Chapter 178: Sakazuki Arrives
The Emperor Crocodile reverted to his human form, his back hideously mangled, flesh churning and torn.
But he did not care at all. His expression was still ice-cold as he held Jonathan in his hand.
Jiang Qize stood amid the ruins, looking at the Marine fortress that had already been smashed to pieces.
Most of the Marine officers had been captured. Some Marine soldiers were dead, others wounded, lying on the ground and wailing in pain.
Buzz!!
At that moment, the clouds in the sky suddenly turned fiery red, radiating a heaven-shaking wave of heat.
A "sun" rose from the horizon, growing larger and larger.
Jiang Qize raised his eyebrows slightly, his thin, icy lips curling into a faint smile.

The magma fireball exploded, horrifying molten lava splashing in all directions. A shockwave spread outward with a deafening roar.

On top of the wall, a tall figure appeared.
A middle-aged man with a square face and a grim, authoritative expression. He wore a rose-shaped boutonniere, a dark red suit, a Marine cap on his head, black leather gloves on his hands, and a Marine vice admiral's coat draped over his shoulders.
"You all deserve to die!"
Sakazuki looked at the fortress, now no different from ruins, and spoke coldly, his face dark.
"Akainu… long time no see!"
Jiang Qize stepped forward and greeted him with a smile.
"Akainu?" Sakazuki's eyes swept over, his gaze cold and indifferent as it landed on him.
Jiang Qize raised an eyebrow.
"You don't even have a title yet?"
"Oh right… you haven't been promoted to admiral yet. I forgot." He suddenly realized.
Within the Marines, titles seemed to be assigned by the organization. Sakazuki had only been a vice admiral for a short time, so he had not yet been given the title Akainu.
Even Aokiji and Kizaru had not received their titles yet.
"Dragon Flame Pirate Crew, you will accept the judgment of justice!"
Sakazuki swept his gaze coldly over the crowd and said something rather melodramatic.
"Brat, you still dare to appear before me…"
Raptorex slowly stood up, looking down from above at Sakazuki, who seemed like an ant to him.
"Last time, I was just careless!"
Seeing Raptorex, a flash of humiliation and anger passed through Sakazuki's eyes as he spoke coldly.
Last time, he had been slapped away and then they had "escaped." That was a disgrace to Sakazuki.
This time, he would absolutely send this gang of vicious pirates into Impel Down!
"Is that so…" Raptorex split his mouth into a grin, his massive hand reaching toward him.
"Let me handle this."
Suddenly, Jiang Qize spoke.
Raptorex's hand stopped instantly and slowly withdrew.
"Summoner Ze!" Sakazuki looked at him as both fists suddenly transformed into magma.
Drops of molten lava fell from the massive magma fists, melting the wall and making him look like a god of lava.
Boom!!
Jiang Qize tapped the ground with his toe, his body turning into a blur as he rushed toward Sakazuki.
Sakazuki moved as well. Magma roiled, carrying terrifying power as it smashed toward Jiang Qize.
