Chapter 303: Arrival at Marine Headquarters
Sengoku looked in the direction they had departed.
Suddenly, a flash of realization struck his mind, and his pupils shrank.
"Not good—they're going to Marine Headquarters!" he shouted in alarm.
Everyone's eyes shrank at the same time.
"Kizaru, hurry back."
Sengoku immediately said to Kizaru.
Right now, only Kizaru's speed could allow him to reach Marine Headquarters ahead of them and make at least some kind of preparation.
"Mm."
Kizaru, unusually without his usual lazy expression, responded. Then he instantly transformed into a beam of light and vanished from where he stood.
"We should hurry back too. Hopefully they don't go too far!"
Sengoku said through clenched teeth.
This was the first time he had ever said something like this about pirates. A single pirate crew had actually left him completely helpless.
Afterward, they also left aboard a warship.
As for the marines in the sea, they had woken up the moment they were thrown into the water. But since they had already become Jiang Qize's people, they did not go ashore.
Only after everyone else had left did they climb back onto land.
…
"Ze, why didn't you kill those marines?" Crocodile asked coldly, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes.
He had been ambushed, and even Pluton had been taken by the marines. How could he possibly accept that?
"Keeping them alive is more interesting than killing them. If we kill them, the World Government will send even stronger people to take control of the navy. Then the sea won't be nearly as fun."
Jiang Qize replied with a smile.
He intended to control the navy, so he couldn't kill those top naval powerhouses. Otherwise, what he would obtain in the end would only be an empty shell—completely useless.
Right now he had already controlled a portion of the officers. Combined with Akainu, he already had partial control over a small section of the navy. Later, he would slowly continue infiltrating it.
Sooner or later, the navy would change masters without the World Government even realizing it.
"Marine Headquarters is right there. Let's cause some trouble before we leave!"
Jiang Qize said with a smile as he looked at the Marine Headquarters island appearing ahead.
Crocodile looked over and the corner of his mouth lifted into a smile.
"That works."
…
Meanwhile, Kizaru had already returned to Marine Headquarters.
Fleet Admiral's Office.
"What…?"
Kong stood up, staring at Kizaru in disbelief.
"Mm."
Kizaru nodded.
Woooo—!
Suddenly, the alarm of Marine Headquarters began to blare.
Kong hurried outside and saw the enormous Wind God descending from the sky. Standing on its back were Summoner Ze and his crew.
As if sensing his gaze, Summoner Ze glanced over at him and smiled.
"Borsalino, enter battle readiness. Send all family members into the underground shelter!"
Kong said seriously.
Immediately afterward, a powerful aura burst from his body. With a single Shave, he vanished from where he stood.
Bang!
Kong appeared in a vast open area, a wave of air spreading outward.
In the sky, the Wind God came to a stop, hovering directly above him.
"Go have some fun. Try not to kill anyone."
Jiang Qize said to them.
"Yes, Captain!"
Camon and the others' eyes lit up with excitement.
Then they jumped down.
Ankylosaurus, Emperor Crocodile, and the others also descended.
"You're not going?"
Crocodile glanced at him.
"No. It's boring." Jiang Qize shook his head.
With Garp and the others absent, and only Kong here, there was no real fun in it.
"Then I'll go."
After saying that, Crocodile transformed into a swirling storm of sand and swept downward.
The ones left on top were the members of the Baroque Pirate crew—among them were several senior agents who were secretly his people.
