I woke up with with the biggest headache i've ever had, I was surfing a wave at least 3 stories high and I took a fall. The Last thing I remember seeing is the spinning of the world as the wave took me and then an impact on the side of my head.
I woke up and my hands are chained and I am in an environment I am not used to. My mind is foggy but I am remembering things that i've never done. The name Atreus Moon is ringing in my head with a overwhelming sense of identity. I cant recall my name and this is the closest thing I can grip to.
"Atreus, A -Tre-us." I roll the name off my tounge just to see how it feels and it clicks into place in my head. If I cant think of any other name and thats the name that's in all of my crazy memories that clearly arent real then I'll use it.
My hands go to move again just to be remindied that I am restrained. A pipe above me Is leaking water droplets down on to me every so often keeping my head slightly wet, For some reason I find comfort in the moistness that covers me. I scan my environment again and see sigils covering the walls, They look familiar in a sense but I have no idea where i have seen them before.
I am taken out of my mental ramblings as a Middle aged women walks into the room and looks at me with a smile.
??? - " Oh good, You are awake Finally"
Atreus - "Where am I ? Who are you ?" My mind is still reeling and my headache is not helping.
??? - " You are at the Luxe Apartments in New York Deary and who I am will not help you in the slightest." she said with a small sinister smirk.
Looking at the women she is in all pink & She has a Toad looking face. She is looking at me like I am lesser then her and it is making me slightly uncomfortable. Pulling at my handcuffs slightly harder the noise travels across the room a clear clink of metal on metal.
???- "That wont do you any good, I've been following you for a while now and I know what you are. You are a creature, A creature that can help me get back at the Hedges who sealed my magic" She lifts her sleeve and I see the runic symbols that are etched into her skin.
Atreus - "Magic ??" I say with confusion. "I think you are mistaken Miss, I have never preformed magic before in my life, Magic isnt even real!!"
I say that with all the conviction that I have.
??? - "Do you think I will fall for your lie's ? I know you have innate magic inside of you and I was hoping to come up with a deal, We can even form a magical contract. if you so wish ?"
She finished her sentence and Memories flashed through my mind of me preforming magic, Only the memories are not of me. It is of a guy who seems to be albino. White hair and White eyelashes and even pale light blue eyes. I see flashes of a world not quite of earth, The feeling it gives off is of pure wander.
I see a Male that is Extremely white and a girl that is olive tan. the feeling that I get is of Partialness. The memories are going through my mind to fast, One image sticks in my mind to vividly. A man, A monster. Covered in Moths half stepping and skipping towards my 'Parents' and me. The feeling of helplessness is overwhelming. My Father steps in between The Beast and my mother and me.
The Monster barely moves his arm and my father neck snaps back his head looking at us as his neck is over extended. My mother gripping me tightly, Does a series of hand signals that seem familiar to something i've watched before. Even the moth man seems familiar. My mind does not connect the dots because the trauma is too much, Recalling the scene in such vividness is overwhelming.
My mind is going through all of this and the women in front of me is watching as I flinch.
??? - "Are you going to respond creature or will I need to just cut you limb by limb to use your magic"
Atreus - "Can you please give me a moment, My mind isnt quite there yet can we just restart ?"
??? - " Restart," she says as she test the word on her tongue "No, I don't think we will restart. Either you help me willingly or I Forcibly make you. Now Choose Creature. I will count to 10"
