Chapter 360: Vice Admiral Onigumo
"The four large islands are named Azure Dragon Island, Vermilion Bird Island, White Tiger Island, and Black Tortoise Island. Later, I'll hand some blueprints to the construction department—within one year, everything I need must be built."
Jiang Qize looked at Robin as he spoke.
"Yes, Captain."
Robin nodded.
"Mm, you may leave now."
Jiang Qize waved his hand.
Robin cast him a resentful glance before turning and leaving.
"You should know my identity by now, right?"
He turned his gaze toward Tisi and asked with a gentle smile.
"Mm." Tisi nodded.
At this moment, her heart was filled with shock.
She never imagined that this man was actually the captain of a large pirate crew, commanding so many islands.
Although she didn't know how strong pirate crews really were, anyone who could control that many islands was definitely not comparable to those pirates who raided villages.
"Are you afraid?" Jiang Qize brushed his hand across her face, looking into her bright eyes.
"I'm not afraid. You won't harm me." Tisi shook her head.
Hearing this, the corners of his lips lifted, and he leaned down to press a kiss onto her soft lips.
...
The New World.
Marine G-5 Branch Base.
"I wonder why Admiral Akainu has come to see me?"
Vice Admiral Onigumo looked at the imposing Akainu sitting on the sofa and spoke in a low voice.
He was not one of Akainu's subordinates, and their ideologies were different.
Akainu believed in absolute justice—a hardline hawk.
As for him, he believed in rational justice. He did not advocate the complete extermination of pirates and instead followed Aokiji.
The two had no real connection, so Akainu's sudden visit put him on guard.
"Vice Admiral Onigumo, what do you think of me now?"
Akainu looked at him, a faint smile flashing in his eyes as he asked calmly.
"Admiral Akainu has eliminated countless pirates and accumulated numerous military merits. Naturally, he is worthy of respect."
Vice Admiral Onigumo watched him warily as he replied.
"Then have you ever considered… following me?" Akainu said directly.
"Hmph. Admiral Akainu, if you came here to amuse yourself at my expense, you may leave."
Vice Admiral Onigumo said coldly.
"Hahaha! Whether you agree or not is not up to you."
Akainu laughed.
Onigumo instantly became alert and used Soru to vanish from his spot.
But in the blink of an eye, Akainu appeared before him, his massive fist slamming heavily into his abdomen.
"Ah—!"
Vice Admiral Onigumo's eyes nearly bulged out from the impact as his body was sent flying like a ragdoll, crashing violently into the wall.
Boom!
The wall exploded from the force.
He spat out a mouthful of blood.
Akainu appeared before him once more, looking down at him from above.
"Akainu, are you trying to rebel?!"
Vice Admiral Onigumo shouted in shock.
At the same time, his heart was filled with disbelief.
Akainu's strength was far greater than his—his speed so fast that he couldn't even react. One punch had already severely wounded him.
"No, no. I'm just here to visit you. I may have used a bit too much force. Here… have a fruit and recover a little."
Akainu looked down at him with a smile. In his hand, a dinosaur Devil Fruit appeared.
The moment he saw the fruit, a sense of foreboding rose in Onigumo's heart.
He tried to get up.
But Akainu had already crouched down, grabbing his head with one hand and forcefully shoving the dinosaur fruit toward his mouth.
"Eat it. Once you do, your injuries will heal."
Akainu said softly as he pushed the fruit into his mouth.
