Chapter 297 - Chapter 297: Infinite Hell

Chapter 297: Infinite Hell

At this point, only a few guards remained in Blazing Hell. They were swiftly dealt with.

Jiang Qize continued downward.

Every level he passed through had its pirates released. Large numbers of pirates surged upward, chaos spreading everywhere.

The members of the Baroque Pirates were also found one by one and followed behind them.

Infinite Hell.

"The ones who came are very powerful… I wonder who would dare attack Impel Down…"

In a dark chamber, a massive black shadow over ten meters tall spoke in a booming voice.

"Could it be Whitebeard? Heh heh… If it is, that would be interesting."

"Whitebeard wouldn't come."

A hoarse, sharp voice echoed out.

Those imprisoned on the sixth level were all top-tier powerhouses. Their Observation Haki was exceptionally strong, so they could naturally sense the situation above.

"So, you still came."

A smile curled at the corner of Crocodile's mouth.

He had sensed that familiar, irritating aura—and it was getting closer.

"Hey, brat… you know the people up there?"

The hoarse, sharp voice sounded again, clearly addressing him.

Crocodile looked over, his Observation Haki sweeping out—only to be blocked by an even stronger Haki.

In the dark cell opposite him stood a tall, slender figure. His white hair was styled into two braids. He wore a plum-red shirt and blood-red trousers, black leather shoes trimmed with gold.

A wide blood-red cape draped over him, lined with a checkered pattern, and a blue rose rested at his collar.

He was the Red Count—The Lone Red—Baron Baloric Redfield, a man once spoken of in the same breath as Gol D. Roger and Whitebeard.

That hoarse, sharp voice had come from him.

"They came to save me," Crocodile said with a faint smile.

"Hahaha! Brat, did you get punched stupid? Are rookies these days all so good at bragging?"

The towering shadow beside them burst into laughter.

"I believe you," said the Lone Red, Baloric Redfield, calmly.

Crocodile raised an eyebrow.

"Tch. Old bat, have you gone senile from being locked up too? A mere rookie—having companions that strong?"

"Yeah. This place is so close to Marine Headquarters. Do you think the people up there can actually break through?"

The others in their cells mocked him mercilessly.

"Heh. You old fossils must've been kneeling for too long. Once my brother rises, what's the Navy worth?" Crocodile said coldly.

"Brat, when I was famous across the seas, you were probably still drinking milk. You dare speak to me like that?"

"If we were outside, I'd crush your head with one hand."

A pirate nearby roared angrily.

"I'll kill you first in a moment," Crocodile replied without hesitation, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

Boom!!

Suddenly, a sound shattered the darkness.

Light flooded in.

A figure's shadow was cast onto the prison floor.

The light illuminated the few pirates within Infinite Hell, revealing their faces.

Tap…

Jiang Qize walked in, his footsteps echoing through the prison.

"Old Sand…"

His voice reverberated throughout the cells.

Inside, Crocodile's mouth curved wide, revealing a row of white teeth.

At that moment, he would have been lying if he said he wasn't moved.

But his pride wouldn't allow him to cheer.

So he simply smiled—to show how he felt.
