Chapter 196 - Chapter 196: Yuba Turned into Ruins

Chapter 196: Yuba Turned into Ruins

But this sand tornado was no longer the kind they had experienced before.

  "Rumble~"

The dark-gray sand tornado reached the houses of Yuba Town. Any building it touched was instantly torn into shreds and swept up into the air.

Like the wrath of heaven descending, the tornado ravaged this land. Wherever it passed, nothing but devastation remained.

  One hour later.

There was not a single standing house left in all of Yuba—yes, not one.

Everything had been reduced to ruins.

  Crack…

A stone in the rubble was pushed aside. A man dressed in white cloth crawled out. Staring at the ruins before him, he froze, his eyes filled with confusion.

He had never experienced a tornado powerful enough to rip up every building in an entire city. This time… he had witnessed it with his own eyes.

  "It's gone… everything is gone!"

The man murmured, staring blankly at his surroundings, not knowing what to do.

  "Cough, cough…"

Soon, people began crawling out of cellars one after another. When they saw this scene, they were almost driven mad.

If the sandstorm outside had disappeared after the tornado passed, it wouldn't have been this bad. But the tornado was gone, and the sandstorm was still raging—only slightly weaker than before.

Now their houses were gone, and everything else had been destroyed or carried away by the tornado. They no longer had anywhere to shelter from the sandstorm.

  ...

Within the Sea of Devouring Ghosts.

On a vast, endless ocean, the Dragon Flame was anchored in the middle. The people aboard were laughing and playing around, eating and chatting merrily, the atmosphere lively.

And two kilometers away from the Dragon Flame.

"I didn't expect them to actually dare wait for us. Heehee, interesting!"

On a small boat, the clown-masked man in black sitting lazily at the back let out a sinister laugh. The split grin on his clown mask seemed to drip with mockery.

  "Foolish behavior!"

The black-clad man wearing a demon-god mask at the front said coldly, the chill in his eyes seeming to shoot outward.

"That little bird in the sky, leave it to me. I haven't tasted bird meat like that before."

The clown laughed as he looked toward the sky filled with boundless white clouds.

  "This mission cannot fail."

"A mere pirate crew—easy to capture!"

Soon, the small boat was only one kilometer away from the Dragon Flame—just a thousand meters.

"World Government… should be CP0, right? Not sure what kind of strength they have. Camon, give them a little snack to taste."

A faint smile curled at the corner of Jiang Qize's mouth as he spoke softly aboard the Dragon Flame.

  "Yes, Captain!"

Camon's mouth split into a grin as well, madness flashing in his eyes.

He walked over to the control console. The Dragon Flame slowly turned, and the enormous golden dragon's mouth aimed directly at the small boat.

  "They're coming!"

Camon's finger came down on the massive red button.

  Buzz!!

A golden glow lit up inside the dark mouth of the golden dragon. It was as if streams of energy in the air were being drawn inward. The light grew brighter and brighter, gradually filling the entire dragon's maw.

With such intense light and massive energy fluctuations, even if they were blind, they could tell that the Dragon Flame Pirates were about to attack.

"As expected of Pluto. With energy fluctuations like this… ordinary people couldn't block it. Even I would have to put in some effort!"

The demon-god-masked CP0 leader said coldly as he stared at the ever-brightening sun-like glow.

Immediately after, a powerful aura burst out from his body.

  Buzz!!

The air violently shook as an invisible shockwave swept outward.

His shoulder-length black hair began to move without any wind, as if a layer of energy had wrapped around him.

  Buzz!!

An even more terrifying aura surged forth. His skin suddenly turned red—not blazing red, but a deep crimson.

Even his hair was enveloped in a red mist-like energy.
