Chapter 161: The deal
West Blue.
The sili Kingdom.
Inside a massive, magnificent castle.
"Godfather, Doflamingo has arrived."
In a somewhat dim room, Capone Bege sat on a luxurious sofa as a subordinate walked in and bowed his head to report.
"Show him in."
Capone Bege exhaled a puff of white smoke, narrowed his eyes, and said calmly.
At this moment, he was filled with the imposing aura of a ruler in power.
"Yes."
The subordinate withdrew.
Before long, crisp footsteps could be heard approaching.
"Fufufufu…"
Before the man arrived, his voice came first.
A strange laugh drifted in from outside the door, followed by a tall, domineering figure walking in, a pink feathered coat coming into view.
The towering Doflamingo looked at Capone Bege seated on the sofa, baring a row of arrogant teeth on his haughty face.
"Bege, you've been making some pretty big moves lately."
He plopped down beside Capone Bege. The contrast between his massive body and the short Capone Bege was striking.
"If I don't, it won't work. What—Doffy, are you here to call me to account?"
Capone Bege smiled amiably at him, exhaled a puff of smoke, and said.
"Fufufufu… you hit two of my Donquixote Family's strongholds. Aren't you going to show a little something?"
The crimson lenses of Doflamingo's sunglasses glinted as his fingers slowly moved, strands of thread so fine they were almost invisible gently dancing.
"What do you want?" Capone Bege said flatly.
Over the past year, he had already taken control of the entire West Blue underworld. Even the Donquixote Family had been reduced to just their headquarters.
The Donquixote Family's power was not limited to the West Blue—it spread across all four seas, and they even had influence in the Grand Line.
However, both he and Doflamingo were businessmen. Power existed only to make money.
As long as there were sufficient profits, everything could be negotiated.
Moreover, he had fought Doflamingo once before. Although he lost, still… heh.
"Fufufufu… I hear you've developed a new kind of weapon. I want to be the one to sell these weapons outside of the four seas."
Doflamingo knew he had backing, so he got straight to the point.
"That's no problem, but I have a condition." Capone Bege nodded readily.
For him, he did not want to enter the Grand Line yet, because his master's task had not been completed.
Although the Mafia's influence had already spread across the four seas, the only sea they truly controlled was the West Blue. The East Blue, South Blue, and North Blue all had many powerful underground forces with deep, tangled roots—among them the Donquixote Family.
Thus, the Mafia's influence in the other three seas was not particularly strong.
"Fufufufu, what condition?" Doflamingo grinned as he asked.
"The Donquixote Family withdraws from the four seas, which will be controlled by my Mafia, and you will be my Mafia's sole partner."
Capone Bege said calmly.
"Fufufufu…"
Doflamingo laughed, his eyes fixed tightly on him, saying nothing.
Capone Bege also looked at him, his expression composed and unhurried.
"Fufufufufu… in that case, it's still my Donquixote Family that's taking the loss."
"What if we add this to the deal…"
A door appeared in Capone Bege's palm, and from within it, a cannon barrel emerged.
"What's that?" Doflamingo asked.
The corner of Capone Bege's mouth lifted slightly as he pulled the trigger directly.
Boom!!
A wind round slammed straight into the wall, blasting it apart as bricks and stones flew everywhere.
Tap tap tap…
At that moment, a flurry of footsteps sounded as people ran over in this direction.
