Chapter 285 - Chapter 285: The Giant Mysterious Island

Chapter 285: The Giant Mysterious Island

"Mm."

Jiang Qize looked at them and nodded.

Giants truly possessed innate advantages. From their sheer presence alone, one could tell how powerful they were.

Dorry and Brogy had already reached the peak of pseudo-Admiral level strength. If the two joined forces, they could contend with an Admiral.

As for the other giants, each of them possessed strength comparable to a Marine Headquarters Rear Admiral.

In other words, the Giant Warrior Pirates were now no weaker than any pirate crew under an Emperor-level pirate crew.

"Let's go see the black dragon first."

A gleam flashed in Jiang Qize's eyes.

"Mm."

Dorry and Brogy then led him inward.

Thud~ Thud~ Thud~

The two giants cleared the way, walking along a path lined on both sides with towering, lush ancient trees. The entire forest was dim.

The ground was covered with a thick layer of rotting leaves, damp with moisture. From this alone, it was clear that it rained frequently here and that the air was extremely humid.

"Roar—!"

A thunderous roar echoed out.

Thud~ Thud~

The ground trembled slightly as a thirty-meter Tyrannosaurus rex appeared, its massive head lunging forward as it let out a fierce bellow at them.

"ROAR—!"

A shockwave spread outward, sending great swaths of leaves flying.

"What a massive T. rex. The oxygen concentration here must be extremely high."

A hint of surprise flashed in Jiang Qize's eyes.

The dinosaurs here were even larger than the ones he had summoned.

"Let's try this."

The corners of his mouth lifted.

Buzz!!

A golden aura surged from his body. Behind him, it condensed into a thirty-meter-tall golden imperial phantom, radiating supreme heavenly might. A pair of eyes that seemed to look down upon heaven and earth fixed their gaze on the Tyrannosaurus.

The Tyrannosaurus's savage crimson vertical pupils met the Emperor's all-seeing eyes.

Buzz!!

Its body trembled.

"Roar…"

It let out a subdued growl, then lowered its enormous head toward Jiang Qize.

"As expected… impressive."

Jiang Qize's lips curved upward.

He had controlled it with ease.

He could feel that he now held dominion over the Tyrannosaurus's soul—if he willed it to die, it would do so without hesitation.

But he also sensed that his mind felt slightly heavier.

"So there's a limit."

He could understand that. If there were no restrictions, he could control everyone in the world.

"Let's go."

He leapt onto the Tyrannosaurus's back.

The others followed, jumping up as well, while Dorry and Brogy continued to lead the way.

Two hours later.

They arrived at the foot of a colossal mountain peak.

"Captain, this is the mountain where the black dragon resides—up there."

Dorry pointed at the peak that pierced straight into the clouds, its summit shrouded in a vast sea of mist.

"Roar—!"

A dragon's cry echoed from the heavens.

Jiang Qize looked up, spreading his Observation Haki to envelop the entire mountain.

Buzz!

As if sensing his scrutiny, a peculiar aura collided with his Observation Haki, causing it to shudder violently.

"Oh? Interesting."

Jiang Qize narrowed his eyes.

There was actually something capable of countering Observation Haki.

"Roar—!"

Another dragon's cry rang out, this time laced with anger.

Buzz!!

A wave of scorching heat descended from the sky. A two-meter-wide mass of black flames shot downward.

Wherever the flames passed, the air ignited and twisted.

The surrounding temperature soared rapidly, quickly surpassing 100 degrees Celsius.

"What terrifying flames!"

Jiang Qize raised an eyebrow. Then he stomped his foot hard—leaving a small crater in the ground—as a shockwave burst outward. His entire body transformed into a bolt of lightning and shot upward.

He appeared before the fireball and threw out a massive punch.
