of a world. "Sounds fucking nice but unfortunately it's not attainable. Fuck me, I wiil be stuck stacking shelves for my whole life in this economy." Neo grumbled.
As he crossed the same road he always did, to get to the shop on the corner he suddenly heard a horn screeching and before he could lament at his horrible luck he was struck and the pitch black void greeted him.

Neo awoke in a realm of contradictions, otherworldly, a real where up is down and right is left. Where light blazed from all around holy and serene. Before Neo could bask in this craziness he heard an annoying laugh from behind, or was it the front?
"Hahaha how stupid! How could a child of mine die like that?!" Neo kicked into the voice it was a young man who looked around his age, but seemingly for someone so powerful looked plain. Neo shouted to him annoyed "Hey! Who the fuck are you?!"
The man turned from looking into seemingly nothing and walked to Neo before saying with a grin "You baby daddy!" Neo was shook, "Dafuq!?" The man laughed again arrogantly "Yes I get bored easily so I went to your world for some fun, your mom was so hot u had to have her, banged her good, got her preggo and decided to ditch. No way in hell am I father material."
Neo at this time was flabbergasted "How? What? Wait, where am I then if I died dear old dad?" Neo collected himself quickly.
"I am the God of this universe and thus is my private realm, I brought your soul here." He said matter if factly. Neo looked at his 'body ' but all he saw was a white apparition. "Huh, well fuck. Wait if you are such a big deal I should be a demi-god or something how come I was so normal on earth?"
His father laughed like he had remembered a fond memory from eons past "You had older siblings in the past and they were demi gods as I injected some dininve essence into the woman when I- well you know... But they tried to overthrow me and carve up the universe for themselves now they are rotting in a place worse than hell... " At thus point his father's easy going demanour changed becomeling oppressive, like a tyrant.
Neo scratched his non existent hair" Chill dad, it ain't that deep. So let me get this straight I am just or was a normal human because you didn't want to have a repeat of history? Smart."
His father seemed to snap out of his dangerous reverie" Fear not my favourite son, I will go you out. It was kinda sad how your life the life of my own son ended and I kind of fell guilty for screwing you by keeping you human. So! I will grant you a second life I know how much you say dreamed it was sad actually. " Neo objected" Hey! No fair man." His father laughed as he held up his hands" Alright, calm down. Considering this I will send you to another world and give you three wishes choose wisely."
Neo's eyes lit up " Finally, child support is being issued! Mom don't worry, dad is doing his part now!"
Neo's dad clicked his to fue at his son's antics." Quick, you have twenty seconds."
Neo looked hurt as he said" Worst dad if the year. Whatever, right what should I pick?"
